The Den of the Kobolds

Asteri continued his advance, and along the way he encountered a dozen coblodes, all very aggressive but which he easily defeated as they were only at the white core. But on the way he saw that there were paths and bloodstains on the walls and going further and further he saw that these stains became more and more and changed shape as if they were written in a language that Asteri does not know.

'Tell me Aurelion by chance do kobolds make sacrifices or something like that aimed at dragons?'

'Usually only those who are commanded by evil dragons do, other than not.'

'So these kobolds are followers of an asshole dragon? great I'd say.'

'I would say porpio no.' Aurelion denied it.

'How come? aren't these writings dedicated to dragons? ' Asteri asked.

'It was so if this was dragonic ... but this language is demonic.' Aurelion answered him.

Asteri stopped.

'Do kobolds know the demon tongue?'

'No, or at least they shouldn't, they only learn the common one is dragonic, the rest doesn't interest them, at least that ...' Aurelion stopped.

'They are not controlled by a demon.' Asteri finished.

'Exact.'

'Well if we stay here we won't find out anything, let's continue'

Advancing into the cave she met more and more kobolds and the scriptures became many.

Eventually she found herself in front of a stone door two meters high and one meter wide, a normal size thinking that the cave is three meters high and two meters wide.

'So let's go in?' Asteri asked.

'That's the only thing we can do.' Aurelion answered him.

Asteri pushed the stone door, which slowly opened and upon entering, Asteri saw that the environment changed. From the uneven rock of the cave he ended up in a perfectly constructed corridor with some walls, ceiling and gray stone brick pavement. Torches were attached to either side of the corridor.

'So they didn't just live in a simple cave ... let's see where this corridor leads.' Asteri said.

'Be careful ... I feel a demonic aura ... familiar.' Aurelion said.

'I feel a hostile presence too, but I'm not familiar ... it's not him.' Asteri said, turning to Pólemos.

Walking down the corridor, no one was present for Asteri, but along it he sometimes found doors, probably accommodation for the kobolds, since passing by you hear voices and sometimes snores of someone sleeping.

At the end of this corridor he found a stone door but this time with an iron handle, Asteri wasted no time and opened the door is what he found was a huge room supported at the top by tall columns that reached ten meters high.

The great hall could reach fifty meters in length and thirty wide, entirely built in stone, from the construction it seemed made by humans. But what made Asteri frown was the presence of about thirty kobolds staring at him as he entered, needless to say those were stares of hostility towards him.

"Hello everyone, I was looking for my way home, you know I'm lost and maybe you would be kind enough to tell me where the exit is." Asteri said.

"HUMAN! KILL HUMAN FOR MASTER! HIM SACRIFICE FOR DEMON OF TERROR!" cried the kobold.

"Fuck, how can they not help me, how rude." Asteri cursed.

'Demon of terror? it won't be ... 'Aurelion reflected.

'What Aurelion?' Asteri asked.

'Ninete, think about getting rid of these kobolds for now.'

'It was my intention to do it.'

All the kobolds charged Asteri, were equipped with various weapons, knives, short swords, hatchets and other small things.

"You wanted it." Asteri said.

Asteri started waving his arms as if to create something, it looked like a 'fireball' but it was three times bigger and after five seconds he created a sphere that resembled a star.

"'Solar Sphere'" said Asteri who threw it at the first kobold that charged, the sphere traveled towards it and on its way left a trail of fire for the floor. The kobold could not do anything to avoid this incatensimo and was eventually hit. But it did not end there because the impact created an explosion of fire that engulfed all the kobolds in the area of fifteen meters. After that explosion, half of the kobolds had been incinerated.

The surviving kobolds had been shocked by the scene that had just occurred, as many as fifteen of their comrades had just been eliminated in a single blow.

"Surprised? This is one of my strongest chains in the 'Solar Sphere', unfortunately I can only use it twice a day." Asteri said regretfully.

After what Asteri said the kobolds recovered and looked at him with even more hostility "HUMAN BASTARD! KILLEEEEEEEEE!" the remaining kobolds launched themselves.

"Yes, actually I'm a bastard." Asteri shrugged.

Draw the normal sword that he had in his sheath and he raised it in front of him if he is charged with the kobolds. With extreme speed Asteri cut the throats or pierced the hearts of all the kobolds without them being able to react.

'Couldn't you have killed them all like this without wasting one use of the' Solar Sphere '?' Aurelion asked.

'Fifteen is a manageable number, but doubling becomes more complicated, I would have killed them anyway but some injuries could cause it, so I wanted to avoid and do a cleaner job. I don't know what's up ahead better to stay at full strength. ' Asteri explained.

'I think so ...' Aurelion replied.

But as Asteri wanted to advance a dark red orb of fire headed towards him, but with a fluid leg movement he dodged the orb which crashed into the wall behind him leaving a large burn.

"* whistle * nice throw but miss your aim, my friend." Asteri said, addressing the tiny figure who entered the great hall.

"Don't joke human, you have crossed the soybean of a sacred place. But we give you the possibility to escape from here unscathed or prey in the demonic fire." the figure said.

"Mmmm really a slack offer, but no thanks I'm here to finish a mission is to return home to go out with a friend." Asteri said ironically.

"Fool human you will regret it." The figure came out of the shadows and turned out to be a kobold, but he was different from the others. He had no red skin but was pale white, and was dressed in various tribal garments, holding a stick that had a dark red crystal set at the end and a dark red globe in the other hand. on his head he had a hat with long horns attached, and was taller than normal kobolds, Asteri believed that he reached up to one meter in height.
