1 chapter 1: unexpected death

"Huh... Wh... what happened?! Where am I ?!" I exclaimed, but at that moment i also heard a fluttering sound from up above me.

As I looked up, a gorgeous lady with breathtaking features, silver eyes, with pitch black hair, wearing a white pearl like dress appeared out of nowhere. As I gazed at her, the more alluring her features became, and without realizing it, I was caught in a daze; as she descended before me like a goddess.

"You've come to?" -said the woman as she looked at me. "you have been sleeping for quite a while"

"Ah... yes sorry I was just shocked by your sudden appearance and failed to comprehend what is going on. By the way how were you gliding or better yet where am I?"

"No need to be scared, I kind of dislike that since you are a man. Come and take a seat." said the woman while pointing at a sofa opposite of her.

As I started walking towards the sofa, I looked around the place I was in. It is a simple room with walls made of some kind of dark brown wood, and no other furniture besides a plain coffee table in the middle with a set of wooden tea cups filled with a nice fragrant smell coming out of the tea pot.

"Ok, what do you want to know first?" - the woman asked as I sat down

"Hmm.... first where am I and what am I doing here?" I asked the women seriously

"Tchh! Can't you ask me something more fascinating like "Did you abduct me for your sexual pleasure? plan to make me your husband, or something along does lines. You won't get a girlfriend if you are that boring." answered the women while pouting.

"Fine then I'll give you a direct answer. In your world, this place is called heaven and approximately 1:45 am Aug16, 2019, you died!"

Died? If I remember correctly, when I got off work and got home I ate my dinner, took a shower and watched a few episodes of anime before I fell asleep.

"Can I ask how I died?"

"Well... You see... About that."

She snaps her fingers and out of nowhere we appear in a different room, pitch black with an enormous sized globe about the size of a two-story building in the middle and floating on top of it a couch looking down over it.

"Do you know sometimes when someone is sleeping they get this felling, like they tripped and fall?" the women ask nervously with sweat appearing on her forehead.

"Yeah I have experienced that myself a couple of times. Why?" I asked some-how feeling where this heading.

"You see I... I drank too much and passed out on the couch, and in my dream, I experienced it. Which inevitably caused me to actually fall towards the globe, and by the time I woke up, I barely had enough time to minimize the force of my fall. But fortunately, and unfortunately the spot I hit was your apartment complex which you happen to be the only attendant that was in the building. So umm… I'm very sorry I squashed you!! I'm really sorry!" the woman apologizes with tears flowing uncontrollably all over her face.

After I heard that I face palmed not knowing if I should cry because I died or laugh because I felt no reason to be mad at her. I look at the woman that is still crying and ask.

"Why was I the only one there, what happen with the other people? If I remember correctly the apartment is very large, so there should have been other people besides me, right?"

"Well, you see at the time you are the only guest there, all the other people were moved to a different place cause the owners were re-modeling the rooms.

Fuck! Can I cry? no I should have the right to cry! How much bad luck do I have, to be the only one that died due to this dumb goddess? Then I suddenly remember something important.

"My family, how about my parents they said they were heading to the mall to shop, have they realized I died yet?" I asked anxiously

"They are still shopping they have not been informed yet, in a couple of minutes your mom will end up seeing your face in the news on a tv near her."

"If I'm in heaven, can I speak to some other God that can revive me. If it's impossible can I ask someone to erase everything related to my existence and if possible if he can bless my family with love and happiness for the rest of their lives?" I ask with tears falling down my face

"Reviving you is impossible because people have already seen your mangled body and is with in the process of being transported to a nearby morgue, for second request isn't too hard accomplish I will make sure they live up to a very old age filled with love and happiness. Oh! I forgot, the God that you are referring to is me I'm the over seer of your world."

"I see, well since the first request is not possible any more there is nothing I could do, but I should still thank you for the second one

"I'm really sorry, waaa waaaah! I'm sorry!!" the Goddess started to cry again

I looked at her and sighed. "There's nothing you could do any way, disappearing and maybe getting reincarnated doesn't sound too bad."

"Alright, alright stop crying, you're a goddess right so stop acting like a child."

'Sniff, sniff'

"I…it is b.b..b… because if mom finds out about you, she will punish me because I broke a rule again." she said looking in distraught while wiping her tears.

What the hell! So, she is really a child, a full-grown woman acting like a little kid!

"What should I do now? Should I just fall asleep or close my eyes, and I will slowly disappear or?"

"No, although you cannot be revived in your world, I can still ask my sister to give you a chance to be reincarnated in another world."

"Another world, just like those anime and manga's with swords and magic and different races? They actually exist?" I ask excitedly

"Yes, well you can choose any kind of world, for example your world has no magic, but its technology is extremely advanced. There is also a world with nothing but vile demons living in it."

"Since you like swords and magic then I have a perfect place for you to go too. Can you give me a couple of minutes, I will try to contact my sister and ask her for permission?" she said heading out of the room in a swiftly manner.

After 30 minutes or so, she comes back with a smile on her face.
