52 Chapter 50:

***FREYA'S POINT OF VIEW***

I had decided not to talk about anything that had happened a few days ago. I didn't want to think about the fact that someone else's baby was going to be coming out of me in less than a month. I didn't want to think about the fact I would have to send said child away from me after he was born.

Movement in my belly let me know that he could feel my stress. I let out a long sigh and glance down at the sandwich on my desk. It made my stomach churn just looking at it. But I didn't want to be picky. I couldn't help it though.

Jade sighs loudly drawing my attention. I glance up at her and she looks at me and then down at the food and back up at me again. I scrunch my nose at her roll my eyes. Jade and Gemini weren't helping. They forced to eat. I realize why I needed to eat. But since last night I had done nothing but puke and I wasn't fond of that.

"The Elven soldiers should be arriving today." I glance back up at Jade and my hand falls on my bump. She glances down at my hand and smiles softly.

"I will deal with them. We don't need them to know about your situation. I'll take Raph with me." I nod and lean back against my chair. Raph..I hadn't seen him for a few days and that worried me. I could exactly ask anyone because I didn't want them to read to much into it. So I just kept my questions to myself. Sighing I glance around the room. There wasn't much more that I could do in my office and I was rather bored.

I inhale a deep breath and stand up. The room spun slightly causing me to brace myself against the desk. I waited for the room to stop before I stood straight again.

Jade chuckles lightly and shakes her head. I grumble a few curse words at her before leaving the office and heading straight to Astor's. I knew that henwas in there. I give Damien a small smile before entering the office.

Astor looks up and gives me a lazy smile.

"What can I do for my beautiful Luna?" I arch an eyebrow at him and shake my head.

"Jade is taking care of The Elven soldiers and she's taking Raph with her. And I was getting bored in my office." Astor chuckles and stands up walking toward me. I sigh as he wraps his arms around me gently. I close my eyes and relax into his hold. Until movement in belly causes him to chuckle.

"He's really moving today. I felt that against me." I groan. It was seriously uncomfortable when he moved so much.

"Come on. I'll lay with you. That way you can rest. And so can he." I nod and let Astor lead me to our room. I crawl into bed and lay on my left side. Astor chuckles again but lays down with his chest pressed against back and places his hand over my bump. The warmth from him felt nice and even calmed the baby down. I relax into the mattress and close my eyes.

***ASTOR'S POINT OF VIEW***

It didn't take long for Freya to fall asleep. She was exhausted. I could see it in her eyes. The only way that she ever got a decent amount of sleep the last couple of days was if I wrapped myself around her and placed my hand on her belly. I assumed it was because of my body heat. I couldn't help but smile down at her sleeping frame.

The knock on my door makes me growl protectively. Freya needed her sleep. The door opens and I could smell Raph. He comes around to Freya's side of the bed and looks down at her sleeping face. He frowns. Obviously seeing what I saw. The Dark circles under her eyes and the lack of color in her cheeks.

"How's she doing?" I suppress rolling my eyes at him.

"Why haven't you been to see her? She's worried about you. She doesn't say it but I can feel it." Raph sighs and rubs the back of his neck. Guilt written all over his face.

"It's hard being around her brother." Raph looked completely defeated. I let out a sigh.

"Do you think I don't know how you feel about her?" Raph's eyes widen and he looks up at with a shocked expression on his face. I let out a small chuckle.

"I'm not angry. I don't have a right to be considering what I did..You are her best friend Raph. Whether I want to admit it or not. She needs you." Raph kneels down by the bed and pokes Freya on her cheek gently. She frowns for moment and then relaxes again.

Raph smiles and shakes his head. I thought that Aro would be angry but he wasn't. He remained silent and content.

"I'm sorry brother." I couldn't help but smile alittle.

"I'm not. It's alright." It was alright because I knew who my mate wanted and who she loved. Even if she hadn't said it.

I knew that I didn't deserve her. But I thank the moon goddess that she chose to stay with me.

Raph stands again and looks me directly in my eyes which surprised me alittle. He seemed conflicted.

"I'll come back and report to you after I've settled in the soldiers." I nod. He wouldn't ever be completely honest with himself or anyone else. He had always kept everyone at arms length..

But with Freya..I saw her chip away at his walls.

"We will be here waiting." Raph bows his head respectfully and leaves the room. I curl closer around Freya and allow myself to relax next to her. She sighs in her sleep. I was glad that she was sleeping.

I close my eyes and listen to her heartbeat. It was beating a little faster than normal but it seemed like that was okay because she was pumping more blood through her body with her growing another person inside of her. Her breathing was deep and even. I found myself matching her breathing. I hadn't even realized that I was tired. But laying here with her exhaustion washed over me.
