Knight Marion Kirscient is sent by King Agis to find the dragon who killed his heir and have the creature pay for its crime. But when the elf gets to the dragon's lair, they find it empty, save for the presumed dead prince, who they rescue from captivity. They don't know that Prince Eris Magan is actually the dragon, though he is reluctant to say anything about his natural ability.
