2 You, Pervert!

I flattered one of my lushes with wary before I shot open both. The pervert had caught me and was facing me with a cold expression. I couldn't spot his eyes earlier, but now I had the great angle of his flawless face. He had blue orbs, sharp and defined features, and the smoothest skin I had ever seen, almost glowy. Sorry, Alice.

The scar on his eyebrow did nothing to mar his mesmerizing beauty.

First, a man had been this close to me in my life, let alone touched me. But now, I was pressed against this dashing man's solid chest as his arm muscles brushed my knee pits.

"Not cool," he clicked his tongue, shaking his head before he let me go.

"Ouch!" I grumbled as I landed on my ass, "That's not how it was supposed to go." I mumbled, but it looked like he caught on to it.

"And how was it supposed to go?"

I stood up and pursed my lips in antipathy. How tall was this virile creature? I could barely see the light behind him. But despite the humiliation I went through seconds ago, I didn't back away to fuel his ego.

My neck hurt, though.

"You are doing that again." He said, half-heartedly flashing me his pearly whites.

"Doing what?"

"Eye-raping me."

"Pft…Please! I have seen a better scene."

A mischievous smirk played on his lips as he shoved his hands in the pockets. He could at least bend down a bit, but I was sure he reveled in the size difference between us.

"For example?"

"For example…" I averted my gaze from his sinister eyes. This man had an intense and intimidating aura around him. I wished I had the same power, but it wasn't because of his status. Even as a peasant, he would have been this terrifying and beguiling, "For example, the dragon king!"

"Hm…"

Why was he grinning like a Cheshire cat? Tsk, the last generation had lost it.

"I bet he is." He responded as he seemed to be pondering.

"Yes!" I lifted my nose in triumph, "He is just gorgeous, and you don't even stand a chance against him!"

"Is that so?"

He flashed me his seductive blue orbs again as his lips turned upwards in a lopsided smile.

"Yep. Now I have more important business to attend."

I turned around but felt almost lifted from the ground as the stranger tugged on my hood.

"You jerk!"

"Who are you?" He whispered into my ear with a chilling voice. His hot breath was fanning my ear shell, and I shuddered.

I wriggled in his grasp, and he freed me. Then I turned to face him again and glared at him.

"I'm the princess, you jerk!"

"Oh." His sodalite eyes shimmered with playfulness before he parted his plump lips, "What a naughty princess you are."

I exclaimed and darted my tongue out at him before retorting, "You are to talk? You almost explained the whole freaking biology to me."

The man threw his head back and let out a chuckle that vibrated through me and had me shivering.

I was sure I was reddening like a tomato.

"Now, look, princess. If even a word slips those pretty lips of yours," he bent down at my eye level, and I gulped, "you will pay the price." His profound orbs bore into mine to imprint his words in my mind. His gaze shifted from my left to the right eye, while his features stayed unmoved, unfazed.

"I would rather die than reveal something so disgusting!" I snapped at him, raising to my tiptoes.

I clenched my jaw as I directed my green orbs at his blue ones. As always, he found the best moment to smirk, and I stomped off from that idiotic man.

Fudgsticles! I was late to meet the dragon king! Everyone would have gathered in the throne hall already.

"What a drag!"

***

"Where have you been?" My sister nudged me as I joined her in the crowd who had circled the throne, where our father, king, sat. She wore her unique, crimson red dress with golden stripes. Note: HUGE DRESS.

"Sheesh. Calm down, sis."

"What are you wearing you, idiot?" She snapped at me as she grabbed my arm and pushed me to the side to scrutinize my outfit.

"I know, right! I fell from the tree."

"You fell from the TREE?"

No comments on details.

She looked flabbergasted as she scowled at me with wide eyes and a gaping mouth.

"Alice, only you are inquiring. That's not how conversation works."

"You dumbass!"

She tried to slap my head, but I was faster to grab her wrist. Alice gasped but soon relaxed as she reconsidered that I must have been more capable than her as her guard.

"Okay, okay. Let go."

With an intense glare, I did as she ordered me, and I sighed.

One day I would break free out of this stupid link. Destiny. I didn't believe in it! I would become the Goddess and change this noxious system!

"Rebel! Rebel!"

I was snapped out of my grandiose plans as Alice's tender voice poured into me.

"I have to leave for a bit. Cover me, okay?"

"You were bugging me about not being on time, and now you are leaving in the middle of the ceremony?"

"Oh! Please, Rebel! You know I have been waiting for this moment my whole life," she beseeched me with shiny eyes and clutched her hands together, her head tilted in an attempt to come out as cute.

Please! I had used all the techniques, and nothing could affect me. I stared at her emotionless and then yawned.

"Rebel! Please! You are such a rascal! I want to readjust my dress. My fiance is the most outstanding man in the whole world, and I want to look impeccable!"

I don't want to break it down to you, sis, but twenty minutes ago, I saw the man far better looking than that fiance of yours.

His black hair, in contrast with his pale skin and blue burning orbs, flooded my eyes. I wished I had a chance to be the subject of his attention and admiration.

I sighed and nodded at my sister, who skipped in joy and kissed my cheek hastily before she rushed to the back entrance of the hall.

Of course, nobody spotted her in the crowd as they babbled about the fabulous wedding and the most influential figure showing up in our kingdom.

"He is here!"

The girl's shrill shout silenced the whole room before it exploded in clamor and murmurs. Why was I here? Wasn't the dragon king enough guardian for my sister?

I craned my neck to see the prominent dragon king.

"Rebel!" Someone called out for me as I felt them jerking my arm. I let them inch towards me as I assumed the owner of the voice.

"Sophie?"

I faced my stepmother's frenzy expression as her eyes sparkled and sweat beads covered her forehead.

"What are you wearing?"

"And here we go again. Be grateful I'm not nude. It's the easiest resolve after all."

"You little," she hissed at me and pinched my outer arm, making me yelp.

"Hey, I'm sensitive there! I've just trained!"

My triceps burned like hell, and she added that sting. Evil witch!

"I'll deal with you later. Where is your sister?"

"Shitting as far as I'm concerned."

"Be quiet, you goon! You boorish, unrespectful girl!"

"Okay, okay. Quite down." I shushed her as I sensed her temper worsening.

"Why is…Ah!"

I followed her appalled eyes and what I saw! Ruby, my pup!

"Ruby! Ruby!" Crouching, I whisper-yelled at her but in vain.

I was left with no other choice but to chase her. How did she come out of my room? Damn! Of course, that stupid Sophie left the door open.

"What a drag!"

I sensed the crowd dividing into two columns and clearing the space between them. At last, the recognition I deserved. I dashed towards the red-furred pup that started wagging her tail.

"Ruby!" I called out to my silly pup.

"Seize her!"

I heard, and my eyes shot open as I detected the guards inching towards me. One of them attempted to get ahold of my arm, but I twisted his hand and threw him on the ground. Another one neared me, and I rolled to the side, then held his leg and knocked him down.

"Ruby!" I shouted at my pet as I stood on my feet but was halted when the near twenty men surrounded me.

"Return to your places!"

Suddenly, I heard an all too familiar melodic but rumbling tone, and my body tremored. I shot my head towards the source of the voice but was left dumbstruck as I recognized the sturdy, devilishly handsome man before me.

"You, pervert!" I shouted at him but instantly regretted it when immense pain surged through me.
