Aaron stood alone in the snow-covered clearing, the biting cold seeping into his bones. An eerie sense of foreboding engulfed him. The silence was broken only by the faint sound of a whoosh, followed by a sharp zip past his ear.

His heart raced as he witnessed something slender and pointed embed itself with a resounding thunk into the ancient tree beside him. Drawing closer, he noticed with a shiver that it was an arrow, a sinister message from his pursuers.

Panic gripped him, and he swiftly sought refuge in the unforgiving tangle of thorny brambles of Terewell thicket, each prickly branch scraping over his fur, but never puncturing him.

Desperate to evade the wrathful villagers, he darted through the undergrowth, narrowly avoiding a barrage of arrows aimed at his fleeing form.
