Feeling anxious about Faye's sudden outburst, Sterling wearily extended his hand, hoping to make contact and soothe her. He concentrated on the sound of her rapid breathing.

She glared at him. Her beautiful blue eyes had lost their spark. They were now filled with hatred and murderous intent. He had never seen her display such a sharp and heated look.

It stunned Sterling to see her this way. He slowly approached her. "Faye?" He called to her, but received no reaction.

Instead, he saw her hands go under her waist sash and tightly grip something inside of it.

Sterling halted his advance. He could see a fierce expression cross her face. Her stance was defensive, like a warrior's. As if she was ready to fight for her life.

He held up his hands in a surrendering gesture, "It's fine Faye, I will not hurt you, but please…Give me the dagger."
