122 The Hatred

"OTIS!!!" Edna shouted frantically.

The girl pushed Violet's body out of her way. All the dragons who were cheering with joy looked back.

With limping steps, Edna almost fell to the ground but she managed to get up and run again towards Otis who was full of blood to the core.

"What are you doing!!!" Edna shouted trying to push away the dragons in front of her.

The festive atmosphere turned tense. Everything suddenly became silent. Only the groans of Otis laid half conscious on the ground could be heard. None of the dragons there moved. Several elders before her stood towering in human form and some were in dragon form.

They stared at Edna with their piercing eyes.

The girl's breath caught when she saw a whip full of blood held by one of them. Edna fell to her knees in front of Otis. His entire face and back were covered in blood.

"Otis! What did they do to you! Otis wake up! Don't leave me, Otis!"

Edna touched Otis' face in a panic.

"Who brought humans in!?"
