Elle munched the insides of her cheeks, saying nothing as she feel her heart overwhelmed by emotions hearing the words Magnus whispered to her ears. She looked at him carefully and showed a gentler expression, "You also make me happy."

"I do?" The person to ask the question was Magnus. He looked taken aback hearing her praise as if believing he wouldn't be able to make her feel happy.

Elle nodded her head and was confused to his baffled expression, "Not only have you saved me through so many times of danger you always have me smile and laugh. I like that in a person."

"Only in a person? Not a man?" Magnus's words were as gentle as the wind as he whispered.
