Do you like dogs?

Paige's wakes up with a cute cupcake wrapped around her. She had better get herself ready then wake him so he can be up and ready for his daddy coming home she thought. He's so adorable she noticed he purrs in his sleep and is glad he's comfortable around her now to sleep peacefully.

Paige goes to do her morning routine and gets dressed in her usual black skinny jeans and t-shirt combo, she adds a flick of eyeliner and she's good to go. Maybe she will go down and sort breakfast and then come back up to wake her cupcake, he was sleeping so peacefully she didn't want to disturb him.

She goes downstairs and into the kitchen and she noticed that the cinnamon rolls are gone and there are only two scones left. Jaxson must have been more hungry than she thought. She gets herself busy making blueberry and chocolate pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon. When she heard cupcake coming downstairs she looked up and smiled before turning to flip the last pancake.

"Morning sweetie can you grab the orange juice from the fridge please".

"Sure beautiful". Jaxson smiled at her nickname she just called him.

Turning around she sees Jaxson in a black shirt and black waistcoat. He is so handsome, I mean for my cupcakes uncle and all. I'm so done with men though she thought.

"Sorry I thought you were cupcake. I should go and get him up for his dad coming in. He has already texted saying he's on the road home". Paige scrambles to exit the kitchen.

"Don't be sorry sweetie is fine and Charlie is already up he smelt breakfast so he's just getting his clothes on. So do you like to cook? Sorry I ate most of the breakfast last night". Jaxson said as he sat at the table.

"No as long as you enjoyed them. I love to cook I am a bit of a feeder it relaxes me and makes me think of home. I'm not half the cook my nanny is, but she says I'm getting there. Besides it's good to be allowed... u mean able to cook again. You know with moving and all. sorry, I'm rambling".

"No, I'd like to know more please".

He moves a chair asking Paige to sit beside him. She's unsure that she wants to get that close to anyone but her cupcake at the moment. As she is deciding and bringing the last batch of pancakes to the table her cupcake sorts out her dilemma by sitting on the seat Jaxson had just pulled out for her. Thank god for that she thought.

"Morning cupcake". Paige smiles at his adorable fluffy head.

"Morning pretty sister, thanks for the pancakes". Cupcake smiles brightly.

"No problem, had to make something as someone decided to eat all our treats we made last night". Jaxson coughs n looks down. It's cute so she just smiled.

"Bad uncle I worked hard on those". Cupcake scolded his uncle.

"Alright I'm sorry, but at least we got these tasty pancakes instead". Jaxson replied as he took a helped pile of pancakes on his plate.

"Mmm your forgiven. Just don't steal anything else my pretty sister makes". Goddess, she knew she needed to change the subject quick before they fight.

"Cupcake do you know that you purr when you sleep, it's adorable." Paige casually mentions.

Clank Clank

They drop their cutlery and Jaxson quickly coughs.

"Pretty sister my spirit animal is a wolf, what is yours?" Cupcake replies.

"Maybe a unicorn seeing as they are pretty cool eh". Paige's smiles at the light-hearted conversation.

"So pretty sister do you like dogs?". Cupcake asks thinking of his wolf. Would his pretty sister still like him as a wolf he wondered?

"Mmm small ones, like you, that purr in their sleep are cute but large or big ones no definitely no". Paige ruffles cupcakes fluffy head.

"Mmm, pretty sister so if I'm a wolf cub and grow into a big wolf would you still love me?". Both are looking at her waiting for an answer.

What's with all the weird questions today and the looks between the two of them she thought. She supposed she just has to answer his questions as he's just a kid it's not like he is a wolf or anything she thought. Her past is different she had heard there are no wolves here.

"Of course, I'll like that wolf because it is you anything else is a no". Paige smiled again at his worried face.

"Yeah, ok now you better keep your word".

Charlie keeps eating but Jaxson looks a bit lost in thought. She was just about to ask if he was ok when the door clacks open.

"Daddy's back come give me love". Axel stands there at the kitchen door with his arms open wide.

"Cant daddy pancakes and bacon are calling me". Cupcake replies ignoring his dad.

Aww, Axel looks a bit sad Paige thought.

"Welcome back, here come as sit and eat you must be tired". Paige brings him to the table and fills his plate, making Jaxson a bit jealous.

"At least someone loves me". She heard a growl but then it was gone before she can look up. Strange she thought.

They all finish up and Paige packs up and leaves Axel's house. Axel has the day off and he and Charlie have plans so Paige is free today. Paige says her goodbyes and leaves in her car. For Paige, it was hard leaving her cupcake and he did hold onto my leg but she promised him next time she would take him to the zoo so the bribery worked.

Meanwhile back in the house

"So any progress?." Axel asked.

"No I feel all tongue-tied and I missed out with Charlie coming in the room and last night I ate my feelings as I was too nervous to talk. I'd slept in so I missed helping her make breakfast. I mean what do I say, She says she doesn't even like big dogs how am I supposed to say hey I'm a wolf and alpha at that and your my mate my love and Luna. She would run a mile". Jaxson sighed.

"Yeah ok I agree. So then start slow keep texting her then ask her on a date? See what she says". Axel tries to encourage his brother.

"Ok, I'll try that first". Jaxson has hope again and gets out his phone to look at the pictures she sent him all weekend.
