2 This is why we call him General

He shot up and ran out of his tent, at this point the recruits had retired to their own tents, seeing this Feng Xian ran to Commander Zhao's tent. "Sir there are beasts to the east of us!" Feng Xian bellowed as he barged into the tent.

"How do you know this?" The Commander asked.

"I can hear them sir, to the east. Their shuffling in the bushes." Feng Xian explained

"Well boy, we best take up arms and prepare for battle!" The Commander exclaimed in an adrenaline fueled battle cry, donning his helmet as he goes to pick up his shield and spear. "Rush out. Inform the guards on duty!" Commander Zhao ordered.

Feng Xian ran out of the tent and straight to the soldier on watch. "Prepare... for a... battle... Commanders Zhao's orders." Feng Xian heaved as he tried to relay the order, but by this point a huge direwolf jumped out from behind one the tents, attacking the soldier. The soldier panicked and screamed as the direwolf tore into him. "Help... Ahhh... Ack." The soldier said to Feng Xian with tears welling up in his eyes, and blood trickling from his mouth. Feng Xian's instincts kicked in, bringing out his spear from his interspatial ring, with rage fueling his actions he thrusted into the direwolf's head.

The screech of the direwolf could not be heard over the cry of the spear, as it thrusted into the direwolfs head. The direwolf burst into flames lighting up the night like raging bonfire, and the smell of scorching skin and burning hair assaulted Feng Xian's nose. The cry of the spear alerted the other soldiers, as they funneled to the noise they saw Feng Xian holding a dying soldier. "What happened." Commander Zhao asked.

"A direwolf jump out from behind the tent, as I got here. I thought it would be best to stay by his side, so he didn't feel lonely as his soul left this forsaken place." Feng Xian spoke with a croaky voice, as if trying to hold back the pain he felt. "If I got here just a few seconds sooner. I could of saved him." Feng Xian exclaimed under his breath as he closed his eyes to wish the soldier a safe journey to the after-life.

"Don't put that on yourself boy, it wasn't your fault he died. At least Rei knows he was avenged. Now stand proud and fight, so something like this doesn't happen to another." Commander Zhao patted Feng Xian's shoulder and encouraged him. Feng Xian stood up slowly bring his spear with him, the rage building in his eye's, the veins bulging on his arms signaled to everyone not to get in his way. The angry was not for the soldier he did not know, but for reason that he knew he could have saved him.

As Commander Zhao saw Feng Xian walk into the the field he could feel the tension build, more and more direwolfs could been seen stepping out of the tree line, with their huge builds and massive claws. Their eyes glowed a faint red, their teeth could be seen glimmering in the moonlight, as they growled at the approaching figure. Feng Xian roared at the line of direwolfs, as he prepared to rushing and kill all in his way.

"What is this? What is going on?" General Yin bellowed as he stood out of his tent.

"Sir, the boy has gone insane with rage and blood-lust. He stands to fight a line of forty to fifty direwolfs by himself." Commander Zhao bawled with fear in his heart. "What?" The General was confused. "Tell what happened now." He ordered the Commander.

Zhao spoke of what happened in a hurried motion trying to finish as quick as possible. After the General heard what happened, he rushed into his tent and grabbed his glaive, and ran to the field in which Feng Xian stood.

Arriving to late they saw Feng Xian running into a group of direwolfs alone, bursting one into flame with his spear, and then spinning and cutting one in the eyes with the tip. A huge claw slashed down onto Feng Xian back "Ahhh...." Xian roar as he turned and rolled away from the one attacking. By this point he had been surrounded by nine direwolfs, watching while taking small steps to avoid each of them, keeping the spear pointed at the one he stared at. One lunged at Xian aiming to tare him limb from limb, Feng Xian raised his spear in time skewering the direwolf and bring it to the ground. Reefing the spear from the dead beast while glaring at the others. More started to hoard around Xian with their teeth bared at his growling, wanting to kill him.

"Ahhh..." General Yin let out at battle cry as he ran head first into the masses, his glaive slicing one in half with an overhead swing, then spinning disemboweling three. He continues killing his way to Feng Xian, beheading, gutting, slicing, and bashing without fault in his movements. Corpses lay where ever he ran, by the time he got to Feng Xian his armor was covered in blood, his glaive dyed in a deep crimson. Out of the hoard of direwolfs only twenty or so remain, "Are you alright boy?" The General asked. Feng Xian looked at him, dropping his spear and falling to the ground with exhaustion, around him lie five dead direwolf and a few piles of ash. By this point the other soldier had woken up and had arrived at the field, they stared as General Yin slaughtered the remaining direwolfs, as if he were dancing in the moonlight. His glaive looking like it bends around his foe to attack vitals, the air filled with dust from him spinning on the spot, bringing his glaive around with him. The last leaped towards him, he bent down bringing his glaive through it, slicing it from nose to tail in half and then stood there as blood covered him.

The soldiers and recruits alike were speechless in awe and fear. "This is why we call him General." Commander Zhao exclaimed as he stood in amazement, and watched the General pick Feng Xian up over his shoulder and walked towards the crowd. "See to it his wounds are tended to and he's washed clean." General Yin ordered as he passed Feng Xian to two soldiers, the crowd splitting as he walked through, all of them staring in shock.

General Yin walked into his tent and picked up a rag wiping his face of blood, then started to clean his glaive, "A man is only as good as his weapon." The General said as Commander Zhao walked in seeing him cleaning his glaive. "That doesn't apply to you, in all the years I've been in service with you, what ever you pick up becomes a weapon of death, wouldn't you say Reaper Yin. I know what happened back at East Cliffs, I was just a foot-soldier then. Seeing you fight toe to toe with a Behemoth, grabbing weapons from the ground whether it be enemies or allies, you fought with them like they were an extension of yourself, killing all the demons around while still holding that beast back." Commander Zhao replied.

"Prepare a set of armor for him, and see to it that his name is branded on the front." General Yin ordered Zhao. "And the unit sir?" Commander Zhao asked. General Yin grabbed a piece of paper dripping blood on the stack and wrote a letter then handed to Zhao. "Sir, are you sure?" Commander Zhao asked in a fearful voice.

"Yes." Yin replied in a humble voice then motioned for Zhao to leave.

Leaving without question Commander Zhao walked towards Feng Xian tent. "Will he be alright?" The Commander asked the doctor. "Yes, he's just exhausted, he'll need to sleep while till we get to Vail." The doctor explained then left. Commander Zhao placed the letter on him and left, seeing he was alright Commander Zhao thought there was no point standing over him.

"Yer. Why not." Feng Xian replied to the system as he slept.

[ System Commands :

Stat window - Opens the stat window, showing the stats, skills and level of the owner.

Quest log - Opens the quest log, showing a list of the current quest. Also where you receive your quest rewards.

Profession list - Opens the profession list and shows the profession names and level.

Lucky Draw - Opens the lucky draw, pulling out nine cards for the owner to choose three from.

Mini-Map - Hides and reveals the mini-map ( also able to open a large map in later levels. )

Crafting - Opens the crafting menu ( this is where all you profession recipes will be, also all of your workstations. )

Tutorial (can only be preformed while asleep) ]

As the system finish the tutorial Feng Xian fell into a deep sleep.
