1 chapter 1: First Campaign

After graduation from knight academy luis was asked general Dinn to be his advisor in his mission to capture a greenhill city belong to the xing empire from the east. General Dinn is old comrade of his father on the battlefield. He was strong and hot tempred general, he is strongest general in Iscalio empire in terms of raw strength and skill. unfortunately general Dinn also known as a "buffon" general because his lack of strategy.

Greenhill city were the main stronghold for xing empire hence as long the castle still stand Iscalio army cannot invade capital of xing. The city also fortified with 30 meters wall and iron gate. Iscalio has besieged this city so many times but none of that attempt succeded.

This time Iscalia Empire deploy 25.000 army to capture greenhill city with estimated 50.000 population and roughly 15.000 soldier.

"Hey do you think we can actually take greenhill city with this army?" general dinn asked while riding on his horse.

well i don't know about that... in military manual you need 3 times amount of army in order to siege a city. Sieging greenhill city with 25.000 army is simply reckless decision, we will probably wiped out before we can breach the wall. said one of the liutenant

"bwahahaha!!! as expected of the retarded emperor, but if we can really capture greenhill city our name will spread across the continent. After all greenhill city also known as impregnable fortress, capturing that city with only 25.000 army can be counted as miraculous feat."

what do you think little Luis? do you have any way to capture that city?

i do have a way general, altough we can't directly siege greenhill city we can take first step to take down the surrounding small city in quick succession. Their main force gathered at greenhill city so the surrounding small city should have little army left. We can split our army into 5000 man unit each to take 10 small city. In addition please give instruction to the soldier to take the entire food in place that we already conquered and take ordinary people as a hostage.

general dinn frowned after hearing my plan
