1 The Godly Expert

In the vast and limitless expanse of mist and snow, the wind swirled and collided in a violent maelstrom. Subzero temperatures chilled one's bones to a freezing cold temperature, as if it would turn even one's very soul into nothing but ice.

This was the Heavenly Snow Realm, within the myriad dimensions of the Realm of the Celestials. It was a bleak and hopeless land of endless, blinding white snow. From one year to the next, there was nothing but desolate snow, and the bitter cold.

Within this current, a shimmering silhouette bloomed into existence, and in the next second, an elderly being in a royal red dress emerged.

The elder's aura was like that of an injured tiger. His raven-black hair flowed like a river of the purest ink. Every inch of his body exuded an aura of an expert. An expert which the world could not afford to provoke at any cost.

In this desolate wasteland, it was as if the most ferocious beast has arrived. The only flaw on his otherwise perfect appearance was an unending stream of bright red blood that gushed down from his body, and a heavy sword stabbed at his back.

That aura began to fade, and the elder spat out a mouthful of blood – it was as if his life force was ending with insignificant amount of vitality. Even in this condition, the elder didn't appear worried, and instead a clam demeanor could be observed. It appeared as if he had seen everything in this world, and cared about nothing except for revenge.

"Lan Shi" A male's voice resounded clearly in the crisp air, and a shining black silhouette flew from the cave behind elder's body and condensed into the shape of a frantic young man. The black-clothed man had an outstanding appearance that was incomparably handsome. Only, both his pupils were a vivid blood-red, which lent him a somewhat savage appearance. He looked at Lan Shi and lightly smiled, "Your Highness, we meet again."

Lan Shi was eminently calm and resolute. Although he had expected his enemies to be pursuing him, he hadn't expected them to catch up so quickly.

The man continued, "Your Highness, I apologize for the events having come this far. It's truly regrettable that this sacred World has been destroyed. As for that, I had no choice, as I was helplessly forced to do so.

For existences such as you and I, with our cultivations, there's nothing in this world that is beyond our reach; the only thing that you and I desire is to reach the pinnacle of power, and to be eternal existences.

I would like to request your Highness to hand over the Divine heaven's path. In return, I will grant you a swift death. How about it?"

Lan shi began to revolve the supernatural divine power within herself. He coldly said, "Cease your meaningless words. Zhou brat , you may have destroyed my Sacred World, but if you want to kill me, then you'll have to pay the blood price."

"Is that so? Then I'll have to give it a try." The man called Zhou seemed disinterested. His hands twisted together, forming countless seals that would freeze the void within a 10 mile radius. But at this moment, his expression changed. A terrifying power seemed to be condensing within Lan Shi's palm, causing him to feel a soul-trembling fear from the core of his very being.

This is…..

Zhou's heart raced, and his seal-forming patterns changed. He sensed a life or death crisis heading towards him.

The surroundings went wild in that instant. A massive vortex of energy appeared above the palms of Lan Shi.

"Humanity has encountered it's biggest danger. With a soul of a trashy 13 year old boy left in this world, I hope humanity can continue to exist by starting all over. As a final sacrifice to this world, with my soul as a guide, let me borrow the power of a True Celestial an transport him to a new world ! Soul Extinction! Space Teleport!"

Lan Shi calmly and coldly spoke these words. In the next moment, his body was transformed into dazzling specks of starlight. His soul and consciousness were turned into streams of light that were completely absorbed into the surroundings and a golden assimilation of light, which appeared like a boy, teleported into thin space.

It was as if a star itself had exploded, and all of the space around was like a thin slip of paper that was being torn apart. The 10,00,00,00,000 powerhouses of the Realm of the Upper World who had just arrived in this world to kill Lan shi, only to come face to face with a life or death crisis. Those that had the ability to pass through worlds tried to escape through the endless void. But it was too late. All of the surrounding space was instantly dismantled, and the resulting massive storm sucked them all in like scraps of paper. Their bodies were turned into dust that vanished, and their souls were shattered into fragments within that storm before being absorbed into the void.

An enormous swath of space of the Heavenly Snow Realm had been twisted into an utter dead zone. This zone was flooded with space storms that were capable of destroying anything and everything.

.........

Zhang Wei suddenly woke up. His right hand instinctively slapped the ground, intending to jump up even before his eyes were open. This was a dangerous place where life and death was but a hair's breadth away.

As he began to lift his body, suddenly his legs felt weak and was no longer able to support the weight of his body. Peng! He fell back down to the ground.

Zhang Wei fell into a state of extreme shock. What is going on? He then realized that his body was actually lying in the middle of a forest. He was bleeding profusely , and he had been stabbed in his stomach. The intense pain caused him to roar so loudly that the he got attention of a nearby leopard.

Shit. What happened? Shouldn't I be in the middle of a theft? How did I end up in forest? Zhang Wei's mind ran back to his memories, or more precisely … the last and the only memory he could recall in his past life.

....

Zhang Wei was considered as a trash among the trash in his previous life. Many of the times , he was bullied by children of his age. Also , he did not have any natural innate talent , and thus was unfit for being a cultivator. He was average looking, so courting any rich girl was literally out of question.

In addition to this , he hailed from a simple background. His father had died 6 years ago, serving as a soldier in a war, while his mother was a peasant. In name of a house , he had just a single room which could collapse anytime , provided as a compensation by the native General.

Frustrated by his life , he decided to resort to robbery to meet his family end. He decided to start his life as a thief by robbing his neighbour. In the midnight , as soon as he left his home, he saw every living being was being turned into dust. His mother , kins , relatives , enemies all transforming into dust in front of his very eyes. He realized that he was dead too, but for some reason , he regained his consciousness for a breath, and his soul dissipated. When he woke up , he had transmigrated into this body. He was stabbed and was bleeding profusely. And at such a bad timing , he had gathered the attention of a leopard ..

His mind was in a disarray. He practically had no strength to resist the leopard, who was advancing step by step. When the leopard was few steps away, ready to devour Zhang Wei, an arrow head bruised past his body and hit the vital organ of the leopard. The leopard who seemed to have killed Zhang Wei was now lying in front of him, dead. His senses returned and thanked the person in his mind who appeared out of nowhere to save him. He turned to have a look at the youth when fear struck in his mind ...

DANGER....
