1 A Normal Day

Well as normal as it gets any way... Arrenette finally done with her work day of going house to house to see what it was she could do to scrounge up some money for the groceries for the next day. she wasnt poor but did this for the extra help it gave her mother and her no good father who sits and sleeps in his chair all day and treats her and her mother like dirt. Arrenette was walking by the river this day to go see if she could spot and any good berry bushes when the village boys decided to push her into the river soaking her from head to toe. She sat there glaring at them cursing them in her head, noticing her hand on a rock she clutches it about to throw it when it warms her palm making her stop what she was doing and looked at the mysterious rock. it wasnt too pretty or stood out from the others but it had a life to it that she couldn't ignore. She forgot about the boys and ran home with the rock as fast as she could. Once there she didnt say anything to anyone just went to her loft took the rock out and studied it closely. she saw green specks with red and yellow like viens going through the rock but so tiny if you weren't looking for it youd never see it. it seemed hard as stone but had a hollow sound to it when she taped it with her fingers not knowing what to do with it she decided to go to bed and look at it more the next day. But she was in for a rude awakening.
