18 Chapter 18

"Athar! Bring me that Warlord!"

"As you wish, my lord."

I knew that it will be hard, but to be so bloody and just looking at the mountains of corpses surrounding our cave was enough for a normal person to break and run in fear. The only thing that makes my undead resist is their determination to protect their king from any harm.

As for why did I send Athar to capture the Warlord? I want to see if I can "eat" the soul of a Legendary Lord and maybe get his strength and skills.

And on top of that, I really need some items to help with the regeneration of my mana points, after all, I can't just spend all of it and then try to fight alone.

While I was fighting alongside my Nehekhara Warriors, Athar and ten mummies wreak havoc in their path. Unfortunately for the goblins, these 11 mummies were too strong for them to even injure and the only one that could kill one was their Warlord.

Seeing his goblins being smashed and sliced by my mummies, the Warlord and his disgusting pet rushed towards them. Bad move, I could say, as the goblin was clearly a mage or a shaman in this case and as every single gamer knows, mages aren't good in close combat.

Orcs, goblins, rats, or monsters, all of them know who the true ruler of the night goblins is.

Along with his immense intellect and powerful magical staff, Skarsnik is accompanied by a Great Cave Squig named Gobbla. Gobbla is an enormous, very smelly, and mindlessly vicious creature that Skarsnik had saved from death when it was a mere Squigling.

When he saw his minions being slaughter by that undead army, he and his loyal Squig rushed towards the frontlines.

As a respected goblin shaman and Warlord, Skarsnik fired tens of magic bolts imbued with poison into the undead shield wall which barely even damage the undead. It's a known fact that poison doesn't work against the undead and the only thing that may damage them was the impact of his magic bolts.

But his other spells were killing and weakening the undead easier than he thought.

Before he could hit the first shield wall, ten mummies pierced his Squig with their swords, while another five were surrounding him, ready to take his life in case he would make a move.

Athar looked at the dying Squig and with a quick slash, he cut the horrifying creature in two, killing the abomination for good.

Skarsnik looked at his now-dead companion and his hate for these undead things grows even bigger than before.

Unfortunately for him, his enemy was stronger than he thought and even if his army was overwhelming the undead, the goblins and the spiders were getting exhausted as the fight continue, and sooner they will break and run for their lives.

But who would have thought that the Night Goblin Warlord wasn't actually a shaman? Just as Athar was about to grab the not-so-tiny goblin by his throat, Skarsnik slashed the hand that was approaching him and with another quick attack, he pierced the head of one of my mummies, killing the poor fellow with that attack.

Even though he managed to injure one mummy and kill another, the simple fact that he was outnumbered by undead slightly weaker than him, but even he manages to kill all of them, the goblin will be too injured to fight anymore and will soon succumb to his wounds.

The goblin was surrounded after three more attacks and three dead mummies, and his gaze was fiercely fixed on the mummies.

As the goblin prepared to fight to the death, a shadow appeared from behind the undead frontline and struck the Warlord in the chest.

When Athar looked at the Night Goblin Warlord, he saw the green creature impaled in the ground, a Naginata pierced his chest. When Athar saw his King's familiar weapon, he walked over to the goblin and smirked at him.

Meanwhile, I was watching the fight and noticed that my mummies were having some difficulties dealing with the Legendary Lord, so I decided to assist them. However, before I could arrive, four of my mummies were killed and Athar was injured, which made me realize that even though they are my soldiers, they are still individual beings with desires and wishes, and at that moment their desire was to slay the Legendary Lord and get recognized for their work.

With how little MP I had left, I imbued myself with [Djaf's Incantation of Cursed Blades] which eat up 5k of my remaining 6.5k MP, and throw my Naginata right towards the night goblin lord.

With the most dangerous enemy out of the fight, I keep summoning more and more skeleton soldiers to hold the line while I was walking towards the weak and injured Legendary Lord(LL in case I will use it somewhere in the story)

Arriving before the sorry-ass state of my enemy, I gaze at my loyal mummies and saw Athar picking his left arm from the ground.

"Would that make you weaker, Athar?"

"No, my lord. It will be reattached when I will return to our space, so you don't have to worry about it."

"That's good. Then, why don't we take a look at our enemy general."

Looking at the goblin Warlord, I saw him hatefully looking at me while trying to smile. Ugliest motherfucker I saw in my entire life. Grabbing the handle of my Naginata, I took it back from the body of the goblin, earning him more pain and shorter life than before.

I signaled Athar to take the soul of the Warlord out of his body and when I saw the golden soul of a Legendary Lord, something inside me whispered to me to devour it and without even realizing what I did, I grabbed the soul and devour it.

As my soul was stronger than the majority of the creatures and being in my world, not to mention, that I was a master of souls with an army of the undead under his command, I easily devour the soul of the goblin gaining quite a good harvest.

[Congratulations host for devouring your first Legendary Soul, thus increasing your stats to the same level as the Warlord]

[Congratulations host for earning the passive buff for your army: *Poison attacks – your soldiers will deal poison damage to their enemies and they will be immune to poison

*Masters of Ambushing – You can have your army ambush your target or summon them from bellow or behind the enemy thus increasing your chances of winning the fight]

I quickly looked at my status and to be fair, I was shocked by how much it changed.

[Name: Yoshida Haru

Race: Blessed Human (In the right path to evolve into a Blessed Human King or in the host case, a Blessed Tomb King)

Faction: None Officially (Anteiku/Root)

Level: 60 –Tomb King /50 – Warrior-Monk

HP: 10800

MP: 35000 (Don't even calculate, I'm too lazy right now to look up for all of the bonuses and perks that boosted the MP, but if anyone really calculates it and writes the correct amount in the comments, I will be grateful for your hard work and you will earn a fresh hot meat bun and a sexy picture of Madara, Idk why I have that in my laptop)

Money: 800 million yen

STR: 2700

VIT: 2700

DEX: 2500

INT: 3500

WIS: 3000

LUK: 300

Stats Points: 550]

Almost High-class with all of my stats other than luck and having my INT and WIS so high it's quite a good thing as I will be able to spam the shit out of my summon undead and spells. I really want to see the faces of those devils when I will return to my world.

After I stop looking at my stats, I turned my head towards the now dead Legendary Lord, and before I could pick the staff that he held, one of my mummies kneeled in front of me with the staff in its hands.

"Thank you, you can get up and good job for fighting against a Legendary Lord and keeping him away from our frontline."

Taking the staff out of the hands of my loyal mummy, I used [Observe] on it to see how good it was.

[Skarsnik's Prodder - Skarsnik's pointed staff, pulsating with magical energy, channels the might of Gork (or Mork) to lance out with weird, terrifying power.

*Ability: Skarsnik's Prodder-shots magical bolts imbued with poison and armor-piercing properties

*Enables magical attacks for the owner of the item

* Increase the melee attack: +6%

*Income from post-battle loot: +10%]

Meh, it's good, but I don't really use a staff to fight, but it can be useful if I ever get myself a mage and with this item, I could earn some affection or respect with them.

After we massacred all of the goblins, I looked at the next item that I found.

[ID-Create – Greenskins Valley – a valley filled with Orcs camps, strongholds, villages, or raiding parties]

Slowly but surely I will grow stronger than those pesky devils and then I would be able to enjoy my life without fearing that some dead brain idiot would try to fight me over some minor things like a refusal of becoming a slave to a devil or face slapping a devil or beating the shit out of a devil…

Two hours later, I returned to the world of Naruto and the first thing that I saw was a shit ton of Konoha ninjas getting their asses beaten by a pale-looking man, how was holding the Hyuga princess and the stalker of the protagonist, Hinata.

Curiously though, I didn't saw Naruto or Sasuke, which only means that those two idiots were somewhere making out or something like that as fucking hell they should be here fighting this monster of a man.

I decided to deal with the Otsutsuki man by myself as right now, I was as strong as Madara and Hashirama.

As I was walking through the tens of injured shinobis, some of them recognized me and tried to get up to help me, but with a simple hand movement and hundreds of skeleton archers, they calmed down and looked with anticipation at how I will deal with that invader.

Tonerror or Tenori or I don't remember his name eri was feeling fear for the first time in his life as he looked at me, as I was walking through the injured shinobis and smiling at him.

By the time I was just a few meters away from him, he spoke for the first time.

"Who are you? And why don't you fear me?!"

"I'm the only being in this world that would make sorry excuses like you to feel despair for fucking with the wrong people and trying to harm their friends. (Though Hinata wasn't my friend)"

I didn't even wait for him to waste more of my time and in the next second, I was in front of him with my Naginata ready to kill the man.

Grabbing Hinata from his grasp, I cut his head off, which surprised me… was he that weak or I am too bullshiting op?

I blinked once, twice, and by the third blinked, the body of that Otsutsuki hit the ground. The ninjas that tried to fight him were now looking at the dead body with some pity in their eyes.

Hey, fuckers, he was beating your asses before I showed up to resolve this situation, you better be grateful and not pity the enemy…
