1 Something worth longing

Slowly unemotionally opening his eyes, only to feel the warmth of the sunlight coming from the window hitting the side of his slightly chiseled face. He slowly sat up and looked at his not needed extravagantly decorated room. and sighed. "I live to see another day". He thought to himself. Weakly about to get up his door bursts open. "

Oh no please don't try to do that by yourself young master !" Said the old maid who's been there longer that he had been alive. Though she was old she had such childish tendencies and knew almost everything about the modern day world.

Such a polite and wise old lady who willingly helped Liang Yu since he was just an infant. "You poor thing your weaker than a toothpick, looks like I could snap you right in half". " You know you should at least try to get along with the mages and doctors you're father sends you! "

She scoffed and went to go prepare a bath for

him. Liang Yu, having that same blank expression he always has on his face, sighed and watched the old lady gather expensive oils and warm bathing water. He then looked out the open window beside him, the sunlight perfectly hitting the features of his face, light yellow eyes projecting a slight glow. He slowly lifted his hand to touch his silky black hair only to feel a wet and sticky sensation on his index finger.

He looked at his hand and realized that his head was bleeding again. The old lady who was just recently in the bathroom preparing the bath was right beside him. " Good heavens! You're bleeding!" And just as quickly as she came in she switched out his old bandage and put a new. "you're bath water is ready. " She said as she wiped the sweat off her head. "I.. I think I'm going to take a break, your maids should be in to help you shortly. " After the old lady waddled out the room he slowly got out of his bed and walked to the bathroom. He undressed and sat down inside of the warm water.

He thought to himself in silence whilst relaxing his arms on the rims of the bath. Slowly batting his long lashes and drifting off to sleep.....

. . .

. . .

He slowly opened his eyes and saw everyone surrounding him inside if the medical unit. He looked a bit confused but quickly regained his composure. "What happened? " He looked down at his slightly unbuttoned blouse, the lamp in the suddenly dark room shining on his slightly built chest from light work outs. His father calmly answered, "You fainted in the tub again. "

Liang was now getting slight disgusted and disappointed looks from his older siblings and some of his maids. His younger brother and sister ran up to the bed he was lying on. "Big bro'! " His brother Muzan said as he grabbed his arm with tears brimming the side of his eyes.

Liang looked at him with concern. Muzan Yu looks a lot like their mother who passed away when Liang was only 5 years old. Muzans small shoulders and purple eyes, his light yellow hair and his playful yet emotional personality. Muzan was very strong willed but often got worked up over small things. He would cry a lot and get flustered easily but was the most reliable person Liang knew.

"Big bro!! " **sniffle** "I thought you were gunna' die! " -BONK- Liang had lightly knocked his little brothers head. "Don't speak such nonsense Muzu. " (Muzans Nick name Liang calls him) "But big brother Li this time I really thought I was going to loose you. " He looked down to his younger sister who was staring blankly at him and back at his emotional little brother. He then Patted both their heads and whispered "There is nothing that can hurt your big bro' Li. " Liang showed a boyish grin towards his smaller siblings so only they could see. His little brother and sister were both shocked at first. To see their mostly non emotional older brother smile like that.....Muzan and His sister len smiled brightly at their older brother.

Liang's eyes widened but then he left out a soft huff and smiled. This is something he felt he needed. He needed to see someone smile. He.. longed for happiness. He then quickly looked away and returned to his same old blank expression. His siblings took that as a sign and went back the their rooms. While they did that his eldest brother Zen lee ran up to him and grabbed him by is collar. "WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN WEAK!? YOU COULD HAVE DIED!! " Zen started to violently shake Liang. Liang had the same blank expression on his face but inside he was wondering.... If his brother did indeed care for him he has a weird way of showing it.

Zen stopped violently shaking his younger brother and slowly let go of him. The maids stating at them and whispering about the scene that just occurred. Zen let out a frustrated sigh, running his head through his un natural red dyed hair. He walked towards the door and looked back sadly for a brief ten seconds, then headed out the doorway. His older sisters following behind Zen sharing disgusted looks at him.

He then turned to his father who was sighing in disappointment and was also walking towards the door. Before his father could take a step further he said " Your mother would be disappointed in how weak her son turned out to be. " Just then Liang's emotions scattered hearing what his father said about him using his mothers name. His father out up with him frequently passing out but Liang felt that his father was embarrassed about having a son like him. And unfortunately he was right.

Liang looked at the wall in complete shock and terror as his father walked out the door lightly closing it. -INHALE- -EXHALE-

Liang's breathing increased as he looked around the room still in shock about what his father had just said about him. He felt his hands shaking and his heart rate increase. "Why am I freaking out? " He thought to himself. His father has said worse before. So why was he freaking out over this? He tried to slow down the pace of his breathing and calm down a bit. He drunk the water that one of the maids left on the side of the table and took a pill. After he had calmed his head he blankly stared at the ceiling.

He lifted his smooth soft like hands in the air trying to think of something he can be useful for. He's tried to use his magic abilities before but he just could've bring himself to do it. The mages said that Liang indeed has magic aura but, needs something to unlock it. He lowered his hands and turned to look out the window. He hadn't realized it but it was now night and not morning anymore. Which made him feel even more useless since now he literally lay'd I'm bed all day. But he didn't want this to effect him so he Turned out the light. Then let his eyes rest.
