Cyber, Lemillion, and SunEater

...

7 years since Takumi's arrival to Neo-Earth

...

Since his birthday two years ago, the young Cyber Sleuth has undergone some significant changes. The most notable change was in appearance. The day after his birthday, Takumi began to train alongside his digimon. He DID plan to do so when he was four, but he was quickly found out by Kazumi who subsequently gave him a stern talking to. However, he was able to strike a deal with her that her could start when he turned five years old. Through this training, he was able to do a multitude of new things.

From Hagurumon's memories as a HiAndromon, he learned a sword based technique called the Spiral Sword. He can't launch beams of energy like HiAndromon can, neither is he that proficient at it yet, but he knows enough to defend himself from a one-pointer without his digimon or his ring to help out. Maybe he could even defeat one. Besides that, his base strength increased. In the beginning, he probably would've hurt himself more than his opponent if he didn't have his ring. At his current strength, he's confident that he could knock out a bully his age in a single punch, even without the ring.

Speaking of the ring, he found out that is was quite the incredible item.

He really ought to thank Mirei someday.

From Terriermon's memories as a Rapidmon, he learned how to do basic parkour and athletics. Besides that, his base speed increased. With Accelerate activated, he can now run at 19 kilometers per hour. That's 5.28 meters per second or 11.79 miles per hour in freedom units.

For Palmon, her training was more on the intellectual side of Takumi. She said that he'll "Need it for when you finally get THAT upgrade for your 'Quirk'.". It was quite the vague statement, and when he asked about it, she simply said that he'll know soon enough. At the very least, he can definitely see the results. He went from having an already impressive IQ of 118 (Much thanks to his previous occupation) to 125 in just two years.

Thanks to his physical training, his body has changed significantly. His once scrawny little body has turned into an incredible athletic physique, his facial features changed from cute to extremely handsome (at least to kids his age.).

The next important change to note is that his party has improved significantly.

Since his birthday two years ago, his party doubled.

BlackAgumon, the fire virus type. His origin is as a Jogress part for MachineDramon: MetalTyrannomon.

Then there's his fire vaccine type cousin, Agumon, who came from the same origin as BlackAgumon as a MachineDramon Jogress part: Megadramon.

Finally, the last Jogress Part: MetalMamemon, who was currently a Kapurimon.

His first three also recieved many significant changes. Palmon, Terriermon, and Hagurumon have gained three levels. While it didn't exactly equate to getting multiplicatively stronger, but it was definitely significant enough to be noticable.

The once MetalKoromon also evolved into a fellow Hagurumon. Just so he didn't get too confused, he decided to name his older Hagurumon, HiHagurumon, inspired by his origin as a HiAndromon.

His three digimon in the digifarm were currently working to gather Huanglong Ore. He figured out that apparently, it was really damn difficult to work with such a material without prior knowledge. It was also that quality of Huanglong Ore that inspired Takumi to train his knowledge with Palmon. Right now, he had 23 ore. He used five of the ore in an attempt to turn them into Chrondigizoit Metal. Unfortunately, it was a waste, as of all the five he used, only two were successfully refined into Chrondigizoit Metal. Even more unfortunately, due to his status as a beginner refiner, his knowledge was extremely limited, so he couldn't produce any Chrome Digizoids, but he was fine with that. After all, there was a lot he could do with just two of the ultrahard Chrondigizoit Metal.

The Spiral Sword Style he learned from HiHagurumon incorporated a spinning drill in order to use most of its attacks, rendering unusable for most people, but Takumi wasn't like most people. With much guidance from HiHagurumon and Palmon, he created his first ever piece of equipment: The Drill Sword.

BESIDES THAT, DUE TO ITS CHRONDIGIZOIT METAL PROPERTIES, IT IS EXTREMELY DURABLE.]

While he appreciated the extra stats, It wasn't the reason he created the Drill Sword. Rather it was for the aspect of giving him a reliable way to use the Spiral Sword style. He doesn't have it on him right now, of course. No good adult would let a child handle such a lethal weapon, but he had a way to... store it.

The last significant change, at least to his parents, is his change in personality. He was still well meaning and kind, but he definitely had a more overconfident demeanor. He was also a bit more mischievous. He just felt as if it felt more natural to be like himself at this age. No one would bat an eye if a seven year old child with a powerful quirk grew at least a bit overconfident or mischievous.

Despite all these changes, he could not prepare himself for what would come next.

He was standing outside of a sliding wooden door in the middle of a hallway. Above the door marked a set of numbers and a letter. 'C-3'. There was also another child next to him. He looked quite nervous. "Hey, are you alright?" Takumi asked. The child suddenly jumped back slightly from him. "You're nervous, right?" Takumi smiled at him to which he quietly responded with a nod. "You'll do great. Just act like the others aren't there." He gave the child a thumbs up. "...Th-Thank you..."

...

"Welcome back to school, kids." A well dressed man said in front of many hyperactive children. "Welcome back to school, kids. I'll skip straight to the point, you'll be getting two new transfers." As he said that, the class erupted with discussion. "Hey, Mirio." One kid called out to a blonde, cheery looking boy. "What do you think they'll be like?" Truth be told, Mirio already caught a glimpse of one of the new kids. He had black hair, though he did seem really nervous. "I dunno! I hope they'll be nice though!" Mirio brightly, much to the other's amusement. Before the class could get any louder, the teacher spoke up. "Alright, quite down everyone. You two, come on in."

Tension was in the air. The anticipation was killing them! Step by step, they came in at the same time. In the front of the class stood two starkly differing children. As Mirio thought, the black haired kid was a transfer. The other kid however, he does not recognize.

"Good morning! I am Takumi Kato! I like detectives and heroes! I hope we can get along!" The boy who Mirio now knows as Takumi Kato says joyfully. Immediately, this boy got a positive reaction from the class. Mirio included.

Meanwhile, the black haired kid took a while to say something. He was just looking at the floor before Takumi got his attention. "You're gonna do great. Just act like no one else is here." Takumi whispered to him to which the black haired kid nodded before he took a deep breath. "My name is... um... My name is Tamaki Amajiki... and I like... heroes..." He said awkwardly. Takumi just patted his back and gave him a thumbs up. 'They both like heroes? Awesome!'

Mirio's got a feeling that this year will be very fun with them here. He just knows it.

...

Two hours later, Recess time.

...

Tamaki Amajiki had his head buried in his hands in depression. 'That was such an awkward introduction...No one's gonna want to talk to me...' He sighed quietly. 'Though there is that Takumi guy...' He thought about Takumi for a moment. He was pretty nice to him for some reason. Tamaki couldn't comprehend why he'd talk to him in such a friendly manner... But he appreciated it.

Suddenly, Mirio walks up to his table. "Hey! You're Amajiki, right? It was pretty hard to understand you up there, but you were trying to say you liked heroes right?" The cheery blondie said. "I... um... Yeah..." Tamaki said shyly before looking away in embarassment. "Me too!" Mirio said before smiling wide. 'Woah...' Tamaki gasped in his thoughts. 'He's so cheery...' Normally Tamaki would be more adverse with these types of people. He couldn't handle their radiance and constant noise. He felt like he didn't fit in with those types. However, with Mirio, for some reason, it feels more different. Takumi, too.

Speaking of Takumi, he was to the seat just beside himself. Mirio turned his head his head to the red-headed transfer. "And you're Takumi, right? You guys have such similar first names!" Mirio giggled at his comparison, to which Takumi followed suit. "Hehe, I guess we do." While not as blindingly bright as Mirio, Takumi could come closely to Mirio's radiance. It was an odd and warm feeling that Tamaki was unfamiliar with, but it was definitely a welcome feeling. Perhaps he could make friends after all.

...

9 months later, halfway through the Fourth Semester

...

Takumi, Tamaki, and Mirio have been inseparable since the former two's transfer. Right now, they were walking home from school while discussing their quirks. "So wait... What happens if you stop using your quirk while inside of something?" Tamaki asks Mirio curiously. "I just get pushed out towards where I'm looking if I'm inside an object and I turn off Permutation." Mirio chuckles whilst he rubs the back of his head. They were walking along a large river. The salty smell of water invading his senses, the wind rustling the leaves of trees. The talking of his friends. He missed this. 'Wow... I've accidentally sheltered myself out from the outside world.'

Takumi had honestly forgotten how peaceful life could be when he wasn't fighting reality destroying monsters. Yes, he's been in this world for 7 years now, but he didn't go out that much. Not unless he had to train with his digimon on if he needed more materials for digimon equipment. He REALLY ought to thank everyone for making him whole again. He looked downwards and smiled. "...kumi... Takumi..." Someone called out to him. "Takumi!" Takumi flinched in surprise only to find Mirio and Takumi looking at him with concerned eyes. "You okay? You seemed out of it for a second." Mirio said in concern. "Yeah... I just spaced out for a moment. What were you saying?" Takumi smiled softly, causing Mirio and Tamaki to let out a breath they didn't know they were holding.

"Well, we were wondering what your quirk actually was? You're always so secretive about it." Tamaki said in a timid tone. "Yeah, Takumi! What is it?" Takumi thought about it for a moment, putting his hand on his chin in wonder. Should he say anything? 'Well... I suppose I kept it secret for long enough.' "Alright, you two. Just don't get jealous!" Takumi teased his friends. Mirio simply laughed while Tamaki pouted. "Alright, you four! Come!" Out came his four battle digimon. "Woah!" Mirio's eyes lit up in childish joy and astonishment.

"Yo Takumi!!" The orange bipedal dinosaur said as he held his hand up for a high five. "Hey, Agumon." He high fived the dinosaur known as Agumon and smiled. Mirio and Tamaki looked at him with expectation and sparkles in eyes as if to ask if they could interact with his digimon. Takumi chuckled. "Yeah, Yeah. Meet my digimon, guys!"

With permission granted, Mirio ran to Palmon and HiHagurumon while Tamaki stared wide-eyed at Agumon and Terriermon. "You two are so cool!" Mirio admired the metallic and organic creatures. "PRAISE ACKNOWLEDGED" "But of course." As Takumi expected, Mirio immediately got along with them.

Meanwhile, with Tamaki, he was much more nervous, albeit with a lot of curiosity about Takumi's quirk. Terriermon saw this and decided to engage in conversation first to ease him up just a bit. "Heya! Takumi told me your name is Tamaki! You have pretty similar names, you know?" The little long eared canine said. "You're... You're pretty similar to Mirio..." He said before sitting down. "He said the same thing when he, Takumi, and I first met." Tamaki couldn't help but smile which got a joyful giggle from both digimon. "Good! You're feeling better now!" Agumon jumped about in place energetically. Tamaki laughed at his cute display and decided to pet him.

'It took a while, but it looks like they're getting along well.' Takumi smiled. He was thankful that they didn't react negatively like he thought they would. Truth be told, he was quite scared that Mirio and Tamaki may not like his unusual digital friends. This was the best possible outcome for Takumi.

He was quickly taken out of his thoughtful state when he heard screaming. He looked towards the direction of the noise and his eyes went wide with fear. Mirio was falling down into a river and screaming for his life. Palmon was attempting to reach him by extending her viney fingers, but she was too late and Mirio was just barely out of her grasp. Tamaki was also looking at him, paralyzed in his panic. "Mirio!!!" Takumi shouted out in worry. "Tamaki! You two! Call for help! HiHagurumon! With me!" Tamaki was quickly knocked out of his stupor before responding "R-Right!" Tamaki responded before standing up and calling for help with Agumon and Terriermon following suit hurriedly. "HiHagurumon! When I give the signal, come to me and drag me to land" "COMMAND REGISTERED. READY WHEN YOU ARE"

Then Takumi dived into the deep river fearlessly. "Takumi! Tamaki! Palmon! HiHagurumon! Help me please!" Mirio struggled to keep himself afloat, but he was doing enough. "I'm coming over!" Takumi screamed out. Upon hearing his voice, Mirio immediately gained hope. In their panic, they didn't even realize that a huge storm had begun. This storm had caused the river's current to flow even harder, causing greater difficulty to the two. Takumi swam as quickly as he could, impulsively using his stamina to get to Mirio. As quick as Takumi was swimming to Mirio, Mirio and Takumi's stamina were running out just as quick. 'Just a little more...!' It felt like forever until finally... contact. 'Yes!' Takumi quickly raised his right arm to signal HiHagurumon to come to him. With his right hand, he kept Mirio afloat "Th... Thank you, Takumi..." Mirio thanked Takumi weakly. "Don't worry about it, Mirio..." Takumi responded tiredly. At last, HiHagurumon arrived to them. Takumi quickly grabbed on to the gear digimon's body as it began to drag them towards the coast. Just as Mirio and Takumi were beginning to relax...

A wave of water buried Mirio and Takumi, the force of the water forcing Takumi to let go of HiHagurumon's body. 'Damn it! No!' Takumi tried to struggle upwards any way he can. HiHagurumon sent one of his gears towards Takumi, but by then. it was already too late. 'No... I can't...' Slowly, he felt his consciousness fade. At least he was still holding on to the already unconscious Mirio. Despite it all, he still had hope. Tamaki was out there. Looking for help.

And then... Darkness.

...

...

...

A familiar darkness. That's how Takumi would describe this right now. 'This is gonna be a thing, isn't it?' He thought to himself. He felt as if his data was scattered again, though he knew that wasn't the case. He could still hear the thumping of his heart in the endless void of unconsciousness.

Suddenly, he felt his heart beat quicker, his chest felt more free.

He opened his eyes suddenly, water rising up his throat and causing him to cough. "Gah!" He gasped out. He analyzed his current situation. He was lying on his back, breathing hard and looking up at the grey rainy sky. 'Thank Yggdrasil...' He thought as he looked towards his saviour. It was a man in an odd getup. He was wearing a blue and white skintight long-sleeve shirt with yellow gloves. He also had a helmet with a fin-like ornament on top. "Kid?! Kid, you're awake!" Takumi could immediately recognize the man as a hero, though he doesn't really recognize which hero he was, but to be fair, the man did look quite young. "Thank god... I was worried sick." The hero said as he chuckled. "Right, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Manual, an up and coming hero!" Manual says joyfully. "Wait... Where's Mirio?!" Takumi realized that Mirio wasn't anywhere to be seen, his heart began to race as his eyes widen in panic. "Woah- Woah! Take it easy, kiddo. If you're talking about the blonde kid, then he's okay. He's already been picked up by his parents." Manual says softly. Takumi sighed in relief. "Alright... Thank you..."

"You're lucky that black haired kid was around. I wouldn't have found you two otherwise." Manual explained. 'Black haired kid? Tamaki?' Takumi thought to himself. "Where's he now?" As if on cue, Tamaki ran up to Takumi and Manual. He looked as if he was about to cry. "Takumi! You're alright!" Tamaki said worriedly much to Takumi's amusement. "I thought you were..." Tamaki wasn't able to get everything he wanted to say out before he started to sniff. "I'm alright, Tamaki." Takumi says as he holds up a thumbs up. Tamaki, who was about to cry, stopped to look at him. "Y-Yeah... You're alright..." Tamaki says sheepishly before turning to the water hero and bowing. "Thank you, mister." He says.

"Off you two go now." Manual says to the two boys before the two nodded. Manual and the two boys parted ways.

The rest of the walk had been quite silent. It wasn't until the two needed to part ways that someone finally spoke. "Hey, Tamaki..." Takumi says to get Tamaki's attention. "Yeah?"

"Thank you." Takumi says before walking down the path to his own house. It was quite an an odd feeling to be helped out by someone else. He could never get used to it. Usually HE was the one doing all the helping, being a Cyber Sleuth and all that. Still, it's not an unwelcome feeling.

Tamaki watched as Takumi slowly got farther and farther away. 'Hngh... Here goes nothing...' Tamaki takes a deep breath to calm his nerves and muster up courage before shouting- "I-If you need help again, j-just ask!" Tamaki shouted out despite his nerves. In response, Takumi holds up his right hand and makes a peace sign, causing Tamaki to smile and laugh, before going his own way home.

Takumi was now alone, though not completely. After all, he had his digimon with him. Speaking of which, he should probably check up on all of them.

Takumi arrived home at last. The moment he rung the doorbell, his mother tackle hugged him. "My 'Kumi! Are you hurt?! Are you alright?! Why are you wet?!" She asked with panic in her voice. "M-Mom... Can't... Breathe..." She was choking the soul out of him with just her hug. Kazumi realized this when Takumi tapped her arm. "Whoops! Sorry, Takumi..." Kazumi apologized to her son, who simply laughed it off. "I-It's fine, mom." Takumi said. "I'll tell you about what happened when dad gets home, okay?" Kazumi looked at her son worryingly before sighing in begrudging acceptance. "Fine."

You have... NO IDEA how many times i mispelled Tamaki's name as Takumi or Takami.

I should really get a proofreader.

Btw Mirio should've been the main character and not Deku.
