Diary entry #2

January 20 5:50-6:20

After witnessing what was in the cafeteria I hurriedly covered my nose packed some food and found the entrence to the "Warehouse," and left.

Outside it looks like I'm on the end of some sea-port, some ships and boats, some destroyed some look ok but not testing it.

The sky had no sun, just a yellowish/green fog hovering above the ground as far as the eye can see.

Buildings in the distance were toppled over or on the verge of.

Bodies littered the ground, some looked intact some were nothing but a small pile of flesh and bone.

I walk towards the buildings hoping to find some more supplies.

"The more the merrier."

*growl*

Walking towards the buildings, I entered what looked like an apartment, only to hear another monster to my left.

This creature has cut in half with the bottom resting on the floor.

It looks like whoever killed it was in a sticky situation, I take my knife out of my pocket and stick it, in it's head.

*silence *

"You know you didn't need to do that, right?" A voice behind me said.

In a flash close to the speed of lighting I took out my 9mm and aimed it at the sudden voice.

"Whoa, whoa put that gun down please."

Getting a good look at the voice I could tell it was a a guy, probably was a High school student, average build and looks, looks like nothing special.

"What do you want." I asked while still aiming at his chest.

"Same as you i'm scavenging. I need to find something to pay of my dept back in town."

"Town?" I asked confused, 'is there still human settlements?' Was all I thought.

"Yeah, let me guess are you new around here?" He asked

"Yeah." Was my only response.

"Would you like me to show you?" He said while trying to hold in a smile.

I saw this and without any hesitation I said, "no just point me in the direction."

With a hint of disappointment in his eyes he pointed to my right.

"A little over a mile that way." He said.

"Thanks, bye."

"Hope to see you soon."

This is what lead me to start writing this, right now I am on the inside of the wall of the settlement writing this.

I'm cutting this short because I need to move and find more information on the plague.

The i'll write more soon,and hopefully i'll keep writing more in the future.
