144. Camp- Vs Tenko Middle (III)

Getting the first out at the crucial moment made Rei smile a little. Yoshimi made his way back to dug and the next batter came up to the box. Rei asked for a pitch right down the middle as bait. The batter fell for the bait and swung his bat. The ball connected, and it flew to the left field. 

Rei stood and looked towards the left field. Shiro immediately bolted back and leaped to get his mitt under the ball when he saw it was dropping. The ball safely fell in his glove and he fell on the ground. Gripping the ball tightly, he didn't let it roll off the glove and stood up showing it. 

With the second out, Rei was more at ease. He looked towards the third batter making his way into the box. He looked at Takashi and went hard on pitches to the corners. The batter was cornered in no time. He swung and missed on an inside pitch for the third out of their inning.
