Now, after seeing his dad exiting the house, Kyouya hurried back in the kitchen to grab his backpack as he had to do his homework.

Taking out the necessary things, he started to write the operation before he saw his mom staring at him from the door.

Confused again, he asked

"Mom, did something happen? Both you and dad are acting strangely..?"

Seeing that he seemed to be fine, she let out another sigh of relief as she, at least, thought he would never lend a hand on his own son.

'He's not totally hopeless...Maybe..if he apologizes, the family will reunite again, but if he doesn't, I'll never let him get near Kyouya again after what he said..'

Still remembering the cold words he said to stop her, made her flinch as she was actually considering forgiving him..

'I can still accept it's because of alcohol..the real question is how much drunk he is ... to get to the point where he would say such things...?'

Giving herself this excuse, she knew that, in her heart, he was still there. Even though his words broke something in her, she loved him for too much time to just turn him down after just a mistake..

After losing herself in her thoughts for a moment, she immediately returned her focus on him as she couldn't help but smile wryly when he was with him. The fact was, she was the kind of mother who loved her child dearly, and this feeling, was actually shared by Kyouya.

"Which subject are you doing..?"

Her question brought him to look at his notebook before answering

"Maths"

Thinking about this, she went next to him as she checked the exercise he had to do.

"Let me see..ohh, multiplication tables."

Remembering her own life as a little girl, she smiled as she said

"I will teach you a method to learn them which you will find very useful, give me the notebook and a pen.."

Saying this, she started to explain to him how to do multiplication tables as time passed quickly...

Seeing that the Sun had already set, Kyouya yawned as he added

"Moom, it's nearly time to go to bed. Can I sleep with you today?"

His question brought a smile on her face as she replied

"Ohh, so you want to sleep in my bed today..that's fine! But don't get used to it, today it's special!"

Hearing her actually confirming him that it was fine to sleep with her, made Kyouya cheer happily as he hugged his mother.

"I love you, Mom!"

Laughing, she nodded as she knew how much her child loved her... but, before she was able to reply to his words, they heard a voice from the door.

"Sorry, Kyouya, your mom will sleep with me today."

Hearing Keiichi's voice, Kyouya's mother turned to look at him with an icy stare

"Go away"

Saying so, she patted Kyouya's hand before Keiichi added

"...Fine"

Sighing, she saw him sitting on the sofa they had in the living room as the door of the kitchen was still open...
