6 Rumble in the Market Pt.2

*""* = talking through a Den Den Mushi

All of Jack's confidence drained away once he saw a ginormous ship; supposedly this was the main ship of the guy that bought the Devil Fruit he wanted.

It was ginormous, spanning hundreds of metres in length and a couple of metres in width, made out of mostly metal with wood making up most of the bow and underside of the ship. Another type of metal covered most of the ship as some type of armour, cannons lined the sides of the ship, with a giant bloody smile with extremely sharp teeth on its bow, with two sharp eyes staring into the distance.

Jack didn't know how to feel, he was sure that he could take whoever owned the ship but now he wasn't too sure. He looked around noticing that not only was no one around but a thick fog had crept into the port.

"When did the fog show up?" He asked, no one around to answer.

When Jack looked back up at the ship he saw the eyes looking at him and; if he was seeing things right, that its smile had gotten bigger.

At first, he thought that it was his mind playing tricks on him but the more he looked into the ship's eyes the more fear he felt. He wondered if the ship was a living ship like the Thousand Sunny. However he quickly dismissed it as his mind making him feel things.

As he continued to look at the ship's eyes he started to feel calmer and calmer and a want to get close to the giant ship.

His system was profusely trying to cancel this strange effect that the Smiling Death had on its host. And yet, no matter what it did. It couldn't stop its host from walking closer to the ship.

As Jack got closer to its bow the ship's seemingly painted-on smile started to open, forcing the top half of the bow to be pushed upwards showing rows of large serrated teeth all painted with splashes of dried blood; The stench of decade-long rusted metal, knocked out Jack; yet his body kept on moving, closer and closer towards the ships gaping mouth.

The system was so desperate to save its host and subsequently itself that it forced its host awake. However, it was already too late.

Just as Jack woke up. Looking into the endless abyss that was the Smiling Death's mouth. The Smiling Death, faster than the eye could see, closed its mouth instantly killing Jack and his system.

Unfortunately for the system, it was absorbed by the ship's own system making it more robust. Unfortunately for Jack, his soul joined other souls within the Smiling Deaths' stomach, forever being tortured with no possible way to escape.

This is what the Smiling Death loved the most, helping its creator however he needed it; it loved luring people in and taking anything and everything they had. Though, unlike Flowey, it took more enjoyment out of physical and spiritual torment.

Though, like Flowey it loved to torture people in the most painful way possible. It helped that it had a system that could steal reincarnators' systems and powers. Though doing so was unimaginably painful to the hist if not fatal. While it didn't like giving powers to members of Flowey's crew it understood the importance of doing so.

It hated the fact that those that lived in Dressrosa's underground port had started to understand and recognise when it was hunting and what happened if you were outside during its hunts; It had taken many lives in the short time it had existed and couldn't wait for more unsuspecting humans to fall for its trap. There was always the stray pirate that it could eat.

As the fog dispersed, making seeing into the port easier and easier. Shops started to open up more and people started to come out of their homes and shelters. even the Smiling Deaths' crew were not safe from its effects, hiding away in their quarters where the ship couldn't affect them.

Well, it hadn't tried to hurt them yet. Hopefully, it wouldn't get hungry enough to try.

Laffitte, however, was one of the few people that the ship would not actively go for when hunting. No one except for one person knew why.

Even though they feared it they still respected the ship and their captain mainly because of the powers that they gave them; It catapulted them above what he called cannon fodder and into experienced and powerful fighters and soldiers.

It allowed them to fight groups of other pirates and marines with relative ease. They stayed with their captain partly because of fear and partly because they were safe from most of the other pirate groups that made up the Grand Line.

A while later Flowey, Monet and Pudding returned from the auction house, noticing the fear in the air Flowey couldn't be happier, his creation, the very thing that he considered his own child, was doing its job perfectly. He was going to reward it for doing such a great job creating misery and dismay.

Seeing no other reason to stay Flowey ordered his crew to prepare to leave.

Before he could give another command, the Smiling Death brought something to his attention.

Flowey's smile grew, as he was pretty sure he knew why and hurried down to the captain's quarters.

Pudding looked in confusion as he did so while Monet looked on in slight fear and worry.
