7 A pest

"She is not that cold as it thought," he said to himself as she hugged him tighter then he placed his hand around her waist and her eyes widened then she raised up with her cheeks pink.

"Sorry" she said,

"It's fine" he replied with a sigh,

"Why did you accept to be my bodyguard and why are you still here even though I am rude to you most of the time?" she asked,

"Let's just say I have some personal gain, don't worry it's nothing bad I guess" he responded then she frowned,

"What's wrong?" he asked,

"Nothing, join us for breakfast" she responded then walked away and he followed her.

"Everything okay with you two?" her father asked,

"Yes dad" she responded then sat down.

"Uh... you can sit and have breakfast with us too," she said as she grabbed onto Amias's hand.

"If my daughter wants you to sit and have breakfast with us then it's okay sit," the queen said and so the boy sat with them.

"Oh I wanted to tell you that your cousin Emily will be coming today," her father said,

'Great" she replied,

"Look I know you two have loose ends, you don't really get along but she will be arriving in a few, please just ignore her" the queen said,

"Mom I won't say anything don't worry" she replied then drank her chocolate milk.

"Are you okay?" Amias asked,

'Yes I am absolutely fine" she responded as she ate her toast.

"Minda I will probably be leaving today so I wanted to make sure will you be coming to the ball?" Nin asked,

"Yes of course I will" she responded with a smile.

"Good morning you guys," Emily said as she walked into the dining hall.

She was a tall dark-haired stuck up princess in Minda's eyes, she had long hair, brown eyes, slim and fair.

"Emily you are early," the kings said,

"Yes I am" she replied as she bowed to the king and queen,

'No need for the formality come on join us" the king said then Emily sat down and then she noticed Amias.

"Who this?" Emily asked as she stared at Amias and he smiled.

Amias was every princess perfect dream guy, he was tall, lean, had a broad chin, long pointed aligned nose, his hair was brown, eyes were green, sharp, and lip pink.

"This is Amias, Minda's bodyguard" the queen responded,

"Why does she need a bodyguard?" Emily asked,

"None of your business, I hope that answers your question" Minda responded then Amias smiled.

"Pass me the milk Amias," Emily said then Minda looked at her sternly,

Amias was about to give her the milk but the princess grabbed onto his hand then he looked at her.

"Emily he is having his breakfast, you can get it yourself, you don't have two hands to waste time," she said then Emily folded her cuffs in anger then grabbed the milk.

"What will you be doing today Minda?" Stella asked,

'I have to go to the village in the mountains later, i want to see if everything is okay with everyone there, it's beautiful there too" she responded,

'Well, can we come along?" Nin asked,

'Of course" she responded,

"Well I have training to get to, I will see you guys later," she said then got up along with Amias.

"Uh... you don't have to come along, stay here I will be back beside it's right in the arena," she said,

'Are you sure?" he asked,

'Yes I am, enjoy your breakfast" she responded then walked away and he left staring at her while Emily stared at him.

"Damn she seems like trouble," Amias said to himself then sat back down.

"Sir Corbin, good morning," she said as she walked into the arena where the knights were training.

"Your highness," the young knight said as he bowed,

"No need to bow," she said,

"I have to you are our princess" he replied,

"Before that we are friends," she said then he smiled and they hugged.

"I see you are now the leader of the knights, you made your way to the top, congratulation," she said,

'Thank you" he replied,

'So are you here to begin your training?" he asked,

"No I will just watch, not in the mood to be honest" she responded with a frown.

"Did something happen?" he asked as she sat down,

'No" she responded.

"Minda we know each other from childhood my father was a knight and I followed in his footstep, I know when something is wrong," he said,

"Corbin, Emily is here" she replied then he laughed,

"I see so she is the reason you are so down, get rid of that pest or this time she will stay longer and cause problems for you," he said,

"If she is here to cause problems I will make her life a living hell, she doesn't know the present me if i was not a princess I would beat her to a pulp" she replied.

"Anyways you go help the other knights, I will be here watching," she said,

"Okay," he replied then walked away.

As for Amias and the others, they had finished eating breakfast and Amias was guarding the king in the meanwhile.

While he was with the king he noticed that Emily was staring at him.

'I feel really irritated when people stare at me like that especially people like this brat" he said to himself with a sigh.

'Amias can you please bring me a glass of water?" Emily asked as she sat in the living room and at the very same time, Minda came in.

"Okay my lady" he replied and the girl smiled wickedly,

"Oh no you don't, the only person who talks to him like that is me," Minda said to herself as she folded her cuffs and Amias brought the water in a tray for her.

"Hold up a second," Minda said as she walked to them in anger then Stella swallowed deeply.

'Oh no," Nin said as the girl grabbed the glass of water and drank it then Emily flung up from the couch.

"How dare you?" Emily asked,

"How dare I? how dare you?" Minda shouted then the queen jumped,

"What's your problem?, he is not any prince, I have a right to order him too," she said then Minda slapped her, and Amias eyes widened as they all jumped.

'Next time you do that, I will show you your real place daddy's little pest" Minda said in anger.
