65 Chapter 9: Infinite Energy
AN; Guys, please don't pressure me into adding more girls, I get you all like Harem, I get you, I like harem too(sorry babe) but please understand that I wanted the girls to feel like a real person and will have a reason to be with the MC. I already rushed and forced the meeting and development of Emi, Sagiri's development was meh, Yoruichi has a very little screen time, so please understand I cannot handle a lot of girls. If you really like me to add more girls, let me develop the relationship between those three first, then we'll decide. As for now, I plan to develop Emi's relationship. Alex walked out of the bath wearing a black shirt and black shorts. He felt refreshed, though not as much as when he took a bath in the hot springs of Yuragi Inn.
He looked at Emi and nodded, "I'm done, the bath's all yours Emi."
Emi nodded and picked up Alice who was rolling around the bed, "Let's go and take a bath Alice, come."
Alice let herself get carried before looking at her father, "Papa, nex time let's bath together with Mama."
He nodded, "Sure thing." He felt a glare and just smile at Emi as they went inside the bathroom.
He then lied down on the bed as Judecca materialized beside him, sitting at the corner of the bed.
"Master...." She stretched out her hand, as a small, bluish-purple orb can seen floating just above her palm.
Seeing that, Alex couldn't help but smirk. "The Hogyoku...." He stretched his arms forward and took the Hogyoku from Judecca.
"Ah, Aizen, Aizen, you're making this way too easy for me."
Alex already stated that he is somewhat interested in Hogyoku, but not so much that he'd make a move himself.
So he just decided to sell the storage spaces, because surely, someone as cautious as Aizen wouldn't just let someone near the thing.
So if he found out about the storage space which can only be accessed with someone who first feed it with a drop of blood, then surely, he will be interested in it.
But of course, someone as cautious as him would certainly doubt it if he was the only one who has it, so Alex sold a lot of them.
But of course, Aizen will still be cautious and study the storage space before using it, but Alex already got that covered.
When he made those storage space, Alex completely fused Space Magic in it, making it look like it was a natural ore put on accessories and not something made by human/youkai hands.
So no matter how much Aizen studies the storage space, it will only look like it was small natural green ore that has a space it in, and put on an accessory.
This was the real reason why Alex decided to sell those storage space, the ores and stuffs was just an extra.
"Now, let me see just what is so special about this Hogyoku. In the Anime it was capable of Desire Manifestation....let's see."
Using Creation Magic, and Spirit Magic, he began to thoroughly observe the orb.
Judecca just sat at the side of the bed, watching her master.
After awhile, he raised an eyebrow, "....I see, the Hogyoku is still incomplete and its still in the process of fusing. I remember that Aizen also made 1 Hogyoku before he stole Uruhara's."
The Hogyoku was more complicated than Alex has thought it would be. But still, he he can still study it quite easily.
"...Ah, so this how Hogyoku Manifested the desires of people. Its quite similar to my Space Magic and Regeneration Magic."
The Hogyoku works by "regenerating" an illusion of the desire of people, and then with its ability to interfere with boundaries, it "dissolves" the boundary that separates the illusion from reality, projecting the "illusion" into the "reality".
This would also explain how, in the Anime, can the Hogyoku turn a Shinigami into Hollow, and Hollow into Shinigami, allowing one race to attain the powers of the other.
Because it dissolves the boundaries of Hollows and Shinigami. Similar to Alex's Space Magic.
And perhaps also the reason why Aizen became an Immortal-like existence in the Anime is also because of the ability of the Hogyoku that was similar to Alex's Regeneration Magic.
"Hn?" Alex's eyes widened, "Oh...Ooohh!! Holy shit!? This thing...Such thing actually existed?!"
"Master?" Judecca tilted her head when she saw her master suddenly losing his composure. The only time something similar to this happened is when her master's daughter suddenly got sick.
What did her master found out that made him react like that?
"Jude," Alex called her, without even looking away from the orb, "I talked a bit about Spirit Energy, the energy of this world and its property to you right?"
She nodded. "Indeed, you did tell Judecca all about it master, if Judecca remember it correctly, the positive energy give invigoration, and the negative energy possess the nature of pacification to obstruction. All those circulate with a core as the center which maintain the world's balance."
Alex smiled, "That's right. But see, that's not the essence of the Hogyoku. No, if you say that's its essence then it's true that's the essence, but what ought to be really paid attention to, the property that is worthy to feel astonishment toward is not that."
"Hm?" Judecca tilted her head in confusion.
He smirked and looked at her, "The terrific property of Hogyoku—is in the aspect of its circulation efficiency that is a hundred percent."
"Hm?" Judecca looked confused for a moment before her eyes widened in realization.
"Right! You get it! Jude, this is something amazing. Even in Ente Isla, or in this world, you can find any amount of circulation system, whether natural or artificial. However, you can say that a system with one hundred percent circulation rate doesn't exist. Fundamentally there must be loss that occurred without exception."
Judecca nodded, "It's a talk about a law of thermodynamics. One of mankind's grand problems that denied thermodynamics and is said to be impossible to be realized."
Of course, she knew all of this from Alex's memories. Because even though Alex liked to skip school, he was smart, tutored by the best of the best of professors hired by his father.

The Spirit Energy of this world, although the circulation rate was different based from the time difference and energy's amount, but the energy itself would be converted from negative to positive with a hundred percent circulation rate once it got taken in into the Hogyoku.
In other words, if this energy was made to circulate within a certain range, it would continue to circulate perpetually.
The Hogyoku had a gravitational field so that the energy wouldn't escape to outside, furthermore the outer shell that was using a material unknown to even Alex used something similar to his Space Magic to permit only the property of invigoration effect from the positive energy to exert influence to outside.
The positive energy that lost the invigoration power would be altered into negative energy, the Hogyoku would absorb it and converted it back into positive energy once more. The loss was zero percent so it would circulate for perpetuity.
How did Uruhara and Aizen made this thing is beyond him. But it doesn't matter, because he was the one to benefit from it in the end.
"Currently it can only be operated with Spirit Energy that can be used only by this world's people. But, If I study how Demons coverts fear and despair into Magic Power then, I can find the method to convert Spirit Energy into magic power or something else and then..."
"Kukuku~" Alex could barely control himself from laughing out loud, "....I'll be able to control infinite amount of energy! HAHAHAHA!"
If he succeeded, the very first thing he'll do is to make an army of mechanized Grim Reaper that could match a Sephira and has an infinite magic power! Yes! Just like the Apostles of Ehit from Arifureta!
It took him a few minutes before he managed to calm down. Taking a deep breath, he handed back the Hogyoku to Judecca, "Store it for now Jude, I'm on vacation. And don't forget to make a Fake to fool Aizen."
"Affirmative, my master." Judecca took the orb from Alex before storing it, as she turned back into being a pendant and wrapped herself around Alex's neck.
Alex stood up and began stretching his body before let out a relieved sigh, "Hmm, we left around 10, took a 15 minutes drive to the train station, and more than 2 hours of ride from Tokyo to Kyoto. Then another fifteen minutes walk to arrive at the hotel. We still a little bit of half a day before night. Should we take this chance to explore or just rest and wait till tomorrow? Hmm."
After thinking for a bit, he shook his head and smirk. Of course they'll explore, it would be boring to just stay in this hotel for half a day.
This is only his second time in Kyoto, the first one was when he accompanied his father for a business trip in his first life.
And he didn't even get to enjoy his stay at that time. So now, he will do his past life's regret. He, and others stay here in Kyoto for a week before leaving! He'll make sure of it!
Yaya, Yuuna, and Sagiri has school? No problem! He'll handle it!
With a smirk, he went to the kitchen to make some food. He was so-so in cooking, but with his ingredients, even if it was burnt or undercooked, it would still taste good.
'Hmm, I should consider having a branch of my café here Kyoto.'
He took out a fish and fry it. What? He only knows how to fry, grill, and roast! In his past life he wasn't taught to be good at cooking! And as a Demon, he doesn't need to eat because of Demonic Force.
"Oh? You're cooking?"
"Hm?" Alex turned around and saw Emi wearing a yellow shirt and white denim shorts, carrying Alice who was wearing a black and white panda onesie.
"Yeah, though don't expect too much." Alex saw Emi taking a seat with Alice on her lap playing on her phone.
He couldn't help but smile at that, "We look like a real family aren't we?"
Emi's face turned as red as her hair as she glared at Alex, "S-Shut up I-Idiot! D-Don't say such t-things!"
Alex just laugh seeing her like that.
