11 Chapter 6: "I don't Know What to Put Here"

When Alex opened his eyes, he was startled when he found himself standing in a blank white space that seems to extend to infinity and beyond.

But he knew, that despite how endless the space looks, it has a limit. This "space" was only around an acre wide, and around a hundred meters in height, and at the very center of the space was a floating red diamond-shaped crystal.

That crystal was the heart of this space, destroying it will cause the space to crumble.

Alex flew towards the very edge of the space and "touch" the space in front of him, and he felt some sort of a wall blocking him.

He flew up and "touch" the space above, he felt the same as he did when he touched the edge of the space, there's some sort of a wall blocking him.

Looking around, he found a door down below. And in a blink of an eye, he appeared in front of the door and opened it.

On the other side was the hall of the Yuragi Inn. He went out, before going back inside and closed the door.

"Yosh! Now to terraform this place!"

Touching the ground, Alex used his Magic Sense to find a free land with rich soil that wasn't usually visited by humans.

After searching for awhile, he found one in US, and without wasting any second, he connected the "space-ground" to that land.

Alex stood up and looked around. Even though only the ground has changed, and the other sides are still white blank space, it was still a bit beautiful....maybe.

There is really nothing look at, it was just a grassland, some large and small rocks, bushes, there is even a river that split the land in two.

And there are a couple of trees which are separated by a rather wide distance, while some of them were in groups of three or five.

What if people stumbled upon the place where he took this land? No need to worry, because even if they did, they won't be able to come here.

"Alright, next are the sides."

Alex did not need to worry about where to look of a place to connect the sides, he just searched for some very nice sights.

But first, he connected the side of the "door" on two trees that hugged each other.

He then took out a Fluorescent Crystal from his storage ring—he has a lot of things that he took from the Demon King Treasury before he left.

After that, using Creation Magic, he made two lamppost and placed them on the side—in front of the door, after that, he searched for some rocks and changed it into a road and placed it in front of the door.

Satisfied, he went back to changing the views of the sides of the space, he needed four different sides.

First, he searched for a beautiful waterfall view, and placed it on a position where it seems like the river was connected to it.

He was sure that even though there's a waterfall there, he can't really go there because there's a "wall" that will stop him.

This is still a "space" after all, even though it doesn't look like that.

Next, he decided to go for a forest, he searched for a place that will compliment the "waterfall side" and the one that looks more natural.

After he found one that satisfied him, he immediately connected the space to it.

And on the last two sides, he decided to just go for hills and mountains. Of course, he picked the most beautiful mountain and hill view he could find to connect to his space.

As for the space above, Alex decided to connect it to the sky of La Palma, Canary Islands, in his past life, he went there to stargaze a lot of times.

And to be honest, its one of the most beautiful spot to stargaze, it was simply breathtaking.

Sure, there are others that might be a little better than it, but that place holds a special space in his heart.

Because it was the place where his mother last brought him before she died.

'....Shit.' He cursed as he felt his eyes water. 'I guess...I haven't completely moved on.'

Shaking his head, Alex decided to continue his work.

Of course, because the time between Canary Islands and Japan is vastly different, Alex decided to use Restoration Magic.

This magic allows the user to restore the state of anything to either its previous or original condition.

Though the true power of this magic is the ability to 'interfere with time', meaning it has the ability to manipulate the time of anything, anyplace or anyone to a point the user desires to.

Alex used this magic to somehow match the time of both places; though its only inside his space and doesn't affect the time of the outside world.

Looking up, Alex was satisfied when it was the morning sky, the same as in Japan.

After that, Alex decided to finally make his mansion, before he paused. He doesn't know how to start....

"I don't even know anything about making a house, much less a mansion." He played Minecraft, but still....

He smacked his forehead, as he came to a realization, "I forgot, Satan has some knowledge! He was the one who personally made his castle with some minor help! Surely, a mansion isn't that much harder than city-wide castle?"

Laughing to himself, Alex decided to gather materials for his mansion, when he suddenly realized something, or more like, remembered something, very, very important.

"Creation Magic allows the user to interfere with any inorganic materials, does this mean that I can turn an ordinary rock into a limestone?"

Its just a theory, but that is certainly very plausible! Then if he can do that, then what's stopping him from turning plain old rocks into other precious minerals like gold, silver, or maybe even diamond?!

"Oh my god! Doesn't that make me a Humanoid Philosopher Stone?! Or maybe even a Walking Treasury?!"

Despite his excitement, he managed to quickly calm himself as he shook his head. He wasn't really interested in being rich, he just wanted to enjoy life.

Knowing that he can turn stones into gold is enough for him. After all, if he ran out of money he can just make some.

It would be so EPIC if he just picked up a stone on the streets and use it to pay for his rent.

Alex picked up a small rock beside his feet as he sat down on the ground and observed the rock.

"Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed primarily of calcium carbonate in the form of the mineral calcite." He muttered, "So how do I turn this rock into a Limestone?"

"Ah wait, isn't Limestone an Organic Sedimentary rock? Does this mean I need to use Metamorphosis Magic instead of Creation magic?"

Metamorphosis Magic is the opposite of Creation Magic. If the Creation Magic allows the user to interfere with inorganic materials, the Metamorphosis Magic allows the user to interfere with any organic materials.

Example of its uses is to transform an ordinary flower, into a man-eating plant monster.

In the end, he decided to just use try the two of them.
