10 Chapter 5: Operation Modify The Room is a Go!

Alex woke up and felt surprisingly refreshed. Even though he woke up in the middle of the night to change Alice's diapers.

He looked at his daughter who was sleeping peacefully and couldn't help but smile.

'So this is what it feels to be a father huh?' Alex thought. It was very pleasant, its no wonder why his father in his previous life likes to spoil him.

Alex was sure that if Alice asked for something, he'd do it in a heartbeat.

Alice stirred as she groggily opened her eyes and sat up. She looked around the room before stopping her gaze to her papa.

She blinked her eyes and crawled towards him, laying her head on his lap, before looking up at him and smiled, "G'mornin, papa."

Smiling, Alex pinched his daughter's cheeks. "Good morning Alice, did you sleep well?"

"Hmm, good."

Alex carried Alice on his arms as he stood up. "That's good, so how about we go and meet your neechans now?"

"M'kay!"

With a smile, Alex went out of his room. He'll reform it later after breakfast, he can ask Ashiya and others to take care of Alice for him for a bit.

He really can't wait to start!

They walked for awhile before they arrived in the dining room, where Sagiri and Nonko were already eating their breakfast.

Nonko noticed him entering along with Alice and immediately hid her bottle of sake under the table as she waved at them.

"Alex-chan, Alice-chan, Mornin~!"

Sagiri turned towards them, her gaze lingering at the still sleepy Alice for awhile longer before she nodded, "Good morning, Alexander Gremory, Alice."

Alex sat down and put Alice on his lap as he greeted them back. "Good morning Nonko-san, Sagiri-san."

"G'mornin, Noko-neecha, Sa-neecha!" Alice greeted them as she keep patting the table with her chubby little hands.

"U-Umu," Sagiri blushed as she pretended to remain calm and continue to eat her breakfast.

Nonko smiled as she softly pinched Alice's cheeks, "You are just so cute Alice-chan~"

Suddenly, Yaya, who was wearing her purple hoodie popped out under the table. Her cat ears and tail is on full display, she was even only wearing her underwear.

"Yaya?!" Sagiri exclaimed, "How many times do we have to tell you not to sleep under the table! And your panties are showing!"

She then took a glance at Alex, who was only playing around with her daughter and sighed. 'Well, he's already an adult, he won't be interested in seeing the underwear of someone as young as Yaya, and he already has a daughter.'

Yaya gave a yawn and crawled towards Alice and greeted her, "Good morning, Alice-chan."

Alice smiled, "G'mornin, Yaya-neecha!"

After that, Chitose walked inside the room, "Alex-san, Alice-chan, Yaya-san, good morning. I'll start preparing your breakfast right away!"

After that, she immediately went towards the kitchen.

Then, the door once again opene as Ashiya, followed by Yuuna who was floating behind Ashiya.

"Good morning my liege, princess." Ashiya smiled with a small bow before greeting the others, "Nonko-san, Sagiri-san, good morning."

Yuuna smiled and greeted everyone, "Good morning everyone, especially you Alice-chan!"

"G'mornin Alseel! Yuna-neecha!"

Alex nodded at them, though he sighed inwardly when Ashiya called addressed him as "My liege" and Alice as "Princess".

"Good morning Ashiya, Yuuna."

Sagiri stared at Alex, 'My liege? Princess? Are they royalty? Does this mean that aside from them, they also have a group following them?'

"I-I'm going to help Chitose-san!" Yuuna said as she floated towards the kitchen.

Alex looked at Sagiri, "Sagiri-san, are you in highschool?"

"Huh?" Sagiri looked at Alex and wondered why he asked but decided to answer anyway, "No, not yet. Though I'm going to be a first year at Yukemuri Highschool in three weeks."

Alex nodded, 'Three weeks huh? It means the protagonist of Yuragi-sou will be coming here soon. So I better prepare myself for all the perverted situations that will start after he arrives.'

Just then, Chitose and Yuuna walked out of the kitchen holding trays filled with food.

"Here you go, please enjoy." Chitose smiled as she put their foods down on the table, with Yuuna helping her.

"Thanks, Chitose-san, Yuuna-san." Alex said as he looked at his daughter who was staring at the food with stars in her eyes.

He couldn't believe that this little thing is older than even him. She was just way too innocent for someone who lived for tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of years.

There is even a chance that she's already millions of years old.

Alice was looking at him with an excited smile, waiting for her papa to feed her. With a smile, Alex happily obliged.

"Here's one for you Ashiya-san." Chitose placed the food down in front of Ashiya, giving him a smile.

"Many thanks for making us food Chitose-san, you too Yuuna-san."

"You're welcome, please enjoy Ashiya-san."

"I-It's no p-problem at all! Ashiya-san! I-I only help a little, Chitose-san d-did all the cooking!"

Alex also decided to eat, and nodded when he tasted Chitose's cooking. It certainly is good, he was glad he wasn't as poor as the original Maou who can only eat cucumber with honey everyday before Suzuno arrived to feed them.

'I should also look for a job, I guess I'll also work for the MGronalds here? At least I won't feel like I'm an unemployed husband who only waits at home doing nothing. Or maybe I could also follow the MC of some Fanfics who plagiarized manga and novels from their original world.'

But he decided to think of that later, for now he needed to modify his room.

So after he finished feeding Alice and himself, he gave her to Ashiya.

"Alice, stay with Ashiya for a bit kay? Papa needs to do something."

Alice looked at her papa and nodded, "Okay."

Smiling, Alex caressed her head and left the dining room, with the others following him with their eyes.

Alex went back to his room before closing the door and windows, and folded the futon they used last night.

He sat down at the center of the room and caressed Judecca who was in her pendant form.

'This will also serve as an experiment whether I can combine my magic to form a Concept Magic.'

But he shook his head, experiment later, modifying now. 'First, is spatial magic.'

This magic allows the user to manipulate the space around themselves, allowing them to either bend or expand the space near them or move themselves to another space or location.

The true power of this magic is the ability to 'interfere with the boundary'.

Meaning it can allow the user to manipulate anything, like elimination of race-creature gap, or formulating a new boundary to create the spirit world; its possible to achieve those kinds of things.

With this magic, Alex can even eliminate the boundary that separates Angels and Demons, making a Demon capable of using Celestial Force of the angels, and vice versa.

And possibly even combine them both into a new and more powerful and versatile energy!

Closing his eyes, Alex concentrated on manipulating the space inside the room.

"Alright, let's begin!"
