35 Chapter 5: Just a Toy
AN: Well, my phone broke. I said that I was living in the mountains with my grandparents right? so yeah, their washing machine broke so i have to do my laundry manually on the...what do you call that thing...ah yknow a pipe buried on the ground and just keep on releasing water...not a water pump btw...ah whatever, anyway yeah, my phone fell on the water and i didn't even noticed it until I'm done, yeah so i went and borrowed my gf, well she kinda just gave it to me, she has three anyway. and did you know the look she gave me when she read this?
she even asked me "do you like harem?" gah, what am I supposed to answer? so i just laughed it off and gave her a kiss.
sorry for that, i ranted for a bit, anyway here's the chap.

"So Emi-chan~" Nonko began, "Mind telling us how did you meet Alex-chan here~? And how come Ashiya-chan looks like he will kill you any second now."
Emi looked Ashiya who was glaring at her before looking at Nonko and sighed, "Well....it was...complicated."
"Eehh~? Are you perhaps embarrassed~? Don't be, most of us are girls here." Nonko smiled, "Don't tell me, is it forbidden love?"
Emi almost choked on her food as she shook her head in denial, "That's not it! I don't like him at all! Please don't say things like that!"
Alex scoffed, "Says you. You aren't my type at all, if you want me to show interest in you then at least grow up like your mother."
"What did you say?! Don't think of my mother like that!"
"Papa! Mama! Don't fight!" Alice, who was sitting on her mama's lap hugged her tightly.
"Fufu~ you two, you really have some history with each other huh?" Nonko laughed before shaking her head and continue to eat her breakfast.
Emi sighed in exasperation and just continue to eat while feeding Alice, "This is really delicious. Thank you for this, Chitose-san, Yuuna-san."
Chitose smiled and just waved it off, "No need for thanks, its my job after all."
"R-Right! Chitose-san is the one who did most of it! No need to thank me Emi-san!" Yuuna smiled in embarrassment.
Sagiri was staring at Emi this whole time. There's no any meaning behind it, she was just curious as to who she is as Ashiya called her Hero Emilia.
Not anyone can just have the title Hero, especially at this era. Sagiri only knew one Hero currently living, and that was her grandfather.
Her grandfather earned that title after he singlehandedly pushed back an entire battalion of Youkai army from China and stop them from stepping foot on Japan.
She wondered, what did this girl Emi do, to earn that title.
She looked at Nonko, who, even though was showing a laid back and chill appearance, was definitely thinking about it also.
"My liege, I'm almost late for work. So please excuse me." Ashiya stood up and bowed his head, "Thank you for the meal, Chitose-san, Yuuna-san."
Alex stared at Ashiya before he nodded. Ashiya immediately left after that.
Their breakfast continued peacefully after that, and after a few minutes, Alex is finally full and decided to return to his room.
Emi followed soon after while carrying Alice with her.
"So...mind telling me just who exactly is Alice." Emi asked as she took a glance at Alex from the corner of her eyes.
"Hmm?" Alex hummed, "Well, do you really want to know? She's actually one of the reason why Lailah was being by the other angels."
"Of course I do. She managed to stop my Holy Sword, not to mention she came out from a fruit."
"Hmm, I guess." He nodded, "Do you know about The Tree of Life, or Sephirot?"
"What's that?"
He flicked her forehead.
"Ow! What was that for?! Are you looking for a fight huh?!"
"Are you really an Angel?" Alex sighed and shook his head, "Anyway....The Tree of Life is said to be the Tree that make up the world. It bore ten fruits, Keter, Chochmah, Binah, Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malchot, and each of them holds a different aspect of the world."
Emi's eyes widened, "Don't tell me...Alice is..."
"Indeed," he nodded, looking at Alice who was looking at him with a smile, "Alice is one of the ten fruits, the Yesod to be exact. And the reason why she was able to stop your blade—aside from her power of course, is because your Sword, Better Half, has a fragment of Yesod forged into it."
"...My...sword.." She muttered.
"Indeed, and the reason why Alice is calling you mother is probably because...no, forget it. I might be wrong anyway." He shook his head.
He stopped walking as he finally arrived in front of his room. "Let's go."
Emi followed after him, and the very first thing she noticed wasn't the scenery, but her Celestial Force, it was rapidly regenerating.
"You—" she stared at Alex's back with wide eyes, "Your magic wasn't gone at all..."
Alex remained silent and just stared at her.
"Mama! Mama! Let's go play?" Alice tugged her mother's sleeves while pointing towards the playground.
Alex built one inside the pocket world, because sometimes Alice will feel bored just chilling on the sofa and watching TV.
Emi stared at Alice who was looking at her with a wide smile and sighed, she nodded. But not before giving Alex a look that says they have much to talk about.
"Papa! Bird! Bird!"
Alex smiled, as he took out a metallic looking bird from Judecca's storage space, and put it on the ground before he took out a remote control.
"Here you go."
"Waa~! Mama! Look, look!" Grabbing the remote control, she pressed a button as the bird flaps its wings and levitates a feet above ground.
Alex made this artifact for Alice when she watch some birds on Animal Planet and wanted one.
This artifact is, of course not that simple, its imbued with flight magic that allows it to fly at a maximum Mach 1, made from a durable Ore he made that could withstand even a missile.
Not only that, this Robo-Bird could even fly even on Earth's Thermosphere, fire paintballs, ketchups, and mayonnaise.
"Ooh, impressive." Emi smiled before she glanced at a bench and sat down, putting Alice on her lap.
"Eehee!" She grinned as the bird began to fly higher, "Papa, gazzira! Show mama gazzira!"
Alex nodded as Emi just looked at him confused. Then, Alex brought out a one meter tall lizard-like monster. Alex made this after he saw how much Alice likes the Godzilla after watching Shin Godzilla.
And, just like the bird, this "toy" is far from normal at all. It weights around a hundred kilogram, durable enough to come out unscathed even if it was to be met with a hydrogen bomb.
This "toy" also possess a consciousness through the use of Spirit Magic, though its not very intelligent. It could also fire a chilly sauce.
Each of these "toy" are topnotch and Demon King guaranteed. After all, for the daughter of the Demon King, only the best can suffice.
"Mama watch!" With that, she controlled the bird to attack Godzilla, who retaliated by firing chilli sauce.
Emi was staring at the fight blankly and a stiff smile.
While Alex seems to nod his head, satisfied with his work. He will have to clean this up later, but its nothing to worry about.
"You!" Emi finally snapped back to reality as she glared at Alex, "What are you thinking giving these things to Alice? Are you even thinking at all?!"
Alex scoffed, "She's going to be my heir, so she should learn as early as possible. Why do you care?"
"There's no way I'll allow that to happen! One Demon King is already enough, I won't allow Alice to be the queen!"
Alex internally smirked, "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?"
"Tsk! I'll make sure that she'll grow up to be a kind and gentle person! There's no way I'll allow you to influence her!"
Alex shrugged, "Do what you wished."
"Oh I will, mark my words!"

Alex was currently inside the Landlady's storehouse, finding some things that might interest him. After all, the landlady has lived for a very long time, she should have gathered a lot of useful things.
And so far, she did indeed. She even has a jar of water that came from the Fountain Of Youth, but its defective since even memories will revert back.
Alex actually managed to improve it using Regeneration Magic, it was quite easy actually.
She even has a familiar red spear that was leaking an absurd amount of killing intent, good thing it was sealed.
He also found a familiar red dragon gauntlet that allows whoever used it to double their power infinitely, that is, if they can handle the power of course.
It wasn't really that strong on Alex's opinion, he have Evolution Magic, which not only allows him to evolve his physical ability, but also magic.
He also found a glass tube with a pair of red eyes with three tomoe. Though he wasn't interested on it that much.
As he continue to search for some things, he suddenly found a wooden slab with some writings into it. It was reeking of spirit energy.
"Hmm, if I remember correctly, this should be that item that allows whoever used it to be possessed by a random hero of the past."
He observed it clearly, before he suddenly thought of something of something as he glanced at the red spear which was sealed by a powerful seal.
He took it and placed it down on the ground before he studied the wooded slab for a few minutes.
Then, he started drawing some characters from the language of Ente Isla around the spear.
After he was done, he placed the slab in front of him and released his magic.
He began to feel a very powerful spirit about to possess, but he made his preparations and used spirit magic.
He increased the output of his magic until the entire storehouse was dyed in crimson light.
After a few moments, a body to materialized in front of him. He increased the magic even more as he grinned.
Now, the body which seems to be almost transparent now became solid and clear. It was a beautiful young woman with long purple hair, wine red eyes, wearing a skin tight purple leotard that shows off her curves. She gave of a noble and regal aura similar to a queen, but also a warrior.
The woman blinked as she looked at Alex, "Where am I at? Young man?"
Alex nodded and praised himself. He did it, he successfully summoned her. The Witch of Dun Scaith, the Queen of the Land of Shadows, the Warrior-Queen, the Feared God Slayer.
