Chapter one: Discovery

Sora's P.O.V:

I passed through the forest trees with Emily right behind me, Yeah she was faster than me but what of it?!, I'm just a child. Give me a break. Anyways, Emily was catching up quite quickly and I needed to escape somehow- I looked around trying to find one way to escape the evil Demon behind me. Until suddenly I felt something hard like a rock, I immediately fell down, I covered my face to not scratch it up or at least dirty it up.

I growled harshly, I felt my face burn up, hopefully, I wasn't showing anything. I didn't want them to think I was just a weakling, though I may be. I looked back, I saw Emily back away immediately, then I looked In front of me and saw this girl, she was probably shorter than me, she had this type of brown Curly hair but it was messed up a little. It seemed Puffy. She was wearing a dark green dress, at the Chest to her stomach was brown from her dress like some sort of hard protection for the chest to her stomach. Her dress covered her arms. Of course, it seemed long for her. Her dress finished right at her knees, at least that's what it seemed from me.

I sat up and just studied the girl until she looked at me with this What seemed like a death look. She stood up looking straight at me. "Y-You know...You could've harmed it!" She said with this squeaky voice, it was cute, yeah, but it would be super annoying if you had to deal with that 24/7, Anyways, the girl pointed at something, I followed what she was pointing at and saw a Rose. "U-Uh...Pardon? How would I have harmed it? You're the one who literally made me fall! Plus, it's just a stupid Rose!!" I said standing up straight to show power and show that I wasn't scared to speak my mind. I was also forcing anger in my tone even though I was about to tear up...Leave me alone okay? I'm just a child!!!, The girl seemed to get more tensed. I could really feel her just looking at me, staring into my soul. I even gasp from fear and me just being scared to talk now, just because of that look. It scared me.

That's not mostly the scary part tho. Her eye color was somewhat pink. I couldn't even say anything, she then looked down and sighed. "I-I'm Sorry..n-names Cherry Berry...Weird name I know..." she seemed to be playing with a piece of her hair. She seemed much more shy than Demanding like before. She looked up at me, I kept looking at her, her cheeks seemed pink. wait is she blushing?! Wh-, a figure got right next to me, it was Emily, of course. She suddenly Slipped her hand next to mine, holding my hand tight that I even Whimpered from the pain. "Yeah nice to meet you Cherry, but we got something else to do, My name's Emily and this is Sora, now can we keep playing sora?!" She exclaimed proudly and her tone even seemed to put more pressure on cherry, it was very easy to tell. I don't know why she was acting like this...Her voice was kinda squeaky as well but more calming.

I looked at Emily and tried my best to not just move away, it was embarrassing for her to just be holding my hand, " Just end this please..."I thought to myself. I looked at Cherry smiling, she did seem quite adorable and might even be fun to play with so why not give it a chance."Wanna Join us cherry? I don't see anyone else with you but just that rose" I couldn't even finish my sentence without her even blushing and me holding in my Laughter. Suddenly Emily pushed her chest against my shoulder. I looked at her confused, I even felt my face burn up a little. "W-wha" I couldn't even finish my sentence before Emily being annoying and pressing her chest against my shoulder a little more.

Of course, I needed to look at her, I looked at her up and down to see what she wanted since I was freaked out. She didn't even have anything there so I don't know if she was trying to embarrass herself or try to show off something that wasn't there. "I'm not gonna play with a random nobody okay? she could hurt you! Plus, remember. You are my bestie! I don't want some girlie girl stealing you away from me after everything we have done!" She exclaimed with a Quiet tone for Cherry to not hear. She even kissed my cheek!, I didn't really know what to do but just look at her, I was actually feeling super weird and I just wanted to break her in half. I looked back at the cherry, she was looking at me and Emily both. She seemed more standing straight, the reddish from her cheeks seemed to disappear.

Cherry's P.O.V:

After meeting these two kids, I kept feeling and trying to hide what seemed this weird Emotion...I felt my chest burn a little when I saw the girl...Emily...I think? Kiss Sora's cheek, hopefully, I got the names correct. I finally just stood up, yeah I haven't talked to at least a couple of people like us...for years! I mean..It did happen since they are also destroying the planet and things with fights..."I would actually love to Play with you!" I smiled, I kept looking at Sora which of course Emily didn't like, she seemed like she was gonna kill me but I kept on looking at Sora, I kept feeling my face heat up.

"Great! What you wanna play then Cherry?" He asked me, it made my face burn up even more. His voice was deep, smooth, and calmer. He had black curly, somewhat messy but cute hair, he was wearing A T-shirt that had red and blue stripes. He was also wearing Blue Jeans with red Stripes. I suddenly felt more of my face burn up while I kept checking him out. "Maybe we could just play Hide and seek! But this time watch where you're going! You could step into one of the flowers!" I look at Sora and smile, wanting him to know that it was just a joke.in the corner of my eye, I could immediately see Emily, she looked angry. I just whimpered and tried losing Focus on her. She was wearing the same clothing as Sora but the color was a little different, instead of it being red and blue, hers was black and purple and she did look quite scary and I wasn't gonna even try to trigger all her buttons.

Sora seemed to just be looking around, he seemed confused, as if he was Checking out the Surroundings. "Eh. Why not? It'll be fine! But just warning you! I always win at games!" He exclaimed, he stood up straight. He seemed a little confident as well. "Challenge Accepted then! May the best winner win!!" I smirked, finally! New friends, Though Sora, seemed more Friendly and more confident. He did seem quite adorable than the other people, suddenly Emily raised her hand, making both Sora and Cherry look at her.

Emily's P.O.V:

I felt my whole face heat up, I felt like I was just swimming in Lava!, what in the world does this girl think she's doing?! We just met her anyways! I'm not gonna let this girl take Sora away from me! He's mine and only mine!!!, I immediately raised my hand up. "I call for being the hider!" I tried my best to sound innocent and tried smiling at cherry though it was quite hard. "Same here! So cherry! You're it I suppose!" Sora then looked at the cherry, he had that adorable smile. His cute voice as well! He was so handsome to..I swear I just wanted to kiss him!

"Okay! I'll be it! That way The round could go much faster!" The squeaky voice said then covers her eyes, counting already. I didn't even have time to even remember her name anymore! After all, when I and Sora go off..I'm sure she'll just see how..... close...we are anyways. I got close to Sora, Sora took a step away from me, of course, he was looking around. Maybe for a hiding spot? But...Why is he acting like this?! He loves me! So why can't I even get close...?!, I grabbed his arm before he could take another step away from me."Come on Sora! Let's begin hiding!" I pulled his arm and started leading him to an opening that was surrounded by flowers and trees. This way...Cherry will see how happy we are together...She'll love the surprise!!!.

Sora's P.O.V

Once Emily began pulling me away, I looked back to see cherry. She was counting already...I mean, she did look quite cute..thank god she's not a cheater like Emily...It'll be much more annoying, I smiled and kept looking at the cherry when suddenly I bumped into Emily, I blushed a little since it was kinda in a bad position. I was too close to her for comfort, she looked up at me and even smiled, I could feel her chest pressing against me, Like I said before. There wasn't anything there...But when your chest is pressing against hers, it did feel nice but it was sort of...Bad, I didn't like it at all!, Emily then tackled me down. I groaned loudly as I was slammed onto the grass.

I looked up at Emily as she was completely on me. I whimpered softly, not really knowing what to do then suddenly Emily began to sit down on my lap. I knew what she might be planning, I felt my face heat up immediately. "E-Emily...Please get off me! I don't want this and we are just friends, plus we are quite young!!!" I said with fear, I didn't know how to escape the monster this time...She was literally on me!!!, Emily kept looking down at me and even smiled but this time...It was a different type of smile, it seemed to have a little effect. "Yeah but~ would you rather do it with me or someone like a cherry to do it for you?~" she lowered her head a little to my neck, I felt this anger inside me, I don't know why...But I just wanted her to stop!... I mean we are 12...We're way too young...Plus she isn't even my type!, I take a deep breath and finally get the Confidence to say.

"Emily. We shouldn't do this! You know that I wouldn't let either of you do it! Plus." I put my hand on her shoulder gently and pushed her away. "we're playing with Cherry...She can't find us like this!..."I kept pushing her away until she was completely off, she looked at me with those eyes...It was so cute...But I had to fight back...She smirked and tried pulling my head towards her, she closed her eyes...I knew what she wanted but I couldn't do it...I was too much of a baby to do it. I kept fighting back and finally covered my mouth and coughed... "No Emily, I'm sorry but no."

I stood up which made Emily stop and let go of me which was relieving, she then stood up angry, her Smile changing into her growling. It was super loud as if she was getting ready to kill me. "No!! We are gonna do it either you want it or not!!!" She growled and pounced but I moved away to my left quickly, when she slammed herself on the ground. She growled and sat up, looking at me with such confidence and determination in her eyes. I began running as fast as I could. I kept running. I heard Emily running by the grass, the rustle of the grass made me know if she was right behind me or far away from me. I kept running. I even felt my heartbeat from my chest. I feel as if I was gonna lose energy at any time if I didn't lose this crazy girl.

I ran through the tree's, running as fast as I could. Trying to find somewhere to hide but it was barely possible when Emily kept following me. I rarely had any time to find it. I kept running and heard Emily say. "Stop running!!... Please Sora!... This isn't a game anymore!!!.... I need-" her voice suddenly trailed off there but I kept running until I tripped on a rock and fell down on the ground, I covered my face by putting my arms in front of it so I could just harm my arms, not my face. I groaned loudly in pain. I picked up my head immediately once I heard a branch Break in front of me. I looked up and saw. Cherry, she was looking down at me, her hand out for me to accept. She was trying to help me. Huh, I guess she and Emily are different after all. I held her hand and got up with her help. I looked behind me and didn't see Emily at all. I then looked back at cherry. As if she was reading my mind. "Found you, now let us find Emily." She smiled, her cheeks turned a little red. I nodded and began walking towards where I and Emily were before with Cherry next to me.

Emily P.O.V:

I was chasing Sora until I saw this huge pack of dogs. "Oh no..." I whispered, of course...Hunters...Stupid normal humans!. I tried running faster to the other side, even if I ran towards the forest. They'll find me..I have to stay on the field for at least someone to know I'm here..but I kept slowing down due to how much energy I have been giving to Get him... "stop running!!... Please Sora!... This isn't a game anymore!!... I need-" I suddenly got pounced onto the ground by the dogs, they began to pull on my clothing to stop me from moving. but I kept kicking them and trying to pull away. "...S-Sora help please..." I tried screaming but the dogs started getting more aggressive. I whimpered and tried kicking them, punching them, and even trying to fight back.

Suddenly, I heard some sort of whistle, the dogs pulled away and I quickly took the chance to Runaway once more. The dogs began barking again but this time I heard footsteps, much bigger than the dogs. I heard the grass rustle more from the Movement of the creature. I looked back suddenly and saw 2 men running with the dogs.

they both had arrows and bows. I gasped scared and tried running faster. The dogs started chasing me once more they kept barking and getting rougher, they got faster. I began crying which slowed me down. Right when I made it to the Trees at the other side, which could hide me quick. I felt this sudden pain in my back. It got worse which made me stop running. I looked down at my stomach as the arrow went right through my body, the arrow went all the way from my back to my stomach. I gasped out loudly in pain and collapsed on the ground.

The dogs quickly caught up to me, they were about to bite down onto me again but the man stopped them and signed them to not attack. I looked up at them and whimpered in fear, I kept gasping and Panting for air...I know what might happen...and I'm scared...I don't wanna see dark forever...I don't wanna..., one of the men picked me up and smirked. "We could use her you know...She is quite beautiful,

I'm sure that she must have friends or at least a family to Try to look for her! So let's try something out no?" He exclaimed to its partner. The other man nodded, they then started Taking me deeper into the forest...It hurt so much...I couldn't move anymore...I felt so tired...I looked up at the man who was carrying me...I then closed my eyes...Too tired to even open my eyes anymore...Just sleep...

Cherry's P.O.V:

I kept walking right next to Sora, I couldn't help but just blush. We were both talking about our past and such but when it was gonna be my turn...I wouldn't know what to start with. "I just met Emily a long time ago. We do live next to each other so of course, we gotta be friends...We quickly just clicked you know...So.Got any friends that you might wanna talk about?.." he said with some kinda guilt. He then looked away which made me feel as if it was sort of awkward question. "Well..No I don't really have any friends. I just took care of my mother's flowers before she just...Um..fade away you know...So I never really had time..." I began playing with a little strip of my hair feeling more nervous and scared of his reaction.

As soon as he opened his mouth.. we heard some sort of scream right in the grass opening. ".. W-wha...Do you think..." I asked and looked At Sora who kept looking around the area. "I don't see her....maybe it's some other poor Victim..."He said and immediately looked at me with easily showed fear in his eyes. His voice seemed more panicked than calm. "We must check it out at least...But we'll have to be careful...You don't know if they're out there...." I looked at him then looked forward towards the Field. I checked around first. Sora got right next to me but a little more front.

We were right next to the first two Trees that lead to the forest. Right in front of us was a huge field, it was full of grass and flowers. Yeah, it was beautiful...But it was very dangerous due to humans trying to harm us at any shot they get...We were more different from them. We had powers, they had Weapons. They were more advanced, more style while we just have more moves in controlling our new rules and the way we were raised by. The names that we could be called in the human world...They were scary.

"I don't see anyone so I believe it is alright to Cross," Sora stated with a little smile in his face, it was cute that he was a little happy...due to Someone getting hunted...But oh well!, "yeah, I think so too but stay by the flowers as well..I'm pretty sure I would be able to start some sort of protection if anything happens.." I took a step forward and began walking through the Field. I heard Sora right behind me. We both knew not to run Immediately since this spot was always the target. "You know..After we find Emily, we aren't gonna ever gonna play hide and seek ever again!" I laughed a little but it did sound bad due to the situation but Sora laughed as well...His laughter was quite cute but I shouldn't really get attached, they either leave me or just Fight with me 24/7.

We kept walking through the field and it was actually very good walking through all the grass and flowers. We began to walk a little faster. It was quite awkward not talking the whole way but it was quite worth it to not get distracted by our own voices and then get killed because of us talking way too much, finally, we passed through the Field and made it through the other part of the forest.

I was too scared that I actually held my breath the whole way, it was hard but as soon as we would get to the other side. I was able to Breathe it out. I pressed my hand against one of the trees. I gasped out loudly which even made Sora look at me and it was quite obvious that he was holding in a burst of laughter. "You know, it isn't fun walking through some death trap!" I told him angry but a little flustered. "well, I'm sorry that you can't do it completely Princess." He said but was pointing at my green dress, he was of course leaning against The tree smirking, just trying to make fun of me, I then looked away embarrassed, looking forward towards the rest of the forest...Till I found some red spots on the ground.., "U-Uh...Sora you'll want to see this..."

Sora's P.O.V:

"U-Uh...Sora you'll want to see this..." I heard Cherry said it with such fear and some sort of Hesitant in her voice. I stood up straight confused and stood right next to her then saw the red spots. Maybe blood?...Probably from the hunter...Or maybe...Shit, I began running quickly like before.i heard The branches that fell from the tree breaking underneath my feet, I couldn't stop running. I even heard Cherry right behind me. Trying to catch up to me but she was heard far away. She was yelling my name and telling me to stop but I kept running. I felt my heart beat like crazy. If it was the person I thought it was then I don't know what I'll do...I kept running through the trees.

I couldn't hear Cherry anymore, I began to tear up while running. Then suddenly stopped to take a little rest. I pressed my arm against the tree. I kept pressing my forehead against it. I kept panting like crazy then I looked more deep into the forest..There was this cave..And right in front of it..Was Emily, her clothing was torn up but it was just enough to cover her. She had a whole arrow that poked out through her stomach. I rushed to her, not caring about anything else anymore. I kept looking down then finally Kneeled down. Putting her head on my lap. "H-hey...E-Emily?...Y-You there?!..." I began shaking her, she opened her mouth but she didn't talk at all, she was shaking aggressively.

Suddenly I heard footsteps and looked back immediately, it was Cherry. She then stood up right next to me. She looked down at Emily. "Oh no...I'm so sorry Sora...." she said between gasps and pants. She was running her way here after all..I held Emily tight not wanting to let her go..Till I had this sudden thought....It's Cherry's fault...If she never suggested to play that game...Maybe...Emily will be okay, I kept looking up at Cherry. She was looking away probably crying from the scene..She did look disappointed. I looked down to Emily who had these hopeless eyes and tears coming down her cheek. "I-I'm so sorry Emily...w-who did this tho?!....Was it a hunter?!..." I kept asking her desperately, I kept crying and feeling my own tears going down my cheeks.

I suddenly felt this anger inside me, a new feeling after a while. I kept growling and looking down at Emily. I felt...Very Mad.., I heard Cherry back away . I looked back at her and she seemed scared. "...S-Sora calm down please...Y-you're getting mad and..." she said between gasps then looked down, I growled harshly a little more and looked away from her. It wasn't her fault!!! It was mine!! If I hadn't left her then she'll be all fine!!! She'll be safe!!.

then suddenly I heard Cherry scream. I looked up at the tree and there was a branch that was in fire, it started to spread to the base, the tree began to spread tree to tree. Cherry immediately grabbed onto my arm trying to pull me into the cave. "Come on!!! We have to go now before the fire gets on us!!" She said with the most hardest pull she could do which made me lean onto Emily a little. "No!! I'm not leaving Emily!! She shouldn't be here at all! She doesn't deserve to die like this!!" I pulled myself back fighting against her own pull, suddenly there was a loud some what glass break.

I looked back where the fire was and there was a branch there on the ground, but the ground started to turn into ice immediately. I looked back down at Emily and gasped, her eyes were closed now. Her whole breathing was gone. Cherry noticed the whole view and Picked me up while she still could. "Lets go now!!" She started pulling me to the cave. I kept trying to fight back to grab Emily but when I looked back. Emily was already frozen. "No!! Stop!...We have to save her please cherry...."

I looked back at her but when she looked back..She seemed more determined to take me inside the cave than leave me there. I then looked at the trees, they were filled with fire, the fire was high as hell! The ground was completely Iced!, Cherry then pinned me against the Cave wall to keep me from Getting away but I kept trying to push her off. I kept tearing up. Wanting to just grab Emily. "Listen to me!! I swear when we get out of this nightmare I will let you save her but for now! You are the most important thing to save!!" She exclaimed, basically yelling at me. I blushed at the last Part but kept growling and trying to push her away.

The ice began to Go rapidly fast towards us, the fire spreading everything to the point that we almost even got burned from it all. Cherry quickly looked back at the entrance of the cave, her eyes glowing green out of a sudden. A huge pile of stems...At least that's what it seemed like, started to appear, covering the entrance quickly. They were about thousands of huge Stems covering it completely. When Cherry let me go though. I quickly rushed the try to break the Stems but it was impossible, when I touched them they were ice cold.i then noticed these huge Black marks all over my Arms, my hands all over...It was all my fault..

I began crying a little but tried my best to hide them. I looked back at cherry who was just standing there. She looked as if she was out of breath...She saved my life...She wasted her energy to save me...After everything...I even blamed her and she stayed there....my new friend..
