Exploring the house (2)

What appeared in her vision was a pair of two elegant but deadly looking swords.

She was instantly mesmerized by the cold, bloodthirsty blades and couldn't stop herself from touching them.

Instantly the fair skin on her finger was split open by the razor-sharp edges and blood seeped onto the swords.

A brilliant light started to envelop both Luna and the swords.

Information started appearing in her mind.

This divine weapon was called 'the double God Slayer' and as a divine weapon it would power up when it's master did.

They could be fused together into one single sword and could also transform into two daggers.

"Divine weapon! You formed a contract so easily with it. You really aren't normal, are you?!"

Draco's eyes stared incredulously at Luna and he suddenly felt a strong sense of pride.

It was the right choice to form a contract with this demoness, he believed that with her they would be able to overcome the most difficult situations.

Luna reached out to grip the handles of the swords and a wicked smile bloomed on her face when she felt a strong urge to kill from those blades.

"I really found a treasure this time, these blades are totally my style."

Seeing the combined bloodthirsty aura of the swords and Luna, Draco couldn't help but shiver as his blood turned cold.

He really felt like he saw the ruler of hell right before his very eyes.

Draco didn't dare imagine what those swords would look like after powering up, how much crueler could this aura get?

Luna changed the two swords into two daggers and placed them into the leather boots she was wearing after which she left the room.

After exploring the house further she discovered a lot of empty bedrooms but also quite a lot of sealed doors.

Draco had explained that the barriers on the doors were power barriers and she would only be able to enter those rooms at certain cultivation ranks. Thinking she had seen everything, she was ready to leave when her eyes spotted a camouflaged corridor with four doors that were also sealed.

"Those doors are different, they are protected by a strong blood barrier of the beast lineage. It looks like this place used to have four guardian beasts."

While listening to Draco her eyes started to read the name tags that were hanging on the doors.

Double headed serpent, thick skinned monkey, sharp teethed rat and cold blooded black Panther.

Without knowing why, she felt a sense of familiarity when she read those names but she didn't want to wreck her brain over it so she let it go.

Because she was a little detracted, she tripped over a stone and as she braced herself for the hardness of the wall she was surprised when she passed through the wall only to land on the ground.

It was a hidden room that looked like it hadn't been used in a thousand years with dust everywhere.

When she looked around she saw a long old shelf with pill bottles against the blackened wall and a pill furnace in the center of the room.

Seeing the pill furnace Luna's face turned a little disappointed. Looks like she will have to make pills the old way.

With technology being non-existent here, she understood making pills would take a longer time and her full concentration.

She picked up the tattered old book that was lying on the ground next to the furnace and started casually looking through it but the more she did, the wider her eyes became.

"The pills here really are magical." she muttered with clear surprise. She recognized the ingredients of one of the pills.

In the world she came from it was a simple painkiller but here it healed surface wounds instantly and deeper wounds in about an hour. She didn't see Draco look at her with a shocked gaze and only turned her attention to him when she heard him say in a trembling voice, "Do you know about pills?"

After seeing Luna nod faintly he almost fainted.

Pills had been lost for so long and this woman looks like it's no big deal at all for her to know.

From Draco's reaction Luna could deduct that pills would cause a huge uproar if she brought them out.

She had no information about pills in the former Luna's memories but she thought that that girl just wasn't interested.

She never imagined that her knowledge in medicine would be of this much use, she really was lucky.

After thinking about everything Luna had planned how she was going to spend her time in the month leading to her return to the Lane household.

She will spend her mornings studying the medical books and learning the art of pill refining, in the afternoons she would fight demon beasts to train her body and get used to using spiritual energy. To feed herself, she would use the meat of the beasts she killed and in the evening she would cultivate.

As it was the late afternoon now she left her space to fight demon beasts after threatening Draco to continuously cultivate without stopping.

After all how could this tiny weak beast relax while she was working her butt off.
