13 Exploring the house (1)

The edge of the Pullus forest was completely deserted which was proof of the terror the people felt for this place.

Even so, at this moment, a young girl with stunning looks entered the forest without hesitation.

"I'm quite curious about this place and about the looks of demon beasts. The memories I received only had the information found in books but not the specifics, I wonder what surprises will await me."

Luna had a wicked smile on her face while speedily moving between the trees in search of a place that she could make into her base camp while staying here.

After half an hour she found something that fitted her expectations perfectly, an empty cave that was camouflaged by high bushes and had a lake nearby, she quickly entered and after she double checked the safety she decided to sit down and enter her space first.

Luna immediately felt refreshed after breathing in that pure, fresh air filled with energy that was only present in her space.

"You! Why did you make me wait so long."

A little salamderish animal who looked highly aggrieved with his tearful eyes, made its way towards Luna and climbed on her shoulder in a matter of seconds.

Looking into those big round eyes and seeing Draco's worry and loneliness in them made Luna feel a little guilty towards that little friend of hers.

"I'm sorry but I always keep my promises. Let's go explore the house together. I really didn't think you would get worried about me."

"Worry about you, who would. I only feared that I would lose this place if you were to die. I wouldn't be able to find another place like this easily."

Hearing this Luna's face turned black but it regained its normal color after seeing a faint blush on Draco's cheeks. Hah, this little fellow is adorable. He was so embarrassed about being seen through so easily, that's why it tried to hide its feelings by being overly aggressive.

A gentle smile appeared on Luna's face while she stroked Draco whose whole body was starting to turn into a shade of pink after realizing he didn't succeed in shifting the attention away from his worry.

"yes, yes, whatever you say. Let's go."

Without hesitation she entered the huge house and started looking around. As someone who loves new knowledge, Luna was delighted when she saw that the wall's inside the house were filled with books.

Most of them were medical books so Luna had to fight the urge to keep herself from studying so she could keep looking around.

She discovered that there was a picture on the desk of this room and after picking it up with her soft hands she froze for a moment after seeing a woman who looked a lot like she did, only older.

"Looks like your mother left you this space."

Draco who had seen everything could only conclude this.

Hearing the word mother, Luna felt her heart ache a little. She never had a mother but had always wanted to know what it would feel like to have one. From the memory's she knew that her mother had only been in the Lane family for a short while and died after giving birth to Luna.

She hardened her heart and put the picture down only to be attracted towards a heavy, iron door. Without knowing how, her body had automatically arrived in front of the door and opened it.
