In one of the biggest courtyards of the Lane family a pretty girl was sitting on a bench under a tree with closed eyes and a gentle aura around her.

A maid was on her knees before her making a report, "Miss Regina, apparently that waste has managed to return to the Lane family. She is in the main hall with Master right now."

Regina opened her eyes and a cruel light passed through them as she said, "Never thought she would return alive, Brutus was probably satisfied with her and plans to keep her for a while longer. But it's better like this, I want to see her face full of despair for myself!"

She quickly ordered the maid to inform prince Lucas about this matter, that way he could personally tell her about the broken engagement.

She was looking forward to seeing that waste lose her last strand of hope. While imagining Luna's face, she couldn't maintain her gentle façade and because of seeing the face of Regina become twisted with hatred the maid shivered and speedily went to prince Lucas's estate.

Hearing the news, Lucas felt a little relieved that he could put the matter down once and for all after handing Luna the official document so he rushed towards the Lane family.

In the main hall Marcus wanted to question Luna further about where she had been but was interrupted by the announcement that prince Lucas and the eldest miss had arrived.

Entering the main hall Regina had a concerned look on her face as she rushed forward her body slightly trembling with fear, "Father, I heard Sister came back. Is she okay, she isn't hurt or anything right?"

Regina knew prince Lucas only had eyes for talented beautiful and gentle girls so that was exactly what she showed him every time they met.

Hearing Regina's words and seeing her act, Luna's silver eyes contained a terrifying killing intent but she suppressed it immediately so no one had noticed.

Lucas swiftly took Regina's trembling body in his arms while saying, "Regina you are far too kind, it's her own fault if she were to be injured. She caused a scandal and just ran away like a coward."

Then Lucas turned towards Marcus, "where is she, I have something to give her."

Marcus pointed towards Luna's direction while saying, "see for yourself, she is more than okay, she even learned how to speak."

Because Lucas and Regina were absorbed in their own matters they had only looked straight in Marcus's eyes and hadn't noticed that there was someone else in the room.

The embracing couple turned their heads and what they saw stunned them into silence.

A captivating girl with sparkling silver eyes had entered their eyesight causing Regina's face to turn green from envy and causing Lucas's eyes to fill with raw sexual desire.

Before that shameful couple could ask her who she was out of disbelief, Luna bowed elegantly in their direction and said with a melodious soft voice, "Luna greets his highness and eldest sister."

Prince Lucas couldn't hide the surprise on his face and seeing Luna's alluring body and breathtaking appearance only one thought remained in his head; I have to make her mine again.

He unconsciously released the grip he had on Regina and wanted to slap himself for his stupidity because he knew the King wouldn't go back on his words again, making it impossible to renew his engagement with Luna so he felt bitterness in his mouth.

Someone as stunning as her, even though she was still a waste, could only belong to him but the regret he felt slowly decreased by thinking that surely, since Luna had always loved him, she would be willing to be his mistress if he explained that the broken engagement was his father's doing not his.

Hatred and Jealousy were eating Regina's insides when she saw Lucas's reactions and she knew she had to do something quickly.
