The devil's successor

He saw the figure of Alaris approaching and he could tell that his time here on Earth was already depleted. ***************** Alive at the devil's mercy doomed for an eternity. This man was punished by the devil for conspiring against him. He tried to take the devil's place and ended up getting cursed with misery for eternity. In his heart he still has hopes of going back to his world and taking the devil's place for good. He has nothing in the world that can ever make him smile.
