A faint anticipation built up in Daisy's heart as she walked towards the room and raised her hand to knock on the door. 

''Come in.'' 

That familiar voice made her pause in her tracks for a few seconds. 

The glass door parted open and Daisy recovered from her daze before stepping inside the room. 

She spotted Ryle leaning on the headboard of the bed. The man was wearing his glasses and focusing on the book in his hand. 

"What is it?" Ryle did not raise his head assuming it to be one of his bodyguards. 

However, as the silence stretched, he raised his head and he was greeted with Daisy's face as she stood at a distance, seemingly observing him. 

''You are back,'' she hurriedly remarked when their gazes met. 

Ryle observed the woman quietly. It has been slightly over a week and she seemed to be thinner than the last time.
