I growl under my breath watching my father be all cute with the detective. I'm tired of not being able to tell him who I am. I met him one time in person, I needed a favor and why not go to the devil himself. I look in the mirror and look at my devil face. He did this to me! He doesn't even know about me and I have to put up with this shit. I open my car door and walk over to them. Sorry father. Today is the day your life gets turned around. I walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder.

"Hello father." I say flashing a smile at him. I want to see him shrivel in his shoes.

"Father? Bloody hell, you must have the wrong person." He says laughing going to turn back around talking to the detective. I turn him around harshly flashing my red eyes at him.

"Nope Lucifer Morningstar is who im looking for. Oh and to be more specific he goes by the devil." I say glaring at him. He looks at the detective nervously as she raises a brow looking at the both of us. I roll my eyes and look at him. "Fine want more proof." My face starts turning red and his eyes widen as he looks around pulling me closer to him

"Stop humans are around. You can't show that here, lets go to Lux." He says sighing as he starts walking to his car. Chloe goes to get in the front but I hope in first.

"Too slow." I say rolling up the window. She rolls her eyes hopping into the back seat. Were now at Lux and im sitting at his piano. While him and Chloe are talking about me like I cant here them. I start playing this one song my mom used to play to me. Its called creep, its an underrated song. I start humming along to it. They start talking louder and I roll my eyes. I ignore them and keep playing the song.

"How'd you learn to play?" Chloe asks sitting next to me. I roll my eyes but answer anyway.

"I watched my mom and taught myself." I say blankly. I see my father smile as he grabs a glass of alcohol.

"What about the song?" He asks still smiling.

"Mom said it was the song you were singing when she met you." I say smiling softly thinking about her.

"So whats your name?" Chloe asks and I look at her and grin.

"Lilith Morningstar." I say winking at her. "Nice to finally speak to you in person detective. You look better close up." I say smiling.

"Oh my god Lucifer she's literally a mini you." She says gasping as she looks at him. He smiles likes hes just won the lottery.

"Indeed she is." He says examining me. I shake my head as I start playing another song on the piano.

"Wheres Amenadiel?" I ask closing my eyes. He looks at me with squinted eyes.

"Have you met my brother?" He ask. I nod laughing softly.

"Who do you think gave me a trip back to earth." I say shrugging. His mouth goes wide and he pulls out his phone.

"Oh hes got a lot of explaining to do." He says as I pick my purse up. Lucifer leaves to go talk to him while I look at the detective.

"Tell him I left." I say walking into the elevator.

"Wait your leaving already? Without saying goodbye to him?" She asks. I shrug looking at her.

"He doesn't need me. I just came to get it off my chest, it was eating me alive. I had to tell him but he doesn't have to worry I wont be following him like a lost puppy." Her phone starts ringing.

"Its work. I think you should talk to him first." She says smiling softly before she answers her phone. I look towards my father and sigh. If only he knew about me a long time ago. I leave the elevator and throw my hoodie over my head. It was so hard not reading their minds I wanted to so bad. Especially Lucifers. Next time imma let myself be noisy. The devil gave me this gift for a reason after all.

"Hey miss watch out!" Someone yells before I'm thrown to the floor. I watch the man on the ground as he fires 3 shots and look back at the person who saved me. He has a bullet wound in his head and 2 in his chest. I gasp and my blood boils. I look where the bullet came from and see a man in red running away. I feel my legs go numb as I start chasing after him as fast as I can. He disappears and I look up above me. Hes now on a fire escape he winks at me and waves goodbye before he disappears. I sigh pulling my phone out.

"Yea, um I'd like to report a murder." I say going back to where the body was. People are starting to walk over. I see some people praying and I can't help but laugh. Why humans praise god so much I never understood. I sit down and wait for the cops. I was involved in a murder I can't leave unless I plan on coming up with a reason why I didn't stay. I see Ella my father's coworker. After a month of following him around I know everyone close to him. I can't wait to see Maze though. I look at her and walk closer.

"3 bullets. The second one killed him, the killer was wearing red, had blue eyes, and I didn't see the hair." She nods looking closer.

"Your right about how he died. 3 gunshot wounds the second was a headshot." She says. Chloe walks over and asks about the case. She notices me as Lucifer walks over and his go wide.

"Why are you here?" Chloe asks.

"He urm saved me." I say looking at him sadly. I just got back to LA why is someone trying to kill me already? "I didn't really see the killers face just a glimpse of his eyes and clothes." There was something weird though, I read the killers mind and he seemed scared shitless. One thing he said that caught me off guard was "hes gonna kill me" I don't know what thats supposed to mean.

"What do you mean! This was meant for you Lilith?" Lucifer asks and I nod. He sighs looking at the detective. "Shes not allowed to leave our sight."

"What? Why not? I know how to handle myself besides I'm not scared to die again." maybe that was a lie. The time I did spend in hell wasn't to bad the only thing that was bad was dad was no longer in hell so none of the demons believed me even after ive shown them my true face. That and who would believe he had a daughter. Its been like a thousand years since I was born. A thousand years since ive seen my mother. Im brought out of my thought to my fathers voice.

"Because I just found out about you, and if I have to go all the way back to hell just to get you so be it." He exclaims.

"Okay relax, first I wanna know if anyone has a grudge against you?" I shake my head yea. "Okay great lets start with them."

"You sure. Ive met a lot of people who didn't like me." I say snickering. She rolls her eyes at me and looks at Lucifer.

"Yea I'm not surprised. You definitely have your father's attitude." She shakes her head looking back at me. "Tell me who you think would do it."

"Im honestly not sure ive done a lot of shit." I say rubbing the back of my neck. Something clicks in the back of my mind. "Actually it might be someone I've worked for." I think back to when I was working on the missing person case of Cassie Evans. He was the only person to get away.

"Worked for? What do you mean by that." I roll my eyes.

"I track down missing people. One case the man got away. I haven't had time to look for him. Besides the girl was safe so I didn't really care."

"Okay what was his name we will start with him." Lucifer says.

"Nathan Grim." I say with squinted eyes. I can't wait to get my hands on him.

"Okay lets get back to the precinct so we can look in the database." Chloe says walking to Lucifers car. I roll my eyes at her, don't she have her own car? I watch them walking away going to walk back home before I hear my father.

"What are you doing? Lets go your coming with us." He says and I groan.

"Im good. I don't need a babysitter I'm older then your little girlfriend here." I say glaring.

"Just get in." He says sighing. I groan again before jumping into his car. I look at my reflection in the window and my devil face starts to appear. I look so horrible like this, no wonder my father likes Chloe so much. Shes seen his face and all his worst moments. I wish I had someone like that. Someone to rely on, even thought I'm not to fond of her I understand. I look at my father to see what hes thinking.

"Older then my girlfriend? How old is she?" I snicker. Im pretty old he would probably be mad I've never came to him until now.

"I don't think Lilith likes me very much." I sigh okay maybe I should be a little nicer. I don't wanna scare away the detective.

We walk into the precinct and I follow them to Chloe's desk. After like 20 minutes Dan walks over to her with papers and she smiles at us.

"We found the sucker." She says before we leave the precinct.

"Okay Lilith you stay in the car. We will be back." I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Did you really think I was gonna listen to you." I say snickering. He looks at me shocked before groaning.

"Fine lets go. Stay next to us the whole time." He claims before getting out. I roll my eyes before getting out also. Were at a hotel, hmm this is where the asshole was staying. We walk up to the front dest an Chloe shows the lady the badge.

"What can I do for you detective." I see her face start to sweat and I look around. Something isn't right.

"Were looking for this man could you tell me what room hes in." She says and the lady swallows harshly.

"I've never seen that man. Do you have a name." She says. I glare at her and she flinches away.

"Look for Nathan Grim." She says. She scans the paper of people with her eyes before looking up.

"Nope sorry no Nathan here." I listen to her mind.

"Please believe me please believe me." She says and I can't help but wonder why shes hiding him. Maybe he has a family member or something.

"Thats clearly a lie. Why are you lying?" Chloe says. I smile guess shes not as dumb as she looks. The lady looks around before looking back at us.

"He has my son." She says. "Hes only sevenI'm scared of what he might do to him." Her voice starts to break.

"Okay ma'am we will get your son back I promise."

"I got an idea." I say before walking away. Chloe calls for me but I ignore it. I see a lady wearing a room service outfit. I smile before knocking her out. I steal her clothes before throwing a blanket on her. Sorry but I need it. I knock on his door in the room service outfit and sigh. I look like an idiot.

"Who is it." I roll my eyes before making my voice sound different.

"Room service." I say and a few seconds later he opens the door. I smile before kicking him to the ground. I see the boy looking terrified and I nudge my head towards the door. "Get out of here kid. Your moms worried." He nods before rushing out. I look back at the man whimpering underneath me.

"Just take the kid I promise it wont happen again."

"You said that last time. How you got away I don't care but this time your going down." I shove his head into the ground with my foot. "Now tell me why did you try to kill me?" I ask feeling my blood boil.

"What? What are you talking about." He says and I listen to his mind. He's telling the truth so that means he didn't do it. I groan taking my foot off of him. He goes to stand up but I kick him in the face.

"I didn't say to get up did I?" I ask before turning around to my father.

"Oh go on don't stop because I'm here." He says with a smirk. I look at him blankly before shrugging.

"He didn't do it, you can still take him in for what he did to the boy though." He nods before Chloe puts the handcuffs on him. "See you in hell Nathan." Hes lucky he wasn't looking when my devil face came out he'd probably be going crazy.

I sigh before getting into the elevator. Great still got a target on my head so I better figure this out on my own. The door was closing and I see a foot stop it. I look at the face of the person the shoe belongs to and gasp.

"Hello Lilith. Missed me?"

"Logan? What do you want. What are you even doing here." I hear his mind before he even says anything and I back away. Hes the one who tried to kill me. How didn't I recognize him right away before.

"By the look on your face I'm sure you've already figured it out." Logan says.

"I have. Well what are you waiting for?" He stops the elevator. He shoots me in the arm and it hurts for a second before it goes away.

"I knew it. Headshots work but body shots don't." He says. I grab his hand with the gun and put it up to my head for him.

"You wanna bet." I say with a smirk and I can see the fear in his eyes. He shoots and I look at him with a smile. He starts backing away but I stop him. "What? Not so big now?" I ask. My devil form comes out and he gasps.

"Lilith no please I'm sorry. Im really sorry, I'm just doing it because my father wanted me to." He looks at me without flinching and I look at him in shock. Hes seen my face before but when I showed him the first time he couldn't even look at me.

"Why." I ask before going back to normal.

"He said you ruined my life and it was my turn to ruin yours." He says kicking the gun towards me "I really didn't want to do it." He says and I nod.

"You still killed someone so your going to jail. Tell them what you told me and maybe just maybe you wont be there for the rest of your miserable life." I say as I start the elevator. I look at him on the ground and he looks defeated. I don't feel bad though evil gets punished no matter who you are. He wasted someones life now hes gonna pay.

"Okay." He says. He stands up standing next to me. He's really just gonna turn himself in? The elevator door opens and the detective and my dad look at us.

"Bloody hell. We were looking for you. What were you doing with him." My father asks glaring at him.

"Relax case solved. He did it." I say before leaving the elevator. "Imma go get his father. Since he did participate after all."

"No you wont. Dan got it don't worry about it." Chloe says before she handcuffs him.
