Be my Consort

I blinked at him in utter disbelief.

"What did you just say?" I asked numbly uncertain that I had heard clearly.

"Be my consort." He said.

I eyed him up and down. "My gods. The rumours are true. The vampires just have really lost their mind!"

"You are bound to me Angel." He said. "From the moment you stepped into Nocturna."

I pursed my lips. "Yes I understood you already, but if you think I'll stay and-

"You killed one of my men." He said.

That stopped me right in my tracks.

I blinked at him.

I knew it, I knew that he was just lying to me. He was pinning me on the murder of someone who had died back home in Elmir.

Probably one of his men.

"You bastard!" I snapped. "You lied to me! You want to be the one to punish me don't you? You said that you knew I didn't kill anyone and yet you're here telling me that I killed one of your men?"
