120 Chapter 54: The Scheme

Hey there beautiful people Good MorNight! It is 12:53 midnight here so it is literally Wednesday now and as promise here is the new Chapter 😁. I have been reading all your comments. Thank you as always for the support and also for all your power stones. I recently got an offer for this book last month (That made me really happy because someone noticed my story). I have been thinking about it very carefully cause the offer is very tempting to be honest but I'm also thinking about my readers who supported me, I don't want to leave you all guys hanging. So I'm currently thinking whether or not to accept it. Anyways I will keep you all posted but for now here is a new Chapter. Next update will be on Saturday.

"Who is that man sitting inside the President's office?" Asked the lady.

"You must be the new one here. That man is the President's brother. He sometimes comes to his office to submit reports and stuff. He helps in managing his brother's business. Ever since he started working here a few months ago things have become more stable and somehow the business is slowly gaining what it had lost before." Explained by the other woman.

"He's cute, is he still single?" The woman looked at her with so much amusement.

"For someone who's new you have a lot of guts to hit on someone you just recently saw a minute ago." Another woman but in the conversation.

"Why? am I not pretty enough?" Jokes the woman.

"Yes you are pretty but...."

"I'm just saying that he's pretty, I don't mean anything about it."

"Are you the new secretary?" Another woman who's eavesdropping asked.

"Yeah Diane by the way." Everyone greeted the new comer who just recently started working just two weeks ago.

"Diane I hate to break it to you but I think you should give up with the younger brother."

"I'm not hitting on him but why should I give up? Is there something wrong with him?" She asked.

"You'll see when he walks out of that office." Another woman. answered her question. Minutes later Dexter walk out of the office the woman's face almost fell with what she witnessed.

"Yep he is so don't even bother asking." The woman who's sitting beside her said.

"But he's an Alpha or is he an Omega?" Diane asked.

"An Alpha." One of the girls answered.

"It's possible so don't even asked it's just that cases as this are rare." Another woman added.

"Then who's the father?" She finally asked.

"We don't know we hardly see him with anyone other than his brother and father."

"His partner probably left him. You know how other Alphas react after they got their Alpha partners pregnant." The other woman added.

"How many months do you think he's expecting?" Diane asked.

"I don't know I think it's already 6 Months." the woman guessed.

"It's more like 7 months." a voice from behind answered.

"His tummy looks little for 7 months. I think it's still in it's 6 months." The woman persistently said.

"No it's in its 7 months." The voice insisted again.

"How are you even that sure?" Diane asked.

"Cause my Doctor just told me." All the girls looked behind them and saw Dexter smiling at them.

All the ladies felt ashamed and apologize for gossiping about him behind his back. Dexter didn't really mind, he already got used to people talking behind his back specially after his tummy became huge. Dexter finally made peace with the fact that minding them will not be good for him and his baby. A sound mind is a sound body, that's what he always tell himself. So if you can't bear them join them.

"No that's actually ok, I don't mind." Dexter smile at them.

"It must be hard handling this on your own." Diane sympathize.

"Hhhmmm pregnancy is quite hard but my husband is always beside me making sure that me and the baby are both ok." The people in the office who finally heard the answer to their unanswered questions almost drop from their seats.

"You are married?" The woman from the other table asked.

"Yes." Dexter showed them his ring

"With an Alpha?" The woman in front of him asked.

"Yes." Dexter chuckled at the questions. "He's a great Alpha, I bet a lot of women specially those Alphas and Omegas hated me cause I got myself a fine Alpha."

"Is he finer than you?"

"Definitely finer than me but that man can only love me." Dexter said, boasting his husband to others.

"Want to meet him?" Dexter figured it won't hurt to show to the employees there his husband. It will literally die down all dirty and ugly speculations against his pregnancy and also people there will know who Lee is specially when he visits him to his brother's office which highly likely to happen any time soon.

All the people listening and curious on who might be the Alpha that has the balls to take responsibility of another Alpha's pregnancy and not just with the baby but also to the one who's carrying the baby.

"Hey I thought you said you will be going home now?" Dexter looked at his brother who saw him talking to his employees.

Dexter just shrug at his brother's question. "I change my mind. How about I treat everyone here to a lunch?" Everyone in the office cheered upon hearing it.

"Are you sure everyone here?" His brother asked, Dexter just ignore his brother.

"Will a delivery be ok?" Dexter asked. Everyone agreed.

Dexter pulled out his phone and dial a number. "Lee honey, I won't be coming home for lunch, can you go call for a take out for me? I'll eat here, also can you add take outs that's good for 50?..... No I did promise the employees here to treat them their lunch for today..... are you sure? I thought you said that you will be very busy since your vacation just ended..... Hmmmm will that be ok to Teakyun? Ok then be careful." Dexter ended the call.

"Is he coming?" His brother asked.

"He is, he said he will bring it himself." Dexter smiled playfully.

"You are scarry and cunning. You did this on purpose."

"Yeah I did. I keep asking him to extend his vacation leave but he said his brother has been nagging him to come to the office 5 days earlier than the schedule." Dexter simply explained with the hint of anger to his voice.

"The fact that you are smiling as you said that is making it more scary."

"I think a lunch with my husband's won't hurt that much. Teakyun will have to understand but if he won't then I'll call Theo." Dexter explained.

"You are really pissed with your husband returning back to work 5 days earlier than what has been agreed for."

"Do I look that pissed to you?" Dexter asked. "Go get me a chair my feet hurts they are a little swollen." Dexter asked his brother.

"Sir is his husband scared by him?" One of the employees whispered to Dexter's brother.

"It's more like his husband just loves him too much that my brother is so spoiled."

"Man I'm going crazy here! I thought you said that you will help?" Jules complained.

"Yes I did but as you can see my wife is still here. What kind of help is it that you wanted?" Terrence asked.

"Tsk just because you're ok now you are leaving me again on the side." Jules Mumbles.

"Ok, Ok what kind of help is it that you wanted?" Terrence asked.

"I don't even know what kind of help or should I be asking am I doing the right decision consulting with you? Cause right now psychiatrist is the best person. I'm going crazy by the minute! See this?" Terrence look at the bandage on his cousin's arm.

"Yeah where did you even got that from? And why do you have so many injuries?" Terrence finally see all other bandages and plasters on Jules face and other parts of his body.

"I told you that I will stay away from him right?" Jules asked.

"Yes you did. So how was it?" Terrence asked.

"It was hell! After two weeks of not seeing him because of the job you asked me. My mind suddenly hot wired and do all sort of crazy ideas of following him and watching over him from a distance! A dog even bite me!" Terrence was really trying hard not to laugh. It has been only 5 days since the last time he saw his cousin and if his memories serves him right Jules was still fine back then but judging from how he look right now there is one answer to that.

"Do you know how you can be better?" Terrence asked. Jules suddenly became silent for minutes before asking.

"How?"

"Confess to him, Court him and make him yours...."

"Fuck man don't say shitty things as that! Why do you think I took a time off from him huh? Is because I don't believe in such things! It's making me cringe Terrence!"

Terrence can't help but to laugh it is clear as a day that Jules is still in denial stage.

"For man who grew up in a warm and loving family you sure take the concept of love coldly." Jules glared at Terrence statement.

"Say the man who was a man whore before he met Chester and the man who became a man whore again when Chester left and a man who was about to become a man whore again if it wasn't for his friends knocking some sense from that dull, pessimistic and stupid mind of my oh so genius cousin.... Aaawwww why do you have to throw me that? Do you plan on adding more injuries on me now?" Jules said sarcastically.

"Yeah if you don't shut up I really will! My wife is just here sleeping and you keep on spouting nonsense!" Terrence whispered shout.

"Ow you're afraid of your own ghost aren't you little Terrence... aaawww.." Terrence and throw him an apple.

"Damn it T! I'm just telling the truth! You were a bigger flirt and a whore than I am back then, who do you think I took this behavior of mine after?" Jules argue.

"That was fucking ages ago you moron! Do you want my help or not?" Terrence asked.

"Of course I do! Terrence what should I do? I don't want to end my bachelor life! I don't want to go to the dark path of being a trained obedient dog like you are to anyone. I don't want to pledge my loyalty to just one hole aaaw awww stop aawww..."

"Are you done? Are you done you rascal?! You are making it sound like a torture den. Jules if you give in believe me it is far from that dark description of yours." Terrence throw him almost everything that's in the fruit basket.

"Hell yeah! You are like a slave to Chester, you follow him, you do everything for him and you are revolving your world around him that's why whenever he leaves you crumble. I don't want to be like that! Nope never, nope!"

"But you are already in there." Terrence point out.

"No that's impossible! You are joking right?" Jules asked.

"No I'm not. You misses him right?" Terrence asked.

"Yeah."

"You can't sleep because you keep thinking about him?"

"I have been having a hard time sleeping recently. I'm lucky enough to even get an hour or two hours of sleep."

"You deliberately can't do things because he keeps on popping out of your mind."

"I took an indefinite leave after my force leave cause I keep making mistakes at work."

"You have this urge of wanting to see him and no matter how hard you try you keep finding yourself in a distance where you can see him."

"I had this injuries because I have been climbing trees just to get a sigh of him. A dog even bite me and a car almost run over me."

"You hated it when other men takes an interest on him."

"I already beaten more than 10 people just this week cause they keep on flirting with him. Why does he has to be so damn attractive? He's not even that beautiful."

"Do you want to see him in the arms of another man?"

"Fuck I'll kill that man with my own hands."

"Then that answers your questions. Now go I already helped you." Terrence said shooing his cousin away.

"Damn it T! Is that it? And what do you mean answers all my questions?"

"You love him. You're just in denial. Jules love is not a scary thing. It's true that it can bring you pain, sadness but it can also give you the greatest happiness that not even money can buy. If you keep on being like this you might end up waking up and he is already in the arms of another man."

"No, that won't happen!" Jules greeted against his teeth.

"Then just make him yours already. You might not understand now but you will thank me later."

"I don't know Terrence." Terrence sigh.

"Ok I do get you. You're still confuse, there's no need to rush there. Ow I remember Axel is a good fighter right?"

"One of the best one that I do know, why did you asked?"

"I want to hire him. I want him to teach Chester how to skillfully fight."

"But you said that you wanted to have a baby? He won't be able to learn if he's expecting."

Terrence looked at the sleeping face of Chester. He caress his hair as he lovingly smile at Chester.

"The baby can wait. Right now I want him to be armed and ready just in case he gets in trouble and I'm not beside him nor his bodyguards to protect him. I want him to learn how to fight professionally, I don't want him to just learn the basics but I want him to master Mix Martial arts that can protect himself."

"Then why not trained him on your own? You are good at that, deadly if I must say."

"I can't I'll go soft. One of my weaknesses is seeing him hurt and suffer. I can't go all out if the only thing I have in mind is to protect him."

"Make sense."

"Beside having Axel in our home can help you evaluate your feelings towards him and maybe you can also help my Kitten in the process of his training."

"What about that man? What do you plan with him?" Terrence smirked.

"I promise, Chester made me promise not to look for that man but that doesn't mean I promise letting him go. I'm trying to find any dirt that he might be hiding."

"You need to be very careful. I tried looking but all his records are clean. He is not an easy man to handle if things got out of hand there's a high chance that he might trace you which also mean a high chance of him knowing that Chester is still alive."

"I know that's why I'm the one who's personally handling this case." Terrence can see the shocked on Jules face.

"Don't tell me you..."

"Only for this case. I have accepted it or rather I beg for them to get this case. I can't kill him legally if I did it outside the Organizations jurisdiction."

"You really do plan on killing him?"

"Not just him but all those men who had cause him suffering."

"What about your license as a lawyer? The reason you asked for an early retirement is because you wanted to bring justice using the law and not by bringing the law in to your own hands?"

"I'm protected by the Organization as long as a do things within our rules then that's all that matters and about me killing it's not everyday that I make exemptions to my own rules, beliefs and ethics. They stole what's mine, play what's mine and broke what's mine for me it's like more than enough reason to break my own rules."

"So you're saying that this is a special Job?"

"You can say that."

"Well good luck to you. That's one difficult case, both the father and the son are very thorough with all the accusations being thrown at them. We couldn't get enough proof."

"That's why I'm handling this on my own of course with the help of my father and my brother. How did you think I was able to convince the higher ups to give me this case?"

"Yeah I was also wondering but now that you mentioned I never thought uncle would interfere?"

"Of course he will." Terrence glanced at the sleeping face of Chester. "Chester is like a son to them and he is a family. No one messes with our family and gets away unscathed."

"But you promise Chester that you won't find him." Jules still tried to push his luck.

"Kitten only asked not to look for him. So if I can't come to him I will just destroy him from the shadows."

"Ooohhh shady."

"I want you to watch the news by tomorrow." Terrence said to his cousin.

"What kind of news should I anticipate?" Terrence grin.

"You'll know it once you saw it, for now that's the only thing I'm going to tell you." Jules got really curious cause if his cousin really did came back for this case then it will be the first time he will be seeing him work in action.

"Hhhmmmm Terry?" Chester woke up from his sleep. He was greeted by the smiling face of Terrence.

"How's your sleep kitten?" Chester smiled lovingly at Terrence.

"I slept well and long. What time is it?" Chester tried to look at the clock at the wall and saw that it is almost lunch time.

"Jules, you're here." Chester said.

"How are you? Your husband asked me for a favor to look for someone to train you once you go out of the hospital." Jules said making up excuses for the real reason why he's here.

"Training?" Chester looked at Terrence who wanted to punch the light out of his cousin. He's still finding the right time to bring out the topic to Chester but his cousin just brought it just like that.

"Yes Kitten, it will put me at ease to know that you can handle yourself with or without me. It will be for your own good as well but if you're not comfortable doing it then we can just not do it." Terrence explained.

Chester think for a moment before responding. "I'll do it, I don't want to be weak and helpless. I don't want others to take advantage of me again." Chester said but at the back of his mind there's is one more reason why he agreed and that is.... *I don't want to see that sad broken look on your face whenever you see me gets broken.*

Terrence hug Chester tightly, then seconds later he felt Terrence body shakes as his hospital gown gets wet on his shoulder. "Thank you, thank you, your answer made me so happy." Yes Terrence was crying, crying because of so much happiness that brought with Chester's answer.

A group of men entered the small unit that Dexter's brother has been renting to operate their small business. These men brought in luxurious sets of food. The employees salivate at the sight specially after they arrange the food one by one. They are all expecting an ordinary take out but it's like a whole 5 stars restaurant has been brought to them.

"Your husband really is something else." Dexter smile at the comment of his brother. He really do takes pride with Lee, when it comes to him Lee never gives him anything less, it is always the best.

"Shut up." Dexter just said with that playful smile. Now all the food has been arranged he's looking for the man who made all the deliveries. He did promise him he will deliver his food to him and eat with him but Lee was no where to be seen. Couldn't take it anymore Lee went to asked one of the staff to where Lee is.

"Sorry Sir but we don't know, we have just been asked to deliver it here, we don't really do deliveries but the person who asked of it is a VIP. It has been paid so no need to worry about anything else." The man who introduced himself as the chef answered. Dexter became sad after hearing that.

"Maybe he's really busy, just try to understand him. Come on don't be sad that will be very bad for the baby." Dexter tried to cheer up. He told the employees that they can all start eating. All of them are so surprise and amuse at the same time. They didn't thought that they will have such luxurious lunch inside their office all because of the Alpha's husband.

"Is your husband rich?" One of the employees asked.

"Yeah this are all expensive and to even think that they will deliver just because your husband asked them to. I bet he must have spent lots for these." One of the men seconded.

"Of course he is! Our boss is also rich!" One of the woman answered. All these questions made Dexter laugh and made him forget that he felt upset for a while but in the midst of it he wasn't expecting to see another delivery and this time it was brought by the man he was been waiting for.

"Wow who's that delivery guy?" One of the ladies asked.

"Even if he's just a delivery boy I won't mind being his sugar mommy. Damn he's so handsome!" The other one said.

Dexter has been hearing admiration towards the newly came person. "What took you so long, I'm quite famished."

"Sorry Honey, I still need to cook yours personally. I was not satisfied feeding you other people's cooking so I have to borrow my friend's kitchen in his own restaurant to make you all your favorites." The jaw of those who heard and witnessed almost dropped.

"I thought you won't come." Dexter said.

"When did I break my promise and engagement to you?" Lee arrange all the food on his table and start taking a spoonful to feed Dexter.

"What he just said to us was true. His husband is someone everyone will envy."

"Well my brother got lucky. Lee is one fine man." Dexter's brother answered after that he walked towards where Lee and Dexter is.

"Are you going back to your brother's office after this?" He asked.

"Hey, ow about that yeah, I still have a meeting this afternoon so I need to go back after this lunch." Lee turned his gaze towards Dexter who's eating. "Dexy honey what time do you plan to go home?"

"A little later I guess." Dexter answered.

"Ok just don't come home a little late ok or I'll be very worried. Tell me if after 5 you're still here then I'll just drive to pick you up here." Lee turned to his brother in-law. "Brother if he's still here by 4:30 in the afternoon don't let him go home by himself, I'll pick him up myself."

"You really are over protective sometimes." Dexter hit Lee lightly on his shoulder.

"Of course how can I not be over protective with my life." Everyone who heard how Lee usually sweet talk Dexter can't help but scream and tease the two.

Lee came back to the office after his lunch with his beloved wife, on his way he saw this shop display pants for pregnant people and one display caught his eyesight and that is the denim jeans that has a manly design far from the cute colorful flowers and hearts designs in that shop. The Jean is more on the manly side but the catch is that it was clearly designed for pregnancy. Lee make a stop on the shop and discover that they do sell Alpha male pregnancy clothes.Lee bought bunch of those clothes. He remembers Dexter that even though the man is pregnant he refuse to wear cute maternity clothes so he ends up buying extra Large clothes and oversize jogging pants. With a smile on his face he walk out of the store with satisfaction and excitement to what his lovely Dexy's reaction will be.

The meeting proceeded as plan. New teams for specific project under Lee's supervision was introduced since Lee has been on leave for almost a month.

"Lee this is Alba Jenkins she and her team will be your partner in the new reality show that we are about to release. Since this project is the biggest project we will release for this year I'm expecting a lot from you." Teakyun introduce the two. The meeting took a while and before they knew it, it was already pass 7 in the evening.

"Damn it Teakyun! Why do you have to drag this meeting for this long? Your wife is also pregnant! I thought you would lie low from being workaholic after you and Theo got back together specially now that he's pregnant." Lee complained to his brother. "And why put me in that project? Can't you just let other people handle it?"

"Hey I intentionally discuss all agendas for this month to save some time. I can't keep coming home late, Theo is pregnant and his pregnancy is quite sensitive. It will be the only time we will be coming home late. Just let today slide and about the project since we are trying to enter the recruitment industry with the use of these reality show that will look for fresh talents of course I can't just put anyone for this. I will be very much at ease if I know the one who's personally handling this will be you. I know it is far from you job description but brother please. If we successfully break in the recruitment industry then we can finally have our own talents, people and artist of our own. It will broaden our business perspective." Lee sigh no matter how much he hated it but his brother is right. When it comes to business plans and ideas Teakyun really is the man fitted for the job that's why Lee is not even in the competition with his brother when it comes to rightful heir of their parents business not that he's interested. Teakyun is naturally gifted when it comes to this.

"Wait! I think I left my paper bags in the office." Lee said.

"Just get it tomorrow." Teakyun said.

"No I need to get it today. They are all important, they are all for Dexy." Lee ended up going back to get the paper bags that contains all those clothes he bought for Dexter. When he got it, he went on his way out of the building when he noticed a sound in one of the rooms in the office lobby. He took a peak and saw that one of the vaults that is the smallest vault in the building is where the important documents are being stored is open. So Lee decided to see if someone was still there. He went inside the Vault he looked around and thought that no one was there so he decided to just get out and lock the vault but someone suddenly screamed. Lee run towards where he heard the noise which is at the back of the shelf. There he saw the woman who he had just met during the meeting. It seems that it feel and twisted her ankle.

Lee tried to help the woman.

"Mr. Shun?" The woman asked.

"Yeah, can you stand up?" Lee asked, he tried helping the woman to stand up but she ended up falling and dragging Lee down with her which resulted to her falling on top of him.

"Looks like you standing up won't be a great option." Lee joked around. The woman blushed with what happened specially after she came face to face with Lee.

"I'm sorry." She apologized.

"That's ok, aahhmmm won't you mind getting on top of me?" Lee asked.

"Ow, I'm sorry." The woman tried to sit up to get off on top of Lee.

"I'm going to lift and carry you. Maybe we can ask for help once we are out here." The woman nodded. Lee start carrying the woman in bridal style, they were just half way when someone closed the Vault from the outside which locked both of them from the inside.

Lee put down the woman and run towards the Vault. He hit the vault and screamed for a couple of times but no one answered. The two stayed there sitting facing each other not saying anything. Lee is too busy thinking about Dexter who might be worrying him.

"I'm sorry." It was the woman who broke the silent.

"Ow it's not your fault. After we get out of here I will change all the doors of the Vaults. I will make sure there will be a way out when you get lock inside." Lee said jokingly but at the back of his mind he's seriously going to do it first thing the moment he gets out of there.

"What are you even doing here?" Lee asked.

"Ow about that I'm doing some research. About the project cause this will be the first project I will be handling without my family's influence."

"You're Ms. Jenkins right?" Lee asked.

"Just Alba."

"Ok Alba, you must be hungry here have some." Lee handed the woman a piece of crackers.

"No, you must be hungry yourself." Lee insisted and in the end the woman accepted. She keeps on glancing over Lee, she didn't notice it earlier as she was busy explaining the plan to the board of directors but now that they are face to face she can clearly see just how handsome Lee is.

"Are you familiar with the Jen Corp.?" Alba started.

"Yeah they are one of the top player in the country when it comes to Oil production. Now that you mention it, don't tell me you..."

"Yes my parents are the owners of that which they got from our ancestors." Alba said.

"So what is the princes Jen princess doing and working here?" Lee asked.

"Hmmm I want to seek independency far from my parents influence and the only reason they agreed to let me work here is because your status is much greater than us. It will also somehow helps in promoting my father's business as well in the long run. That's what they thought."

"Well that's good. Independent people are amazing they always amazes me." Lee thought about Dexter, specially how independent Dexter is that sometimes it scares him.

"Do you like independent people?" Alba asked.

"Yeah they are admirable." Alba's heart races with what she heard from Lee. She can clearly feel the heat from her face travelling down, spreading to every part of her body then the next thing she knew is that the shock look on Lee's face as he covers his nose.

"Alba are you an Omega?"

Chapter 55 Sneak peek

"Who are you?" The man was quivering from the fear. All his men who put up a fight end up lying lifeless on the ground and all those who beg for their lives were spared but when he begged for his life the man in Black didn't even let him go. Instead he slowly tortured him by slicing the katana that he collects to his body. He's already loosing blood from all the wounds he got.

"Does it matter to you who I am when you are about to die?" The man in a black suit asked.

"What did I do wrong?" The man asked. "Why are you doing this?"

"You mess with the wrong person that's what you did wrong. I'll purge everyone who done him wrong one by one starting from the lowest till the person in mind comes to me by himself..... That is if he can ever find out that it is me."

"Please have mercy, I'm begging you." The man in Black suit pulled the man's hair and whispered. "You will send me a message and that message will be you so put on your best expression." The man swing the Katana towards the man that ended the man's life.

He looked at the sword soaking with blood and his hands filled with people's blood. The scent of iron lingers to his nose. It has been ages since the last time he had seen, feel and smell the same scenery. He thought that the moment he walked away from this kind of life that it will never come back but life is full of surprises. He didn't know that the circumstances of his life will force him to go back but he's sure it is not something he will ever regret specially if it's for someone that he love the most. He used to do this kind of things to give justice to other people but now he's doing it to give justice to his prescious person — his other half.
