104 Chapter 38: Value of a Person

Theo is now looking at his husband working in farm. No matter how harshly his father treat Teakyun the Alpha won't budge even during those times when he got angry to his father on his behalf Teakyun only convinced him to not be angry at his own family. He said that he will definitely going to get their blessings so there he is slaving his self to his family. His white fair skin is now tan due to the excessive exposure to the sun and his smooth hands are now all rough due to excessive labor good thing Teakyun is still as handsome as ever.

"Your father said I will be able to find you here." Theo looked beside him and saw Brent.

"Yeah."

"Why did you decided to be with him when your family doesn't even want him for you. I heard that you have experienced mistreatment when you were with him."

"Yeah but that was all in the past. He's a change person now. The only thing that he wanted is for my parents acceptance. Throwing all away his pride just for a single nod from my family." Theo explained.

"If I knew that you will be snatched by someone I should have told you about my feelings back then. I knew that you liked me too back then so I have been complacent not showing you any interest besides brotherhood."

"I was still young back then I think even if we ended up being together I would still end up choosing him." Theo depended.

"What's with him that made you love him as much as this?" Brent looked at him looking at his husband.

"I don't know too. After the incident of my youth I thought I won't be able to love and trust anyone but Teakyun is different. Even I could not understand."

"So that means I don't really stand a chance?" Brent asked.

"How can you have a chance I'm marked and the only person who has a chance with me is him all along. Even during those times when I thought that the two of us were already over he alone has the chance to be with me." Theo wave his hands when Teakyun noticed him.

Taekyun kissed Theo on the lips when he walked in front of him. "Teddy who's this?" Teakyun asked slightly shooting his pheromones to the man taking claim to his own wife.

"My childhood best friend Brent." In that instant Taekyun stop with what he was doing and his stiff face became soft and friendly.

"Ow why didn't you said so. I'm Teakyun Teddy's husband. Ow my hands are still dirty, sorry about that." Teakyun said embarrassed at his current state. He innerlly promised to treat his friend properly after his work is done. "Let me just wash my hand." Teakyun went away to wash his hands.

"He's.... weird. Are you sure about the man you married to?" Brent remarks made Theo chuckled.

"Yeah very much sure. He's just a little flustered cause he doesn't look decent right now."

"Are you even sure he can feed you properly and provide you with good life at that? What is his occupation really? Is farming the only thing he could do? But what a pheromones seriously your husband is quite scary."

"Ow you'll be surprised to know all the things he could do and yes he's a dominant one." When Teakyun got back Brent decided to treat the three. He even asked Theo's father to taking the two out. Teakyun went back to warehouse where he's currently staying at to take a bath and change to clean set of clothes. He was too busy preparing that he didn't noticed that his wife sneak in.

"Baby." Theo called his husband.

"Teddy what are you doing here?"

"Well I want to see you." Theo looked at his husband's half naked body and let his eyes feast on them. It has been more than a month since they last did it and Theo is feeling hot just by looking at them that his pheromones start producing.

"I went to the farm." Theo lied. His father was not convinced with Theo's excuse. He knows that his son is with Taekyun he can tell by the scent of Taekyun's Pheromones on his son.

"We'll get going now Uncle." Brent said.

"Take care." All three hump in to Brent's car. True to his father's words. Brent really is no longer that same kid. He is now financially well of and have few assets with him that he got from his work which pays him handsomely.

"Ow I forgot to tell you that this will be a two days and one night trip. Don't worry I'll just buy you two all the necessary things since I wasn't able to inform you ahead of time." Teakyun doesn't want to assume things since the man is Theo's friend.

"Don't worry I can pay for both of us." Teakyun said politely. He may look like poor now but it still doesn't change the fact that he's still the president of a multi million international company.

"So Teakyun what do you do for a living? Well me I'm a game developer in a big company. Thanks to that I now have 2 houses and 3 cars." Certainly Teakyun was not wrong the man was trying to bring him low to Theo's eyes but he knows that Theo knows better.

"Well I make money for a living." Teakyun simply answered not that he was lying but it's true that he makes money for a living after all that's what he's good at. Living a poor life make Teakyun realized that richness and power puts value to a person to shallow people but when you are with the right person no matter how poor you get that value you have to that person's heart will never diminished not even for a little.

Brent pass it on as a joke but he seriously feels pity towards the Alpha. Doing a job in his Father in law's farm does not really make decent pay. Which makes Theo quite pitiable too maybe that's also the reason why Theo's father couldn't accept his husband cause he doesn't make much for a living. The three pulled over in a restaurant to have lunch of course Brent only the best and expensive cousins in the restaurant. When the three are done eating Brent asked for the bill but Teakyun said that he will pay for it instead.

"No need for you to pay for it I told you it was my treat. Just save that little money of yours."

"Mind if I join you?" All three looked up and saw a woman in front of them. The woman's eyes landed on Teakyun she instantly noticed the handsomeness of Teakyun but the clothes that he's wearing is not something that tells her that the man is loaded so basically lost her interest. She didn't even glance at Theo.

"Rachelle what are you doing here?" Brent asked nervously

"Well you have not been answering my calls so I followed you here only to find out that you have been hanging around with an Omega." Rachelle coldly said without an ounce of consideration with all the words she has been throwing at them.

"Just sit. By the way this is my fiance' Rachelle. We are done eating so have you eaten yet?" Brent asked Rachelle.

"Yeah so where's your next destination? I'll go with you three." And just like that all four of them are inside Brent's car. Not that the wedded couple mind.

An awkward silent spread inside the car but Rachelle tried to break off that silent by starting a conversation. "So Theo we have finally met. My fiance' here has been talking about you. I was really curious about you back then." It didn't go unnoticed to Theo when Rachelle emphasize the word fiance to her statement.

"Yeah the two of us has been friends when we were little. It may have been late but this man over here is my husband." Theo pointed Teakyun.

"Yo!" Teakyun slightly raised his hands like confirming he's the man that Theo is pointing out.

"So you are married."

"Married and marked by him." Rachelle looked at the couple at the back through the rear view mirror and saw how Teakyun placed his hands protectively around Theo's waist. Theo rested his head on Teakyun's broad chest feeling and hearing the beating of his heart that puts him to calm it didn't take him long before he dooze off to the wonderland of dreams.

Theo was waken up by Teakyun. "Teddy, Baby you need to wake up."

"Hhhhmmmm did we arrived?" Theo asked.

"No but we need to stopped by to get ourselves with basic necessities. We didn't bring any to wear and use after all. Also your friend's Girlfriend doesn't have anything to wear either.

"Hhhmmm ok."Theo got up and all four of them got out of the car.

"Why don't you two go see the man's section and buy clothes for Teakyun and Theo and I'll go with Theo to buy basic necessities." Rachelle suggested. Theo doesn't want to cause he wanted to be with Teakyun. It's not everyday that he gets to be with him because his family is slaving his husband but in the end he agrees with the woman.

"Teddy take this. Use this to buy anything that you want don't worry I already arranged everything with that so there won't be any problem when you use that." Theo knows what his husband meant so he accepted the wallet which Teakyun gave him.

When Theo and Rachelle are already alone together the woman asked him random questions. "So what does Teakyun do for a living?"

"He makes money for a living." Theo just simply copy what Teakyun answered earlier. "But he works in my father's farm right now." The woman thought that Teakyun is poor for the man to work for a living to his in laws farm. Theo didn't mind the woman and just grab himself a cart and start filling it out with basic necessities that him and Teakyun will need. He choose the things that will fit his husband's taste. The woman eyed his cart.

"Don't you think that's too much? I mean that brand is quite expensive if you ask me. I know it cause I bought Brent those things one time. I just fear that the money your husband gave won't be enough." Theo throw the woman with an 'I don't give a damn look' and then proceeded in putting the after shave to his cart. "Don't worry if my husband's money won't be enough I have my own but I highly doubt that his won't be enough."

Taken a back with Theo's action she took out her phone and the. called Brent she informed him that Theo and her will also buy the clothes so there's no need for the two guys to do it. Teakyun doesn't really mind cause Theo has his card not that he can't buy anything without it though.

Since the two have nothing to do Brent decided to stroll around the mall and Teakyun just followed the man. Brent went inside a jewelry store and looked at the watch that caught his eyes. While he's checking the watch out Teakyun roam around looking at the different kinds of jewelries in there. He thought that maybe he could find something that will look good on his Teddy and there it was. A loop clip thick black gold earrings with engravement on it with the use of very tiny stone that from a far would look like lines of glitters while the other one is also a clip earring which seems like two loops because of the space in the middle designed with small tiny stones.

"It would look good on him a perfect pair for his ring." Teakyun got the attention of the saleswoman and asked to take a closer look for the jewelry. At first the saleswoman was hesitating and refused to take out the jewelry but a salesman came near and take over the customer that no one wants to assist because of the way he dressed. "It is actually a couple earring each one is to be wore by the couple that's why both have different designs. If you opened this and put the other one inside that's when the designs of both will make sense." A word of 'My everlasting love' in an italic scripture with the use of tiny stones can be seen when the two is joined together as one. It's not that obvious unless you look at it closely cause the earrings are tiny anyways but the thought and message is there and he wanted Theo to receive it. "The unique thing about this earrings design is limited to one so you won't find anything of this with the same design that's why the price of this is also quite expensive."

"Hhhhmmm I'll take this. I don't have my card with me but you can talk to this person." Teakyun dialed someone and then told the person over the phone and gave few instructions. Then he gave the phone to the salesman the salesman hurriedly gave the bank details of the store and it's account. While waiting Teakyun take a seat to the customer lounge waiting for the earrings which he bought for Theo.

"Have I kept you waiting?" Brent asked him. "Well I guess you still need to wait a little longer cause I still need to wait for the watch which I bought. It's quite expensive though but it's worth it."

"Don't worry I don't mind waiting." Teakyun simply said he doesn't want to drag on the conversation not that he's interested with what the man had bought for himself. What he's concerning about is how Theo will react to his gift if ever this will be their first couple thing. Minutes later the salesman walk towards him with big smile on his face because he just sold the man a very expensive jewelry. "The payment has been confirmed Sir. Please sign here." After all the documents has been signed the salesman gave him the bag containing the box of the jewelry which he bought.

Brent could not believe that Teakyun could buy anything from that shop. To be honest the watch which he bought is one of the cheapest in the store and he couldn't think of anything which the man bought that is cheaper than the watch which he just bought from that store. When the two manage to walk out of the store Brent couldn't take it and asked Teakyun.

"What did you bought inside? Their items are quite expensive and yet you manage to buy something in there and how come you have so many things that you need to sign in there?"

"It was nothing, just a simple gift that's all." Teakyun said not wanting to explain everything to the man. Since the two have nothing better to do they decided to wait for the two inside of a family Restaurant and after almost an hour they saw the two coming their way. Teakyun got up from his seat and walk towards Theo. He immidiately took all the paper bags that Theo was carrying. Brent who doesn't really want to help got embarrass for not helping his fiance ended up helping her too in the end.

When all four got inside they start their journey once again. Rachelle has been glancing at the rearview mirror looking at the couple at the back specially to Teakyun. The earlier's event makes her question just what kind of man does the Omega has. The amount which they bought is no joke. She specifically bought the Omega to an expensive store and haste him to choose the clothing so he won't have any other choice but to buy from that store. She thought that the money which his husband gave him won't be enough but to her surprised the Omega pulled out a black card. Then was asked for an identification card to prove that he was indeed the wife and that card paid for all which he bought. She looked at them to the rearview mirror and saw that Theo was giving back the wallet to his husband.

"Hold it for me. It's yours anyways." Teakyun said.

"I spent quite a lot today. I'm sorry." Theo said.

"That's ok, I'm working hard so you can spend it so don't be sorry." Then Teakyun leaned in and whispered something to his ears.

"How about paying me with your body instead later. You don't need to hold back your voice anymore later." Theo blushed but he can't deny it that he also wanted it.

"Ok." Then he gave Teakyun a peck on his lips. "My down payment." Theo said.

After that realization Zeejay didn't waste time to fix everything. He had a talked to his fake wife but the former didn't take it lightly. She doesn't want their secret to be revealed.

"You don't understand!" Zeejay shouted he didn't mean to shout at her after all they both had been a partner in crime with the conspiracy to their own fake marriage.

"It's you who doesn't understand anything! If this blows up how am I supposed to face my parents? They will literally drag me to marry me off to another man! I can't be with another man Please." Zeejay hold Nikka on her both shoulders.

"Nikka I also have someone that I love. I have been neglecting and hurting him for years and for me to make things right I have to let you go even if it means being disowned by my own family I won't mind....." Zeejay hug the woman trying to console her. "Listen to me if you really love that man then you should step up and stand a fight for your love either your family will accept it or not you have to make a stand. Personally I take pity towards your man cause he's tolerating you hiding him because he loves you so much."

"What if they won't accept it?" Nikka asked.

"Then I'll ask you a question which one would you think will be more unbearable? You living your life without him or you living your life without your family's wealth and power?" Zeejay asked.

"No I can't ever live without him!" The woman pulled away and throw him a glaring stare.

"Then we both have the same answer. I asked myself the same question and I also reached the same answer. Funny how all my worries can be obliterated completely by one answer that scared me to the bone." Zeejay looked at her with assurance to his words.

"I don't know how it will be for me but I know for sure being with him is not something I will regret in the end. My value as a person or a celebrity might be gone the moment I screw this up but that won't mean anything to me. The only thing that is important to me right now is my value as a person to that special man that I love" Zeejay said, Nikka nodded in response agreeing with Zeejay. I'll talk to my parents, your Mom is inviting me to have dinner tonight in their Mansion I'll tell my parents to got there as well so we could both tell them ourselves."

Everyone sitting at the table had a lovely conversation specially both Nikka's and Zeejay's parents. It was a rare occasion for them all to have dinner all together so both of their parents are very much please at this moment.

"Zeejay dear when are you and my daughter will give us a grandchild? You two are not getting any younger." Nikka's mother asked.

"Yes Son I think four years of enjoying yourselves is enough."

"Mom I'm sorry but such thing will never going to ever happen." Every eyes in the room are on Zeejay's when these words came out of his mouth. "Our marriage is not true and not even legal. Everything is a show to fool everyone in this room."

"Zeejay this is not a funny joke!" His father said in a calm but stern voice. For a moment Zeejay got scared, that's the thing about his father is that the man is scary that till now he fears the man even though he's already adult.

"I'm not joke Dad."Zeejay find the courage to speak back to his father. "I have someone that I love and I won't be able to love him openly if I don't come clean to all of you." Without words Zeejay's mother got up from her seat and walk towards Zeejay calmly all eyes are following her movement as she walk her way with poise towards her son and then....

PAK!!!!

The sound of a slap echo inside the big mansion where Zeejay's parents lives. Jenny can't believe what she was hearing from his son. She can't believe that the marriage that his son has was all invalid and fake.

"I won't be accepting this ridiculous thing. It will put our family to shame if this thing hasn't been resolved. I can't believe you of all people would do such a thing. As I thought you are useless! You are nothing like your brothers."

"Yeah I am nothing like them and I won't be like them. I won't let you to control my life once again. My two brothers were like robots and puppets they don't even feel anything the only thing that matters to them are the business that this family has that's why the two of them has been killing each other just to get a head to the position all the more reason why I choose this kind of career to reduce the rivalry between us brothers to be honest we never seen each other as brothers because that's how you brought us up!"

"You ungrateful son!" this time it was his father who shouted at him.

"If I am ungrateful then so be it. I just want to take over my life. I want to live by my own terms." Zeejay tried so hard to fight for what he wants.

"Do you think if you break ties with us you will still have the luxury of the life that you have been living? No you won't!"

"That's better than to live my life full of regret." Zeejay turned around to leave.

"If you walk out of that door you won't have any family to go back to. We will cut you off entirely out of this family." Zeejay didn't even stop and went straight out of that house out from the cage that has been restraining him of his freedom for so long.

With no hesitation Zeejay walkout of the house and out of their lives. "Nikka we will fix this matter." Zeejay's mother assured the woman.

"No need auntie. I also have someone that I love." Nikka brought the skeleton that she has been hiding out of the closet.

"Nikka!" Her mom shouted at the revelation of her own daughter.

"Auntie I'm thankful for your son fo letting me be with the man that I love and for bearing my secret with him. It was not easy really but now that he has someone that he loves and wants to protect then I guess it's time for me to also do the same thing." Nikka apologize to Zeejay's parents then she turned her gaze towards her own parents.

"Mom, Dad you can be angry at me with all your heart but I just want you to know that I love you both. I tried, I really did try to do everything that can make you feel proud as your daughter but I'm not perfect. I will leave and not take anything with me, my only wish is for you to be happy with me." Nikka got up from her seat and walk out of the house she didn't wait for her parents response because she knows too well that they wont permit what she had done. She doesn't want to hear harsh words from them cause that will totally break their hearts.

That night both Nikka and Zeejay find their way back to the persons that they both love.

Jules is massaging his head right now. He didn't see it coming neither did Aiden. An additional bodyguard near Lander. It wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that it was the same man. THE SAME MAN! He doesn't know if fate is playing around with him or what but.... "Why does it have to be him of all people?!" Axel couldn't hide his frustration when he finally get inside his room. Just earlier the two of them has been introduced to each other and each time the man is giving a meaningful look. He was still in the middle of letting out his frustration by beating up the pillow when the door suddenly swing open revealing the man who's the cause of his frustration.

"What are you doing here?" Axel asked.

"This is where I'll be staying. Didn't they informed you?" Axel got up off the bed and went straight to Lance office inside his house.

"Why is that alpha in my room?" Axel didn't even knocked and simply barge in like he doesn't care if he's talking to the boss.

Lance leaned backward and rested his back to the chair. "Why you asked? Cause both of you will be working for my sons security so I simply want the two of you to have a better understanding and relationship with each other." *And so Jules could properly spy on you.* Lance added to his thoughts.

"But he's an Alpha and I'm an Omega! We can't be in the same room together!" Axel still argue.

"You told me that you have your pheromones and heat in control so I don't need to worry about my son. If that's how it is I think I also shouldn't be worry about Jules being an Alpha but if you are not satisfied with it then you can freely quit." Lance threatened but deep inside. *Please don't quit, don't quit please." He keeps on begging for the Omega to not quit.

"No I don't have any problems with that. I'm sorry to disturb you. I shall retire to my room now." Axel said.

When Axel left the room Lance was finally able to breath in the air of ease. He was still savouring it when his phone suddenly made notification noises one after another. He took it out and there he saw it. Multiple messages to his messenger. It seems he was added to a group chat named {Squad goals: Operation Old Flame}

Terrence: I think I know an explanation with the reason why Liam was able to marry another Alpha besides Lance.

Lee: What?! How?

Terrence: I just happen to came a cross a Doctor which is a witness to the current case I'm handling. So yeah back to the topic. He said it might be because the two are fated pairs.

Adrian: Hey why am I here? And what's this?

Lee: Our friend needs our help so this is the most convenient way to strategize a plan.

Adrian: What plan?

Lance: You do realize that Adrian was asleep when I told you guys what I know right?

Terrence: Somebody please explain to that Morron the situation here.

Lee: Why don't you do it since you are the one who thought of it?

Terrence: @Lee I'm the one who has some information here and yet you want me to go explaining things to that Morron?

Lee: @Terrence then explained to him after you are done with your explosion.

Lance: Enough you two just get to the point!

Adrian: I'll mute this for a moment I'm looking for Nash.

Lee: @Adrian dude you finally grow some balls so are you admitting that you are in love with Nashy baby?

Adrian left the group.

Lee added Adrian to the group.

Adrian: @Lee if you will just going to pester me then I'll block you!

Lee: @Adrian Don't!

Lance: Just let Adrian be if he's still not ready to open up. Instead just focus on mine since I'm desperate and open to all suggestions and informations.

Terrence: So are you guys done now? Can I continue now? (insert sarcastic tone here)

Lee: Ow @Terrence don't sulk just because we haven't paid you any attention. Don't worry all our attention is on you now. Proceed.

Terrence: Anyways said the old Doctor there are three kinds of explanation for this matter one is fated pairs. A fated pair is like an ultimate bond it can make two couples to fall madly in love with one another or so they thought in reality it is more like an instinct reaction than love so even though the Omega was already marked it will instantly nullify the bond between the two and form a bond with it's fated pair. Such case is very rare to find that's why it is almost none existent said the Doctor but there are cases which resulted to Omegas committing suicide even before they lose their minds with the thoughts of betraying the Alpha that they truly love over their own instincts. Second is sould bond it is a bond which makes the two bonded even without the marking once the two destined souls meet an instant bond is form making them unable to form any bond with others. Their body instantly rejects any partner they will have other than their sould bond even the Alphas will reject any other Omega, Alpha or beta the most disturbing of this all is that once the mark is formed the two can't be without each other or be far or away for too long with one another or the other one will lose the will to live even though they don't love the person. It's like their lives are link to one another. And the third one is severing the bond.

Lance starting a group video call....

"That's absurd!" Lance blurted out the moment the call was answered by Lee and Terrence.

(Lance did you see any markings on Liam's neck?) Lance didn't say anything.

(Base on your reaction I guess you didn't. The process of removing the bond is...)

Sneak Peak to Chapter 39

"Son to be honest I have found a solution to severe your bond with him but if I will to choose I would rather you not severe that bond with him at all." Aiden gulp before asking his father. He doesn't know if it's truly what he wanted or not but the incident earlier is making him desperate to severe his bond with Lance. They way his body reacts to his touch, to his scent and to his kiss is all a reminder that he's Liam.

"I want to know Dad. After I hear all about that then I'll decide for myself." Aiden is very determined to know any possible ways on how he could finally be free from the bond which tied him up with Lance.
