Chapter 121: Let me In - Part 1

Hey there lovelies, OK this is going to be a little long update…. Just a little hehehe.

Well the lyric of the song used here is entitled: You by Basil Valdez.

I really love that song, it is really old I think from the 1990's and he is also the singer behind the very iconic Ngayon at Kailanman song or Nor and Forever if translated which was released I think in the late year of 1970's. Ow I really love that song, they sometimes use it as wedding entourage because the lyric is so meaningful and will make you fall in love. I wish it has an English translation so I can share with your guys but let's make do with his song You. You is also one of my favorites to the point if I just so happen to hear it once I will keep on humming and singing it for a whole day!

"Mmmmhhhhhmmmggggg" Jeffrey left out a moan as he open his eyes. "Am I dead?" He said, the room is white and everything is illuminated by bright light of the sun.

"Unfortunately you're not, it's good that you're conscious now." Jeffrey tried to push him self to sit after hearing that familiar voice again but he miserably failed in doing so.

"You have three broken ribs, fractured left arm, and feet. Neck is dislocated and mild concussion. Not to mentioned your heavily beat up body. I think your condition is perfect for your considering that you love to run." The doctor continuously said. "But to be sure that you wouldn't run I took in one of my let say secluded houses and I put chain to you…"

"What?! Ouch!"

"I told you not to move too much." Jeffrey looked at the Doctor who's busy monitoring his vitals. Jeffrey noticed that the room is complete with hospital gadgets that are attached to his body.

"Luckily you didn't injured your spine and your head. I run a CT scan, MRI and X-ray so you can rest assured that everything I mentioned earlier are the only bone which broke during your fall."

"Where's this hospital? I'll call my guardian." Jeffrey demanded.

"If they were good guardian you wouldn't be in such a miserable state. I couldn't even recognize you when I pulled you out of the water. I almost lost you several times good thing I'm a good Doctor. Just to clarify like I said this isn't a hospital."

"That's crazy! What house have such hospital equipments?"

"My house. The one where I brought you before I have other equipments there but just the basic but here I have everything." Though he has to admit he spend large amount of money just to buy all those equipments in a rush cause he's afraid he might overlook something. He doesn't want to bring the Omega to the hospital for various of reasons but mostly he's afraid someone will show up and claim that he's a family.

"I have to go, I can't stay here….."

"And then what? Go out there again? Sell yourself again? Let them tear you limbs by limbs? If you are that desperate for money then why not stay here huh? I'll pay you to stay here and get healed!" Henry shouted, the playful carefree Henry lost his composure and shouted. Henry felt the sting on his face when the Omega slapped him.

"I don't need your money, you don't know anything!" Jeffrey shouted, he can't feel his hand because of too much pain but what surprise him was that the Doctor didn't say anything anymore instead he went out and came back with something on his hands.

"Give me your hand." The Doctor pulled his hand which he used to slap him. "It was a strong slap and your fracture is not healed yet. I didn't know you're left handed. I need to see your hand. It must have been numbing now because of too much pain." Slowly the Doctor's voice is fading and the only thing he can see is the worried look on his face he tries to fix his arms again while putting casts on his arms.

"If you're angry with me use this." Jeffrey looked at the teaser gun he gave him. "You can use it even with your right hand and they are easy to use. I don't want to give you pepper spray my eyes is pretty precious so I think teaser gun is ok."

"You will let me tease you if ever I'm angry?" Jeffrey couldn't believe he's hearing himself asking a dominant Alpha such question.

"Just until your left arm healed. Now don't use it too much and let your arm heal." The doctor smiled at him.

"Until when are you planning in keeping me here?" Jeffrey asked.

"Until you completely recovered but if you want forever."

"Huh?" Jeffrey asked.

"Nothing, just forget about it."

"So have you found that idiot?" Victor asked.

"Fuck! What should I tell to that prosecutor who tool a liking to that bitch." Victor pace back and forth.

"Relax son, he's just one bitch. We have a lot of bitches here who I think that the prosecutor will like."

"Mom, you can't understand. Jeffrey has high tolerance with pain that's why that maniac enjoys fucking that bitch."

"Sir, we found your brother he's dead."

"What?!" Victor's mother stood up in disbelief.

"No that can't be right! He can't die! He still needs to marry that Adrian. We still need to make use of them!" Mrs. Witchburn throw a fit after hearing the news.

"We found a body and the autopsy confirms that it is Jeffrey Witchburn, also the CCTV's shows that he jumped. It was suicide Ma'am."

"How is he?" Axel asked

(He's stable now, he just needs to follow and recover. I know I'm your Doctor and now I'm even neglecting my patient. I even took and indefinite leave of absences. Am I still in my right mind or maybe I'm going crazy. This is kidnapping. I even throw a cadaver on to that sea where he jumped just to make it appear he died. Fuck I'm risking my license for an Omega who doesn't even want to be saved. He's stubborn and doesn't give not even an ounce of care to his body. I hated how he doesn't talk and he's a sadist! I know I gave him the teaser and told him to tease me if he ever feels angry towards me. I thought he won't do it but he just teased me 3 times now! Damn it, it still stings. I even spend that much on equipments arrrggghhh my savings, they are meant for the hospital I want to build.) Axel just laughed at his Doctor who's now very confused towards his own actions.

"Is that Dr. Choi?" Jules whispered, his husband snuck his hand around his waist and rested his chin above his right shoulders.

"Yeah, he's confused towards his feelings. Want to give him some advice?" Axel asked.

"Put him on a loudspeaker." Jules asked the Doctor and he intently listens until it finishes.

"Well that's bad, you got it really bad." Jules said as he nips Axel's neck which made Axel moan unconsciously.

(Are you two having sex?) Henry asked.

"Nope but I'm planning to." Jules answered which earned a slap to his hand.

(Please have mercy to the man who haven't been laid for two months now.)

"Not my problem….. mmmmhhhh word of advice be serious and be true to what you feel or else you will regret it."

"Jules don't tease him."

(Go now, you're just showing off. Bye!)

"He ended the call." Jules checked his wife's phone. "Well…." Jules lifted his wife and gently lay him on top of their bed.

"I'm worried about Jeffrey….. He just disappeared." Axel said.

Jules can clearly remember the face of the man who he happened to talk with when he and his wife got into an argument. He never thought that man was Jeffrey.

"You said he's a tough guy so I'm sure it wasn't intentional. Maybe he made it looked like he died but he's very much alive…. Don't worry too much." Jules kissed his forehead. "What we need to worry is the case. It's not looking too good for us. The judge dismissed the used of the evidences so we need to bring in new evidences."

"I know….. I know, it stresses Aiden that it made him bleed a little." Axel got really sad after hearing the news.

"Yeah Lance was very furious but the Doctor said he's ok now. He just needs to be on bed rest for a week or so. Hey don't worry too much the next schedule of the hearing is a little far so we have time to prepare."

"I just hope things will go well."

"How about you? When are you planning on leaving that work? I'm getting scared that they might noticed you."

"Soon, soon Jules soon."

"So how is Aiden Lance?" Lance visited Terrence, he can't bare to see Aiden laying on the hospital bed. It just tears him apart.

"He's stable now, he's working himself too much. He's handling his father's business and the case at the same time." Lance drink his glass. "Not to mention all the behind the curtain activities just to win this case. I'm starting to wonder in building this law firm business is a good idea, my wife is just too invested to the point he's stressing himself out."

Terrence sigh. "Same with my kitten, that blow during the last trial left a bad taste and it seems the lionesses wouldn't want to let it slide. I don't think I would mind but how many of them are pregnant right now?" Terrence rested his head back to his chair.

"Yeah because even Dexter, Lee has to drive Dexter to the hospital just this afternoon apparently he spotted."

"As if it's not hard to be pregnant, specially if you're an alpha."

"Fuck why can't we even keep our dicks to its place for the mean time until all of these are done. Fuck I'm regretting not using my mind." Terrence said.

"Maybe because they are so sexy and adorable." Lance answered. "So where's Lee?"

"He's with Dexter. Dexter's pregnancy is quite sensitive much sensitive than with Lexter and Lee is very worried." Terrence explained before drinking.

"What about Adrian? I heard what happened." Lance asked.

"That Omega jumped off the bridge. It's not out in the news yet but soon it will. It has already been a week and Adrian just know about it yesterday after the authorities informed him of what happened to his fiancé." Terrence said. "I don't know what will Axel reaction be, after all it's like he's the last family that he has. The authorities have found a body."

" I can't even begin to imagine what drove him to jump." Lance said. "So what should we do? It's like we are starting from nothing after they dismissed the use for the evidences that will tie Victor since it was his father who was operating that time and not him."

"We just need to dig deeper this time, I think we need to lie low for the mean time. I can't compromise my wife and child's health. Thirdy is still in the hospital. I don't want to see Chester feeling guilty over our child. I know he still blames himself for what happened to Thirdy. I'm not even sure if he will wake up ever but I just can't let my son go. Not when I just have him back." Terrence pour his glass another drink. "I left this kind of life to focus on being a good lawyer but fate play tricks and here I am back again."

"Are you regretting it?" Lance asked.

"What's to regret for if I can have Chester and my kids? If given a chance I will chose them over and over again."

"Same….. same…."

"Fuck this is getting really complicated

Days turned to week and weeks turn into a month and slowly Jeffrey has been getting used to their normal routine. His bones are healing and his bruises are gone. He learned that the Doctor's name is Henry Choi. He serves him food, gives him clothes. Help him clean his wounds and monitors his health. No one has ever treated him with care but then again he remembers he's a doctor and doctors are good people specially when it comes to their patients. There are other times when he even ask himself if Axel even look for Henry? But he never ask them out loud, he doesn't want to pry, no more on he doesn't want to know.

"Hey you're up, here come here try this." Henry excitedly said and feed him something.

"It's delicious."

"Is it? Here come sir here and eat. I prepared many. These are all good for your bone recovery. Later I will go to town to buy some groceries. Is there anything you want?" Henry asked.

"Can I come?"

"Su-sure of course, walking is a good exercise."

After Henry wash the dishes he went and tend to Jeffrey.

"Let me just clean your wound." Henry took Jeffrey's left leg that has operation stitches. Yes Henry has to put metal inside in supporting his bone for it to heal faster.

"What's that song that you've been humming. You have been humming that for weeks now." Jeffrey asked.

"Ow this it's my father's favorite song for my mother, before I hated this song but for some reason it got stuck on repeat in my head. Do you want to hear it?" Henry asked.

Jeffrey just nodded.

Jeffrey's heart beat fast when Henry looked at him as he said the last part of the song.

"I'm sorry I don't know the rest of the lyrics just the chorus. I don't understand the meaning of the song before but now I think I do."

"Your father seems to love your mother so much."

Jeffrey saw how his bright smile slowly faded. "Well when I was young all they do was fight. Their relationship was so toxic that when they decided to separate I was really happy. Specially after having a cheating mother. All I wanted was for my father to be freed from her but then I don't know both of them got back together. I couldn't stomach how my father after everything still loves her. I don't get why he still sings her songs as this. That's also the reason I run away from home. I vowed not to be a fool like my parents but I think I just broke that vow."

Jeffrey knows that he broke it for Axel, Axel keeps on telling him just how much his husband loves him.

"I think I just fell, what do you think?" Henry rested his face to Jeffrey's leg as he look up to Jeffrey.

"I don't know, it's your heart so I don't know what you feel."

"He's pretty, he's cunning, stubborn, doesn't smile a lot in fact I never saw him smile at all, he's tough, bad temper, an Omega and he has a bad past but for me I don't feel disgusted by it if I'm being honest I admired him for holding on for that long. It makes me want to protect him so I won't find him in that situation again. He makes me smile a lot, he makes my heart flatter and he makes me look forward to tomorrow. What do you think can it be I'm in love?"

"Yeah, he's lucky…. That person." Jeffrey's eyes looks more empty than usual. He knows who Henry is talking about, he just described Axel. He didn't even bother hiding it—the fact he loves his wife. "I need to get dress."

They went out and walk inside the little grocery store that has no air conditioner. Jeffrey saw fisher men and for the first time he was able to go to the wet market. He saw how Henry negotiate the price of all the seafoods he's trying to buy, the meat and even vegetables and fruits.

"This place, there's not much in this place." Jeffrey commented.

"Well this is a remote province so you really can't expect much in this place. I only bought a land and built a house here to serve as my vacation home. Whenever I want to escape a city life I always go here." Henry said. "You tired? Why don't you sit here for a while, I'll come back once I'm done."

Jeffrey didn't complain, his feet is hurting and he's also a little too tired to continue walking around. But what surprised Jeffrey was before Henry left he kissed him to his forehead. "Is the handsome man your husband? My mother once said that a kiss on a forehead means respect, adoration and affection. My mother told me if a man kisses me on the forehead it means he's highly respecting me."

Jeffrey smiled at the little girl. "Do you think that him and I look good together?" The kid look at him up and down.

"You're a little damage but you'll do. After all handsome uncle looks like he loves you." Jeffrey patted the head of the girl. He smiled at the little girl's response even she can see all the damage in his mess up body but neither the girl knows that he's also mess up emotionally and mentally and that's his sad reality

"So what does he do? My father is a butcher, here if you have lots of meat you are rich. We do have a lot of meat but not for us to eat but to sell."

Jeffrey laughed at the cuteness of the little girl beside him. "Well he's a Doctor."

"For real?! Doctors rarely go here and the nearest Doctor is like 3 hours away from here. Handsome uncle is a Doctor, but we don't have money so I don't think handsome uncle won't see us if we got sick."

"What if I tell handsome uncle? He's looking after me so I think if I tell him he will agree to see you." Jeffrey said.

"Well since you manage to make him smile you can go visit me in my house if you feel anything." Jeffrey wasn't able to sense Henry because his focus is on the little girl.

After Henry gave the little girl his calling card with the address of his house he turned his back and go to a squat position. "Hop in, I'll carry you."

"No I can manage."

"Don't be stubborn it won't be good if this slows down your recovery."

With Henry's persistent Jeffrey ride on his back. He can't believe he will experience riding on someone else's back at his age. As they walk he heard Henry singing the song again, this time he's singing it instead of humming it.

"You have a great voice." Jeffrey complimented.

"Probably got it from my mother, my mother has a great voice and since I hated my mother I stopped singing but since you said my voice is great I'll probably sing again."

"D-don't say it like that." Jeffrey wanted to say that he might get the wrong idea but he stopped himself from saying any further. "I've been meaning to ask, how did you find me?" Jeffrey asked.

"To be honest I don't know, I had this unfamiliar feeling that felt like my heart was about to get broken, I felt anxious all of a sudden and I just found myself driving my car out of nowhere I didn't even parked when I sense your scent I run towards the ocean and swim. I found you at the bottom, thankfully you didn't landed at the deepest part but you were barely alive. You have taken a lot of water... I was able to make you breathe but your body was a mess and you went to a cardiac arrest good thing I already brought you home when that happened….. I am one lucky son of a bitch."

"You shouldn't have saved me, no one will mourn for me anyways." Jeffrey replied.

"I'll mourn for you and since I don't want to do that so please continue living. Honestly don't ever do it again. No matter how difficult your life is never take it away from you."

"Hhhhmmm what if I no longer want it?" Jeffrey asked.

"Everyday at the hospital many people cried, many people begged me to save their lives, prolong the lives of their love ones and yet you wanted to throw it away that easily?"

"You don't know what I have been through to say that to me….."

"I don't want to invalidate your feelings. I don't have any rights nor anyone for that matter but how would I know if you don't tell me pieces of you? How can I help you, if you don't even want to let me in?" Jeffrey wanted to run away but how can he if the Doctor is carrying him.

"I did a lot of things, I didn't just made a decision to kill myself but if you have been living a miserable life and been fighting to stay a live your whole life it gets tiring, specially when you your reason to fight can't even give a drop of affection. I even forgot how to cry, no matter how much I got hurt no tears are willing to drop from my eyes." Henry stopped from walking and stand still.

"Then should I make it my life goal to see you cry? Not from sadness but from happiness?" Henry said out of nowhere.

"Life goal? Why will you stay with me as long as you live?" Jeffrey jokingly asked.

"What if I do?" Henry asked then he continue to walk.

"Don't make it your life goal, I'm leading a very dangerous life where any time I can die. I'm have been long prepared for it since I was a little. If you stick with me Your life might be in danger. You….. you have a great life, you can help other people like me who has nothing. This island that is poor maybe you can help them. Me I wasn't able to help anyone….. I don't have the capacity even if I wanted to but you on the other hand you can."

"If I help them will you be happy?" Jeffrey was caught off guard with the question.

"Are you saying that you will help them because I told you so and because it will make me happy?" Jeffrey asked.

"Yeah as long as it can make you happy why not? We can do a volunteer check up in the area next week, you can come to help and assist me."

"I'm flattered, it feels like I'm the reason why you helped them."

"You're smiling I can feel it." Henry said.

"You're a cheat." Jeffrey hit Henry's back as he laughed a little.

"You should laugh more, I like the sound of it."

Taekyun looked at his brother sitting beside Dexter's bed quietly. He went as soon as he heard. Knowing how Lee is over Dexter he already has a hunch that his brother will be like this.

"I'm wondering if what we are doing is still worth it..." Lee whispered. " I know it's selfish of me to ask this now but seeing how he's over working himself just to help others makes me question if it's worth it to get involved in something as dangerous as this."

"To be honest I don't know, but the only thing I do know is that those people out there needed our help. Dexter is doing his best because you inspired him."

"Yeah which I think I'm starting to regret it. He went as far as to renovate the security of the house, improved his fighting and shooting skills hahaha, he always put my security as his top priority."

"He will be alright Lee, we just need to remind him not to over do it next time….."

"I'm also blaming myself fuck! I should have used protection or maybe underwent vasectomy….."

"Vasectomy what are you talking about?"

"Having a baby is not the right time but still….. I wasn't really expecting it. There's only a little chance for an Alpha male to get pregnant the second time around. I got too complacent." Lee whispered.

"Yeah that's what I've been meaning to ask, how did you do it? How often does the two of you…." Lee throw Zeejay the pillow his hand first reached.

Then they heard little and faint laugh…. "Dexy? Are you ok?" Lee worriedly asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, how's our baby?" Dexter asked.

"The baby is a little bit under stress. The Doctor said to have plenty of rest…. I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry and please don't get vasectomy…. I want to have as much babies as we can."

"I think my heart just dropped." Lee absentmindedly said that made Dexter laugh.

"I'm sorry I made you worried."

"Nothing change, still the same old Lee who's head over heals with you." Taekyun commented.

"Yeah, still worrying too much when he knows full well I can take care of myself." Dexter answered back.

"Totally agreeing, me and the boys still couldn't believe when you came to the hospital laboring and yet we can't see any trace of pain on your face. We all know you were just suppressing it afraid that this little brother of mine will worry too much."

Dexter laughed, "I just fainted that's all."

"And you bled a little." Lee said as a matter of fact.

"Well that's bad news. I'll be careful next time so smile please?"

All three talked together but after some time Dexter convinced Lee to go home for a while to rest and to look after Lexter.

"He's gone now, I'm assuming you have something to tell me?" Taekyun asked.

"You're really quick to pick up. As you can see I'm not allowed to move as freely as before and my husband is not really a fighter so I will be needing your help no to be precisely I will be needing your influence."

"Why not use Lee's? It weight as much as mine."

"If I uses him he will worry. Also I will be needing your men."

"I will give all the things you asked just make sure not to worry that brother of mine and take good care of my niece or nephew."

"What will you be needing my men for? What about your body guards?"

"Let's just say your men are on a little to the bad side, they can do mean and illegal things. Those bastards like to play it dirty so I just want to return them the favor."

"Hahaha whatever you need Dext, whatever you need."

"Seriously just how can you two do it? Pregnancy the second time around? It has only been almost a year since you gave birth! The media will definitely go crazy once they found out about this. You are not completely out in the public and to think pregnant again."

"What can I say your brother's sperm cells are quite tough and persistent they don't want to let go. I have to workout again after I give birth."

"You need to grow fats in your body so my brother will leave you alone." Taekyun jokingly said.

"No can do, as much as possible I want Lee drooling over me." Taekyun laughed at what Dexter just told him, definitely he had never seen an Alpha as brave as Dexter for openly showing just how much he loves his Alpha husband even openly and willingly wanting to give birth.
