~ PROLOGUE ~

LILIAN hopes everything is fine. She would have been happy if only everyone around her was a good person. Her life has been full of trials since she was born, she never thought that until she grows up the life she will face will get worse just to survive. All she wants is to be happy and get the rights that are for her. She wants nothing more, but to live quietly in the chaotic life she grew up with.

She came out of her room without making a sound as she leaned against the wall so that she would not fall over. Her body was weak and her vision was blurred. She has had a fever for several days and her fever is higher now.

Lilian heard Yuri's conversation with her friend this morning, that, she was going to disunite her with her two innocent daughters. She won't allow her to do that. She will be going to die if her children take away from her side.

Her husband's mother doesn't like her since before. And she doesn't want her to be a part of the Gritson Family. Yuri's planning behind her back to ruin her life even more. She was afraid of the things that might happen to her after her wicked plan.

She struggled to cross the gap between the room where her children were. She wants to see them. She was startled when someone suddenly appeared behind her and abruptly covered her mouth with a handkerchief. She tried to remove his hand but she could not help herself move it due to her fading strength.

He forcibly pulled her back to her room. She wanted to shout but she couldn't open her mouth since his hand was covering her mouth. He pushed her hard on the bed so she fell. She started crawling to escape but he immediately grabbed her legs.

"Let me go!" She shouted and stomped her feet. She tried to see his face but she could not recognize the man's appearance. She was already in delirium at her high fever.

She shivered of the cold she felt, accompanied by fear of what he could do to her. She cried out loud when the man pinned her down. She had no strength left. All she knew was to call her husband's name as he recklessly tore her clothes.

She didn't stop to protest but he's big and decisive rather than her slim and weak physique. She didn't know how he gets in. She just only remembers, there's no other man who stayed here at the house, only her husband.

" Stop! Please no! " she begged but the guy didn't listen. He abruptly pinned her down on the bed and eagerly kiss her without a doubt.

She sobbed and let the guy take advantage of her. Lilian just blankly stared at the white ceiling. Why the heaven let this happen? Is she an evildoer, why did God let this happen to her? She didn't blame God, but, she can't keep herself to ask him. All she wants is to be happy.

She keeps praying for countless blessings, but, this is the result that keeps her mind turning into hopelessness. Why on earth, in many people alive, why does she feel like she's alone who truly has this kind of unbearable burden.

The next day, she awoke because of the sunlight rays hitting her face. She stared at the white ceiling before turning her gaze to the man facing the full-length mirror inside the room. He only wears a towel below and she saw the huge dragon tattoo on his back.

She immediately sat up on the bed remembering what had happened last night. He turned his gaze upon where she was stupidly sitting. She couldn't believe it when she recognized his face.

" H-How did you get in?" she asked incredulously.

Demetri just grinned. She can't imagine Demetri will do this to her. She trusts him so much. William might get angry at them if he knew that she and Demetri share the same bed.

" It was an awesome night with you, Lilian. At least, William and I were even now, " Demetri said. She didn't understand what he's talking about.

" If William did to you something you didn't like, why do I need to be involved with your problems?" she unbelievably asked him.

" Don't mind your husband, Lilian. You're already mine, " he said while glaring at her.

They both turned their gaze at the open door and she was even more stunned when she saw her husband's furious reaction. He gritted his teeth in anger when he saw the two of them.

"W-William," she weakly uttered his name.

William suddenly attacked Demetri's face. They were fighting inside the room. They look like fighting bulls ready to attack each other using their sharp and strong horns.

They were still fighting when Yuri came accompanied by the security personnel. Yuri was shocked to see William's forehead was bleeding. Demetri also had a cut on his lips and bruises on his face.

" Get out of my house, Demetri! " Yuri furiously ordered.

" And h-how did you get in? " she added.

Demetri just forced a laugh and can't stop glaring at Yuri.

" William, me, and Lilian had an affair even before. We love each other, " Demetri professed to William.

His words echoed inside the room. It's like a dagger stabbing William's aching heart.

" No! Isn't true, William! " Lilian restraint but Yuri interrupted.

" You're a shameless woman, Lilian! After having sex with Demetri, you are telling us that nothing special between you and him? You're just fooling my son! Stop acting like a decent woman! Because in the first place, you're not pure! " Yuri deeply accusation.

Lilian quickly looked at William. She's expecting that her husband won't believe his wicked mother's accusations. But, she failed.

" I will file a divorce and get ready, " William coldly said to her.

Demetri took his steps away from the scene. He's not going to explain everything. He has finally done what he really wants to happen.

" B-But William, listen to me first", she begged. But William shouts her mouth with a sharp stare.

" I won't believe you! After what you did to me! " he furiously stated and left her dumbfounded.

The tears dripped down to her dumb face. William easily pursued the divorce, because in the first place...he didn't love her ever since.
