12 Chapter 11 — Saved by ex

She neatly organized her stuff inside her messy room. Next, she tidy organized her shoes on the shoe rack, and add some decorations to make them more pleasing to the eyes. After she scrupulously tidies her unit, she picks up the sketchpad and the pencils, she's going to sketch a portrait.

She lightly handled the pencil and started to draw. After a few minutes of sketching, it was unexpectedly figured Demetri's intimidating countenance.

She paused and decided to tear off the page. She threw it in the trash bin. She makes a new portrait but the result looks like Demetri, again.

Again? The heck, what the heck is happening to me?

She felt annoyed to herself. Why she can't stop thinking about Demetri? Maybe, it is just because of some reason.

No. She needs to escape this confusion.

She doesn't want to hurt herself again because of her careless heart. Her fragile heart telling something strange that she never feels about Demetri, before.

Suddenly her cellphone rang. She immediately answered Demetri's call. Her hands are a little bit tremor.

" I am waiting in the parking lot. We're going to my place right...you know about the shooting training," he explained.

" Yeah, I almost forgot. Just wait 15 minutes," she answered.

" Make it 10 minutes, you're wasting 5 minutes of lying on the couch. And...how could you forget our appointment today?" He said in an imperious manner.

" I'm sorry. Don't worry, I will move in a hurry," she apologetically replied.

She moved quickly and changed clothes. She just wearing a printed white t-shirt, fitted blue jeans and a navy blue cardigan.

She hurried out of the room and headed to the elevator. When he entered the elevator, William suddenly appeared and followed her as well. He took a sidestepped to stand close beside her.

She looked in the reflection. She tied her hair into a messy bun and applied nude lipstick. She's a little bit uncomfortable when he noticed that William staring at her reflection.

She turned her gaze at him. He staring at her intently. His stares melting her soul. William raised his hand and used his thumb to gently remove the excess lipstick on the side of her lips. She was stunned and stood there like a spike hammered down on the floor.

William gave her the way to go out. She secretly smiled and hurried to go into the parking lot. He greeted her choleric fake fiance.

" You add over 7 minutes of wasting time," he was time consciously stated.

" Elevator rides," she countered.

" Hope in," he sniffy ordered.

" Yes sir," she gladly answered.

They went to Sylvestre's large ancestral house placed in the countryside. The place is breathtaking. The mansion is located in the middle of the spacious area. It is surrounded by a prosperous forest and green grassland.

This is a good place for the shooting.

Demetri taught her how to properly handle and use the gun. She enjoyed shooting the target after she finally did it alone.

They both fired shots at the same time to hit the target. After they ran out of bullets, they rest for a while. She picks up the two water bottles and gave one to Demetri.

" Thanks, " he said. She just smiled and drink.

" We will stay here for a night," he informed. She just nodded.

She looks at the vast area's wonderful fresh scenery. The fresh breeze of air blowing her hair. She turned her gaze to her fiance, he's busy talking to his business partners. He's a busy person.

She chose to saunter the hacienda. She walked into the woods without informing Demetri. She found an attractive flower solely in the entrance, she took advantage to discover more lovely flowers inside the woods.

She pick up the flower and smelled the scented blossom. Suddenly a colorful butterfly passed in front of her. Due to its fascinating colors, so she followed the butterfly.

She didn't think of the danger that could befall her. When she was about to catch the butterfly, it was suddenly flying so high.

It was only then that she realized, she was on the far side. She turned around. She was too carried away with the lovely butterfly. She no longer knew where the way to go back. She took a long walk but still couldn't find the border out of the woods.

Her anxiety and nervousness were born. She was lost and she wanted to ask for help but she didn't have a cellphone. She shouted in case Demetri heard her, but no one responded.

Unexpectedly the weather worsened and the rain began to fall. She ran to the small hut she had passed earlier. There she chose to stay.

The rain was so heavy and she decided to trespass on the small cabin. She sat down in the wooden chair. She needs to wait for the rain to stop before finding a way to get out of the forest.

When the rain stopped, she crossed the muddy path and hoped to get out of the woods. She thought to find the border, but she found the wrong way.

She noticed the bald forest on the other side and there was a deep hole. She took a step back because she was stepping on the soft ground.

She was even more shocked and aghast when the ground she was stepping on suddenly eroded down the big aperture. She immediately grasps a twig of the tree down to its root.

" Help! Help me!"

She yelled for help but no one can hear her that easily. She's in the middle of the forest, no house and people live there.

She doesn't stop to call for help. She might die if she can let go of the root of the tree. The ridge is high and there are a lot of rocks below.

“ Lilian!” Someone called her name. She didn't know if she was just imagining.

" I am here, d-down below! Help me please!" she weakly replied.

The man immediately peeked out. She was shocked to see him. She didn’t know how he got here.

" William, p-please help me!" She shouted.

He lying down on the muddy ground and tried to reach her muddy hand but she couldn't reach his hand either.

" Wait for a second! Don't let go!" he replied and stepped back a little and remove his belt.

He needs to use it to save Lilian.

" Take this!” he said.

She strained to reach the belt. When she finally reached it, she held it tightly so that she couldn't fall.

William used the rest of his strength to pull her up, but when he reached Lilian's hand the ground he was on suddenly eroded. He didn't let go of Lilian's hand and they slid down at the same time.

William immediately stood up and he helped Lilian to stand. They need to get out of this area because they're in danger. This area is too prone to landslides.

" How did you know that I was here?" Lilian asked immediately while he was assisting her to go to the safe place.

" I heard a scream! And I thought it was you!" He simply replied.

His reason seems unbelievable.
