2 Chapter 1 — Meeting my ex-husband

AFTER William filed for divorce, he was no longer allowed Lilian to see her children. She left the Philippines and she could do nothing but follow her husband's wishes even against her will. She suffered and had no one to lean on for three years. She live in America for three years and had a job there.

Today when she decided to return to the Philippines, the first thing she will do is to find her siblings who were adopted by his father in another family. For a long time, she didn't know where they were, all she knew was her brother Daniel. Daniel was luckily adopted by the Sylvestre family. She wanted to ask for help but she was afraid because of his foster brother Demetri.

She will never forget what Demetri did to her. That is why she struggles so badly. She could not have imagined that he had other intentions towards her and he was able to trample her dignity in front of William.

Demetri was also the reason why she chose to run away. Whenever she sees his face the anger soared through inside her. Who else would be happy seeing the presence of the person who ruined your life especially your married life?

The plane she boarded flew quietly home to the Philippines. Upon landing at the airport, she carefully pulled her luggage and walk towards the exit. She stared at the people waiting outside and was excited to see their loved ones came back into their arms. They're throwing warm hugs that she envies.

She saw them crying with joy and hugging each other like there's no tomorrow. She got decided to left them having their dramas and undeniably affection. She will be more feeling unhappy and feel sick to see them. She is the only one who waiting on herself, no other than that. So, she no longer expects someone to wait and approach her to say,

Hello! How are you? How's America?

As she waited outside the airport, William's car passing by where she's patiently waiting for a taxi. William immediately noticed the unexpected appearance of his ex-wife. He watched her as far away as possible. He will now pick up his girlfriend Santi came from Canada, at this airport.

Lilian waved a taxi but she was surprised when a black car parked in front of her. The window opened and Demetri's serious face lit up. She swallowed her saliva when he suddenly showed up his tricky smile.

" Hop in," he commanded with no doubts.

Lilian ignored her and called another taxi. He has no shame to come up here unexpectedly after what he did to her three years ago.

Damn his demonic existence!

Does he think, she forgot everything that easily?

Demetri motioned to his assistant to force Lilian to get inside the car. The two immediately complied.

Lilian was really shocked when the two men suddenly came out of the car and forced her to get inside. There, they put her next to her rapist Demetri Sylvestre. She wanted to get out of the car but Demetri immediately wrapped his arm and hugged her from behind.

" Stop fighting so that you don't get hurt," he commanded with a husky and baritone voice. The two assistants quickly picked up and put her belongings into the back of the limousine.

Meanwhile, William did not expect to see Lilian at the airport. He is unaware that she's coming back to the Philippines this day. His assistant lift the card where her girlfriend's name was written on it. He showed his delighted smile after glancing at his glamorous girlfriend.

His girlfriend immediately hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. He assists her to get into the limousine. When the car pulled up, he secretly peeked out the window to look for Lilian but she was no longer standing.

Maybe he was just at a mirage earlier.

Demetri and Lilian drove quietly. Lilian's inner self implies fears, anxiety, and hatred at the man next to her. He is a mysterious man who is scary to deal with. The kind of stares he has is like a sharp dagger that can deliver you to die in perturbation.

" Welcome back to the Philippines, darling! " he greeted with his intimidating eyes.

She was nervous and she can feel her trembling hands. It wasn't obvious because she decided to place them between her legs. She just simply trying to suppress the fear and she mustered up the courage to talk to him.

" How did you know that I was to come home this day?" she asked.

" I asked Daniel, " he confidently answered and lit his cigarette.

"Just take me down to Pajarico Subdivision, " she discreetly requests.

Demetri glossed his cunning smile. He got her already and he won't ever release her that easily.

" Go straight to Sappharean Condominium, " he ordered to his chauffeur. Lilian turned her attention to him. She does not live there. She had already bought a house in a hidden and private subdivision.

" Did you hear what I said Demetri?" she irritably inquired.

" Of course, but from now on, you're my fianceé. I don't want my fianceé living in a cheap subdivision," he preceded.

Lilian listened, mouth agape with incredulity.

"No! I c-can't go with you," she stammered.

"And why not? You're already single. We can marry whenever we want," he said with a smirk.

She looked out the window. She did not want to be with this dangerous man. No one can decide who she will marry with. She's going to try of escaping again to Demetri but Demetri hugged her again without hesitation.

" You're not going anywhere, honey!" he seriously stated before he let out his crazy laugh.

He forced her to enter the exclusive condominium. His two assistants followed them. He gripped her wrist and effortlessly pulled her into the elevator. She looked at her belongings carried by his assistant.

What's the hell is going on! Why Demetri acted like this?

She thought that just facing William again was her problem, she didn't think Demetri would do this to her. When the elevator opened, she didn't want to go out but Demetri lifted her like a sack without any difficulty. She protested and hurt his back but he didn't seem to care.

Suddenly Demetri and his two underlings stopped. Lilian was suddenly curious. He slowly put her down and she annoyingly fixed herself, when she screwed up her face, she was even more surprised. William was in front of her. He is with a gorgeous lady, flirty clung her slender arms to his masculine forearm.
