1 The Awakening

He stood right in front of me eyes glowing with greed, he grabbed me and I got dragged to his room where he threw me on sofa.

The next morning I sat up in bed and said,

"What a weird dream."

I was still a bit tired when I woke up so I, rubbed my eyes. I had been having that same dream lately. The I realized, "IM LATE!"

I hurried out of bed got on my clothes and ran out of the room to meet the other Maids. I'm in so much trouble! I thought to myself,

someone important was supposed to come to the Palace today and choose maids to work for them. When I arrived, Miss Aku no noticed me almost instantly, she stepped towards me quickly and ... SLAP! right across my face,

" You dare be late something this important!?"

" I apologize! It will never happen again!" I said

I was really scared of Miss Aku no. I heard one time she slapped someone so many times their cheeks started bleeding personally, that was the only thing I needed to hear to be scared of her, but there were plenty of other stories that were equally bad as that one. I quickly joined the other maids in line.

Then I saw him, the man from my dreams! Was he the important someone coming to the

palace today to choose new Maids? was he going to choose me? thoughts started racing through my head. and then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I looked up and it was him!,

" I want you to be my new maid." he said.

I was shocked! Then I heard Miss Aku no say to him, "Are you sure you want her? there are- plenty of better Maids."

I looked at the man, Frowning he said,

" are you doubting me?"

Miss Aku no quickly stepped back and said,

"No I apologize. You can have her, your highness, I am very sorry for my rudeness."

I was so confused, who was this man? Did he just choose me out of all the maids here? Was I his new maid? Was I finally free from this cursed Palace? What was going on??
