The strange noble house of Carter has held the holdings of Dover in Southern England for hundreds of generations. They knelt the knee to the kings of Wessex. They knelt the knee to the Saxons, and later the Danes. They never offered resistance, secluding themselves to their holdings and seemingly having no ambitions. Now, as the freeholders of Dover, on the turn of the 21st Century the young master of house Carter is ready to fulfil the herculean efforts of his ancestors. At last, the house of Carter will sell it's soul to the Demons and break away from the shackles of mortality.
