9 Raw Qi Travel by Flying Sword

As soon as he searched it, the page went blank.

A message then appeared on the screen.

[Request has been put to auction. Your money will arrive to you once the auction concludes.]

A few seconds later, Zhou Tao received another message.

[Auction has concluded with a price of 100,000 Hellion.]

'Hellion? Is that what they call it nowadays?'

Zhou Tao thought.

When he had made it, it was only called Hellish Currency.

[Your earnings will arrive in one hour.]

'Hm, how long is a hour?' Zhou Tao had no clue. He knew how long a day, a week, a month and a year was but had no clue what an hour was.

His eyes suddenly widened.

'An hour… I remember now!' Zhou Tao recalled something from his past.

In the Hellish language, an hour of secluded meditation meant that the cultivator was secluded for a human year.

'That long? Song Yao is coming tomorrow! I needed to establish a link with the Spirit World before he came or he wouldn't be able to do anything with me!'

Some things cultivators can have help with, and some things cultivators have to do themselves.

Establishing the Initial Link (link with the Spirit World), fell into the latter category. If Zhou Tao didn't have an Initial Link, he couldn't get raw Qi into his body and open his Qi Aperture. He would be a mortal.

Zhou Tao sat there, contemplating other choices he could to take. He came up with none.

An hour passed.

Suddenly, Zhou Tao felt a strange aura enter his surroundings. He felt it go through Peak Sky Mountain and pass Peak Sky Village.

It was headed toward him.

Zhou Tao didn't know what or who it was, but he waited patiently for it to arrive.

To see and examine it with his own eyes or to tear it apart with his own hands, Zhou Tao didn't know the future. But he did know the past and he was content to leave it there. Why should he base everything on the fact that he was once the Demonic Sovereign?

Zhou Tao and the Demonic Sovereign were two different people with two different destinies. It was their decisions that would influence their destinies, not each other.

Leave past things as dreams, and look forward.

If he died now, what did it matter?

What did it matter?

Zhou Tao felt the aura turn into an energy, and then when it became even closer, it turned into a physical shape.

As the object flew closer, Zhou Tao was able to understand what it was.

Someone who had practised a sword technique was technically a cultivator, so their Five Apertures (Mental Aperture, Qi Aperture, Strength Aperture, Speed Aperture and Sight Aperture) were present. The mental energy of the closed Mental Aperture was still enough to sense objects with high energy which are in close proximity.

This was called <Mental Comprehension>.

Zhou Tao knew what it was.

It was a flying sword!
