22 The assassin

Colt told Ivy and Fatty Khan about the duke and his army, when suddenly he felt a strong presence in the corner of the chamber, he looked at it swiftly but there wasn't anything there.

'Hmm? Did this kid just looked at me?' one of the assassins was in Colt's room, he was the one that Colt just felt in the corner.

'There's someone there! I hope he or she is from the army' Colt knew he wouldn't just feel the presence of nothing, so there must be someone there, but what amazed him is that the guards in the mine didn't feel the assassin get in even though there are some of them that are even stronger than Colt so they should have picked anything Colt did, but surprisingly they didn't.

'I hope I am hallucinating… but I need to make sure' the assassin didn't want anyone to know that they started or that would bring the whole plan some problems, so he went besides Colt and started observing him, to see if he would look at him again.

Colt felt a sudden change in the presence as it just got teleported behind him, he was about to turn from instinct but he stopped himself somehow. Colt was wondering if he should just turn and show the one behind this presence that he can see him, but he was scared that he might be someone sent from the mine itself and that would bring him trouble. 'But what if he keeps looking at me like this? I can't even think properly with this huge presence behind me, am I going to die?... at least if I die I am going to die like a MAN!' Colt gathered his courage as he looked back with a smile.

'He looked back!' the assassin looked behind him to see if there's maybe something else this kid could look at but there was only an almost empty chamber, but he wasn't 100% sure that Colt looked at him so he moved again but Colt's eyes kept following him. 'unbelievable! this young and can already detect my presence, I need to take him with me, he has such a good talent in presence detecting, if he a talent close to this in stealth as well then he can be one of the best assassins in the whole Reigh Kingdom! Our Dark shadow sect has been depleting for the last 10 years, because all the new students don't have any talent in stealth nor present detecting, but if this kid joins he may create a miracle for the sect, and we can get back to work again!' the assassin was thinking ahead of time, forgetting that Colt might refuse the invite.

Colt felt someone grabbing his hand, he was going to defend himself but the touch was gentle as if the one touching him didn't want anything bad happening to him, so he just followed the one holding his hand.

"Colt? Where are you going?" Ivy and Fatty were confused as Colt started moving by himself.

"I am coming back in a bit just wait here" Colt told them as he continued following.

The assassin didn't know where to go since he just checked the chambers, but as soon as he left the chamber that Colt was in, Colt stopped him, "follow me" Colt whispered as he took the lead. The assassin was happy to know that Colt is cooperative even without knowing if he is a good or bad person.

Colt took the assassin to the cave that he used to mine in with Fatty Khan.

"He is just a child but he is already working in such a place, he doesn't deserve this!" the assassin felt a bit bad for Colt

"You can show yourself now" Colt said when he reached inside the cave.

"Very well kid, how did you feel my presence?" the assassin finally showed himself, even though the dark bandages and the veil are still hiding his body and face.

"Aren't you at least going to show your face and name before starting to ask?" Colt was still smiling to this point, even though he knew that this assassin can one-shot him if he wanted, but he didn't do anything bad to him up till now, which meant that the assassin didn't have any bad intentions towards Colt.

"Oh sorry, that's rude of me" the assassin didn't mind Colt as long as he joined him, so he took off the veil, when the veil dropped, a yellow long silky hair came out with a beautiful face, and blue eyes.

'Oh damn! She is a true beauty, even though she is missing in the chest area' Colt thought to himself while looking at the assassin."My name is Colt, what's yours?"

"My name is zilean… I mean zilina" Zilean or Zilina seemed as if she made a mistake when she said Zilean at first.

'What? Is she a guy? Or is she trying to hide her true name?' Colt knew that Zilean is either her fake name, or that she is a guy and her true name is Zilean and not Zilina.

"Hello Mr.Zilean so what can I do to help you?" Colt wanted to know which one of his thoughts is true, and it looked like this is a success, because as soon as he said 'Mr.' the assassin's face changed to a bit of disgust for a second.

"Wh-what…What do you mean 'Mr.' I am a girl can't you see?" the assassin said as he/she started posing, he tried to be sexy but he failed miserably as it lead to him just awkwardly posing.

"Oh really?" Colt said as he went to assassin and touched his private place.

"What are you doing?" the assassin pushed him away before he could touch what's in there to see if the assassin is a guy or a girl.

"I knew you are a guy, that's why you aren't letting me touch you there" Colt knew that girls wouldn't let him touch that place as well, but this is all of a master plan to know if this assassin is a guy or a girl.

"I won't let you touch my secret area! Unless… unless you want to take responsibility!" the assassin blushed a bit, as she said the last sentence.

"…uhh… Okay I will responsibility for what I do!" Colt was worried that the assassin might be a guy and after touching his secret place he would make Colt marry him or something like that, but he still took the chance, since Colt believed In the quote 'No pain, No gain'.

Colt started walking towards the assassin as he touched his secret area, after touching it, Colt had one though 'FUCK!'.
