CHAPTER 21

I woke up the next morning. Last night’s conversation was clear in my head. I was not sure about anything at the moment except that I will not let my brother die. There is a way, Lucas and my father weren’t searching hard enough. My Grimoire could have some spells as well which might be helpful. There is still hope….there has to be.

The whole afternoon has spent either training or searching for a spell to save my brother. Lucas was cooped up in his office the whole day. There wasn’t much time left until Megiculus finds us. We had to be prepared to end it once and for all.

Till now I could only find one spell, but it could only be used as a last resort. It would put Charlie and the demon inside him into a deep slumber till we could find out some effective solution to the problem. Apart from that, I finally mastered the invisible sword, the one which can pierce anyone without the opponent knowing. This is a huge help if we have any chance against defeating our enemy.
