Sure enough, uttering these mantras caused a reaction from the system as it presented a large screen that soon turned into an expansive list. After which, 2 of the lines of inscriptions morphed into information Apollo was familiar with.

After heeding Azridan's suggestion, Apollo willed the menu to expand, which revealed information Apollo wasn't previously privy to.

"I want to practice these ASAP! I need to increase my stats immediately," Apollo exclaimed with fervent excitement. Based on the descriptions, all he needed to do was sacrifice stamina which was something that involuntarily recovered, albeit an untold amount for the Demonic Massacre Wave.
[In that case, I think you should take a look at those cores in your pouch. They're perfect for your external absorption.]
Without delay, Apollo emptied his pouch but the numbers he saw baffled him! As far as he knew, at most, he possessed 50 of such things. However, based on what he counted, there were at least 300!
"What the…" Apollo murmured, finding this whole ordeal hard to believe. Picking one up, he inspected it. Glancing around, he spotted blaring differences between all of them. Not only did the colors vary, so did the sizes and purity.
According to the book given by Irauk, this was an indication of the cores category. Every core was unique because it took into account three factors: maturity, purity, and, last but not least, element.
But, the rankings of the cores possessed 5 distinct divisions: Inferior, Ordinary, Exceptional, Superior, and Spirit Heart.
Typically, the beast's ranking determined the core's classification. However, this wasn't always the case. Especially so when it came to the matters regarding Variants, and even Bloodline Beasts. Their cores more often than not experience mutations.
Beyond their classification, there was also the factor of purity. This was separated into grades known as cycles and there were only 4; First, Second, Third, and Complete.
The higher the purity, the stronger the essence that was weaponized.
After recalling this information, Apollo immediately retrieved the two largest in his possession. At most, he expected them to be Ordinary Cores, since they were indeed Rank 2 Spirit Beasts, however, the results surpassed his assumptions!
Each beast had exceptional Essence Cores!

Apollo's attention immediately fell upon the 0 next to the words Experience Source. "No experience will be granted?"
"I understand. So rank determines the size of the core, in other words, the benefits I can receive. The grade, however, indicates the disparity of minimum and maximum and the cycle is the chance or the range this will give me?" questioned Apollo as he based his words off his understanding before continuing, "Since I'll be consuming them, I'll also assume they have something to do with stats?"
[Remember the last-ditch efforts of those beasts? These Cores are akin to a human's dantian. In other words, they exhausted all of the energy inside. But, at least the materials of the core itself are useful to you.]
While it wasn't all bad, Apollo still clicked his tongue in annoyance, while cursing the actions of those beasts. After all, they were Rank 2! Apollo could only imagine the experience he would have received if he siphoned it from their cores.
Nevertheless, Apollo soon disregarded this.
Instead, he looked at something more important. There was an unimaginable number of cores before him, so Apollo knew it would take a while for the system to absorb all of the attributes and experience. So, Apollo took a pellet in preparation for his actions.
The only reason he managed to continue while unconscious for over 3 weeks was because of Azridan. Whereas Apollo needed the pellets to curb his hunger, Azridan could morph a small amount of energy into the fuel Apollo needed. However, it could only be done sparingly.
But, unknown to Apollo, some small disruptions were taking place in the forest.
