75 Chapter Seventy Five

Rina rounded the corner to see a guard posted in front of a door. It was obvious this was where Tristen was located. The guard on duty straightened his posture upon her arrival.

"My Lady," he greeted.

"Hello," 

The guard seemed unmoved by her presence. She stared at him for a moment but he made no move to let her in. 

"I would like to enter," 

"The Lord expressed no one is to enter save for medical attention and food."

"Well I guess it's a good thing the Lord is my mate. Is it not?"

"Ah...yes." The guard seemed hesitant.

"Move aside, I need to speak with him."

Again the guard hesitated.

"What's your name?"

"Samuel, my Lady."

"Samuel, I will let Lord Damien know I insisted you move. You won't get into trouble."
