Training and Practicing

Yu and Dai both stood in front of each other. Yu transformed into her Lightning Maxina form. Lightning crackled and Dai smirked. He was going to stay in his base form. "Ready when you are." Dai tells Yu and Yu sped towards him with a well-aimed punch aiming for his gut.

Dai blocked the punch and he pushed Yu back with a roar. Yu kept her footing and she growled to herself. He's the Demon King for a reason. I can't be too cocky. She thought. She decided to try Lightning Punch and the attack had connected with Dai's abdomen.

Dai grunted and the attack knocked him back, but he regained his footing quickly. "Now what?" Yu asked to herself. Dai stretched his muscles out and he sped towards Yu. Yu leaped into the air at the last moment and Dai stopped his movements.

"Where is she?" Dai asked. He had noticed that she had disappeared after jumping into the air. That was an advanced disappearing skill. He thought, gazing into the sky. He did not see Yu anywhere. The ground broke under him and in shock, he didn't dodge Stun Gun. He now knew how Negan felt when Stun Gun had hit him. That hurt! He thought. Stun Gun was a powerful attack at Yu's disposal and she was using it quite wisely.

"Under you, darling." Yu had answered. She had a smirk on her face and Dai knew that she had won the practice match. "Lightning Vector!" Yu tried out a skill that she haven't used before and it hurt Dai. Dai landed on one knee with a huff of breath. Dai knew that the attack power would have been a lot more stronger had Yu not wasted her time in hiding under the ground.

"You won." Dai tells Yu, who celebrated her victory momentarily with a cheer before she had fainted. Dai, despite his pain, caught Yu in his arms. "Silly wife of mine, we both need rest." Dai says to Yu, who rested her head on her husband's shoulder.

Dai walked towards Eli and Trelawney, who had watched the practice fight. "King Dai, Queen Yu can keep up with you with ease." He was amazed by her strength and Trelawney was admiring Yu's Maxina power. She couldn't believe that Yu was unmatched by mage standard. She also couldn't believe Dai's strength. Both of them are strong and they adopted little weak me? She thought in shock.

"Trelawney, what's wrong?" Dai asked asked after he dismissed Eli with Yu in his arms. Trelawney looked up to Dai patting her head.

"I'm weak and you two are strong, no, powerful. Both of you are powerful and I'm weak." Trelawney sobbed on Dai. Dai sighed at Trelawney's sobs. He knew that she would have felt that way.

"You are a mage too, aren't you?" Dai asked gently.

"I'm considered worse than trash so I'm weak." Trelawney answered. Dai burned in anger of what she had said. He had heard of Mages' Law being strict, but he didn't expect them to be that strict. Eli came back a few moments after and he noticed the sad look on Trelawney's face and the angry look on King Dai's face. His face remained passive, but he wondered what was wrong.

"Eli, train Trelawney." King Dai had told Eli. Eli was surprised at this, but he was eager to teach Trelawney how to fight.

"Of course, King Dai. It will be my pleasure to train Trelawney." Eli answers King Dai. He nodded.

"Good." He responded. He turned to Trelawney. "Come at me with your quickest speed." Eli tells Trelawney. She did what was ordered of her and Eli let her come at him. Trelawney prepared to kick and Eli didn't move. Trelawney moved her leg upward, creating a small Wind Gale. The attack didn't hurt Eli at all as it felt like a gentle breeze. Trelawney felt embarrassed by this as her face grew hot.

"Are you a Stormy Wind Maxina user?" Eli asked Trelawney. Trelawney nodded shyly. Eli smiled at Trelawney. "That's awesome! With more training, you can combine stormy winds at your disposal, no matter how the weather is that day." Eli praised Trelawney.

Trelawney smiled at Eli's words. He thinks I can be stronger. She thought. "Teach me, please." She spoke to Eli. Eli smiled at Trelawney's request.

"Of course, my lady. Do you have a signature move?" Eli asked. Trelawney knew that Yu's signature move was Lightning Punch and she knew that she didn't have a move like that at her disposal at the moment. She shook her head in the negative.

Eli knew that he would enjoy this.
