12 Self Reflection

After awhile, Yu had stopped crying entirely and she just stared in her reflection in the river where they had stopped at for the moment. Yu saw her red and puffy eyes, reminding her that she had cried for her crime. She hugged herself, feeling extremely guilty for betraying herself and her morals that she had set for herself. She knew that she was living where war is extremely common, but she wasn't expecting to be fighting in a war just to ensure her own survival alongside her new husband's survival. She felt sick for enjoying killing the man. In her reflection, her Maxina form appeared to her. Yu gasped at the changes that she had went through using her Maxina. The electricity crackled in her reflection. "What do you want?" Yu questioned. Her Maxina persona just stared at her, until the soft stare turned into a glare.

"Why the hell are you moping? He attacked us!" The persona that was Yu in her Maxina form growled out at her.

"I killed someone! I broke my own moral! I betrayed myself!" Yu shouted at her Maxina form. The Maxina form of Yu just continued to glare at Yu before the glare had finally softened.

"I'm Maxina Yu, nice to meet you, Yu." Maxina Yu tells Yu with a polite tone of voice and Yu felt a heavy darkness coming over her.

"What are you doing?" Yu demanded from Maxina Yu. Maxina Yu was shocked at how quickly Yu felt the overwhelming darkness, but she knew that she would have to explain that it's not coming from her.

"That's not coming from me, Yu. That overwhelming darkness is coming from you. You hate yourself so much, the darkness is trying to possess you. You should never hate yourself to the point where the overwhelming darkness can control both you and me." Maxina Yu advises Yu. Yu had teary eyes again and Maxina Yu knew that Yu was going to ask something of her.

"What can I do?" Yu asked Maxina Yu and Maxina Yu finally broke out into a smile.

"That's easy. Forgive yourself and accept me, because you are NOT a horrible person and I'm you." Maxina Yu tells Yu. Yu rubbed her eyes with her hand, forgiving herself of her wrongdoing. It's a war. People are brutally killed in wars. Negan deserved to die for killing that mage child and he awakened my Maxina power. I got a good thing out of him awakening my powers. I've received strength and I can help Dai. Yu thought, smiling happily into her reflection, only to see that she had transformed into her Maxina form, thus, forgiving herself and accepting Maxina Yu as her own power.

Dai walked towards Yu. "Yu, are you alright? You've transformed." Dai noticed, becoming worried. Yu turned to Dai and she smiled.

"I am perfect. I was doing some self reflection. I know I need more training to better control my Maxina, but I am feeling better about killing Negan. I know that it's a war and that your enemies are my enemies because I am your wife." Yu tells Dai, who hugged Yu.

"You had me so worried. You were staring at your reflection for so long, I thought that killing Negan had completely broken you." Dai started babbling about how worried he was for Yu and Yu smiled at him. Still transformed, she gave him a kiss on his cheek. Dai shut up and he blushed at the kiss that Yu had gave him on his cheek. Yu was blushing as well, but Dai couldn't see it due to her being in her Maxina form.

Yu let the transformation release and she didn't feel faint like the last two times she had used her Maxina power. "I don't feel faint. I can transform at will. Yes!" Yu cheered happily while Dai smiled at her, still blushing.

"That's great, Yu." Dai tells Yu. He was very happy for Yu. He loved seeing Yu so happy. Seeing his beloved makes his heart soar with happiness. Dai then realized that when Yu gets stronger, he and her would make the power couple of the demon army and that they would be fit to be called King and Queen, respectively. Dai wouldn't wait for that day to come, but he can be patient. After all, even the Demon King needs to train to receive new powers.
