Revival of a Kind Heart

Yu was smelling the scent of the dead mage. "Her scent is strong." She says, alerting Dai.

"Who's scent?" He questioned, about to attack someone.

"The dead mage. Poor thing, I can tell that she was only fourteen years of age. She didn't want to fight the war and he killed her." Yu says, clinching her fists. She couldn't believe the cruelty of Negan. The entire mage race save for her suffered from Negan's cruel reign. She knew about the murder because her Maxina power allowed her to see recent wrongdoings of any mage in the past week.

You can bring her back to life. Yu's Maxina form told her mentally. How? Yu asked back, mentally. You have to meditate in front of her body. The answer came. Yu went back to the real world and she turned to stare to Dai. Dai stared back. "How do you feel about a new ally?" Yu asked with a smirk about to form across her face. Dai saw the smirk and he returned her cocky look with a smile.

"What is it?" He asked back.

"The mage child that was murdered by Negan." Yu answered Dai, who stared at her in shock.

"You're going to revive her?" He asked, shocked by Yu's willingness to revive the girl.

"She's an innocent victim of Negan's cruelty. She deserves to live longer than just fourteen years, don't you think?" Yu asked Dai. Dai thought about it. She's right. Dai thought.

"You're right. Fourteen years is too short for any child to live." Dai responded to Yu, who gave him a smile.

"I can follow the scent. Her scent is still fresh, despite her death being a week ago." Yu tells Dai, who got up to accompany Yu, but Yu stopped him with her hand. "Stay here and save your energy. I can go and meditate." Yu tells Dai, who reluctantly agreed to let Yu go off on her own.

"Stay safe." Dai tells Yu. Yu threw a victory sign up.

"Of course!" Yu says, smiling widely. The smile disappeared when she turned around to find the mage child's body. She sniffed around and when she came across the most grossest scent ever, she knew that she had found the body of the murdered child. Yu smiled sadly at the body.

You didn't deserve to die. She thought, sitting down in front of the body. She crossed her legs and she connected both of her fists and put them in front of her body. Good posture. Her Maxina form tells her, happy that Yu was going to revive a person that didn't deserve the death that she was given. I know. Yu responded.

"Wrongful Death Cancellation." Yu chanted, making the dead body and herself glow. Yu glowed because she was using her power to help bring back a innocent person. The dead body continued to glow as the wound that was given to the child disappeared. Her skin formed like nothing had even happened to her. The dead body regained coursing blood and her eyes popped open. The girl let out a scream of shock at being alive.

She stopped glowing and she was gently put on the ground. "Eh? I'm alive, but I was dead." She whimpered.

"Not anymore." Yu tells the now revived child. The child stared at Yu in fear and then, she realized that Yu revived her.

"Thank you." The mage child was very grateful to Yu. Yu grinned at the child, but then she felt a very threatening presence around the area they were in. Yu crouched down and she tackled the child to protect her from the blast was aimed at the child. The child screamed. "Are you alright?" She asked Yu, who felt her back sting from the blow.

"Yeah, it stings a little." Yu was honest with the child. "What's your name? I can't keep calling you child forever." Yu smiled at the child.

"Trelawney." Trelawney answered. Yu answered Trelawney's answer with a smile.

"Adorable name, Trelawney." Yu says, scooping up the girl into her arms. Trelawney gazed down at the attention she was being given by her new protector.

"Thank you." She answered softly. Yu smiled at her new charge. Yu staggered a bit, feeling the jolt of electricity hurt her back. Crap. She thought, lifting Trelawney into her arms and she leaped into the air.

"Hang on!" Yu shouted, feeling the wind through her hair and she held Trelawney tightly in her arms. Yu founded her way back to Dai, who grabbed Trelawney from Yu to let her land on one knee.

"What happened?" Dai asked, looking over Yu's back. Yu grunted in pain.

"We got attacked by something, but I wasn't able to see what it was." Yu tells Dai. Dai sets Trelawney down and he pressed his hands to Yu's back and he lightly heated his hands, making Yu groan in relief and slight pain. Yu felt good and she showed it by smiling widely. Trelawney was watching them and she tilted her head to the side, confused. Yu noticed the confused look and she giggled at Trelawney.

"I'm his wife." Yu tells the young girl and Trelawney blushed at the fact that the couple was married and that she was probably intruding on them.

"I'm probably intruding on you two, so I'll leave." Trelawney says, but Dai stopped her by grabbing the back of her shirt.

"You're not intruding." Dai tells the mage child. Trelawney smiled shyly at Dai and Dai smiled back. Yu smiled at the interaction. She was glad that Dai didn't mind Trelawney's appearance. "Can you fight?" Dai asked. Trelawney's smile disappeared and she gazed down at the ground.

"I was never trained." She answered after awhile. Yu gasped at this while Dai bristled at her answer. He was going to send a untrained child in a war as a fighter? Dai couldn't hide his disgust as he snorted, glad that Yu had killed Negan.

Yu couldn't hide her disgust either as she transformed into her Maxina form. Trelawney was shocked at this as she didn't know that Maxina was that powerful! Trelawney could feel Yu's Maxina increase little by little. Yu's eyes then turned red and she used Lightning Punch on Dai, who leaped out of the way. "Yu, what's wrong?" Dai asked. Dai then noticed Yu's red eyes. Mind control! He thought, horrified. He gazed back at Trelawney and she was frightened. Dai ran in front of Trelawney and Yu growled at him.

"That's right, my little puppet. Kill him and bring me the girl." A mysterious voice commanded Yu and Yu made the first move once again. She aimed a punch at Dai and he took the punch, painfully crashing into rocks that dug into his skin. Dai spit out some blood due to Yu's hits being hard. "Too easy. Bring me the girl." The voice commanded Yu. Yu walked towards Trelawney and Trelawney fell back in fear.

Wordlessly, Yu held out her hand to grab Trelawney by her shirt, when Trelawney had screamed.
